I left Earth to start a new life, but I’m still the same old clumsy Holly. Every time the seven foot tall alien delivery guy brings stock to my space station coffee shop I turn into a stuttering mess.

I’ve given up ever learning his name when he brings me a present… and I dump hot cocoa all over him. But it’s when he sniffs me and tells me I’m his mate that I start to wonder if he’s more than I bargained for.

It’s going to take more than a little holiday magic to prevent me from screwing up what might just be the best Christmas ever.

Mistletoe Mishaps is a short read set in Melody's Taurean Warriors universe, but can be read as a standalone.
This story is a light and cozy alien romance with a HEA.

Melody Beckett is an Australian author of action-filled alien romances. Her books almost always feature damaged heroes and sassy women who can save themselves, thank you very much!

She loves writing in the mornings, thinks that celery is the worst vegetable and that chocolate should be its own food group.

Melody lives near the beach in Western Australia with her husband, and their two animal overlords: a tiny parrot and a rescued greyhound who has a better wardrobe than Mel.

Holly has been covertly (she thought) checking out the super hot alien who regularly delivers packages to her shop, when he approaches her with a holiday gift. Taken by surprise, Holly spills a hot drink all over him, soaking both their clothes.

K’Laus has been fixated on the curvy human since the moment he caught her scent. Finally mustering the courage to approach her in a non-professional capacity, he’s pleased to recognize her as his mate, and he’s determined to secure her affection as soon as possible.

Hot sexy times ensue, with K’Laus’s fancy appendages doing a great deal of the heavy lifting. Lots of steam and humor make this a quick, satisfying read.

Holly, the female human lead, runs a coffee shop off planet. She has a crush on K’Laus, the male alien lead who is her delivery person, but she hasn’t worked up the courage to approach him. Then he approaches her with the gift of an Earth plant which believe is mistletoe for “Christmas”.

Spending time together, K’Laus shares that she’s his mate. Now he just needs to convince her…

This short story is female lead POV, well written, and a sweet and steamy, alien/human, fated mates romantic comedy. I laughed at how awkward Holly was. I enjoyed seeing her relax. I enjoyed K’Laus’ confidence about what they were to each other. I enjoyed the intimate moments.

Mistletoe Mishaps is a fun, steamy holiday short that delivers to its MFC Holly a gift that keeps on giving during the holiday season.
Holly has been admiring MMC K’Laus every time he delivers boxes of product to her coffee shop weekly. On one of those delivery days during the Christmas holidays he gifts her a cactus that looks remarkably like a part of a male’s anatomy, stating it is mistletoe and now they have to kiss. When she accidentally spills hot chocolate all over him they end up at her place to clean up and one thing leads to another.
What K’Laus knows though is that Holly is his mate!
A nicely written anytime of the year holiday story! HEA.

This is another fun addition to the series, with a very interesting cactus that well, indicates a fated mate. Holly has been crushing on her deliveryman, K'Laus, for a while and when he presents her with a cactus he's named Mistletoe, she's thrilled. I love how he explained watching Earth movies to learn about Christmas, hence the cactus name, and uses it to ask for a kiss. Holly is shy and not used to asking for what she wants but she soon learns that he's all in for her ;P Definitely entertaining and steamy. Good fun!

Holly lives on a space station and has opened a coffee shop. She also decided to celebrate Christmas since she can celebrate any time she wants. K’laus is a purple alien with spots on his neck and sexy as can be. Holly has crushed on him since she met him. He claims she’s his mate and he’s brought her an unusual mistletoe so he can get a kiss. This is a great erotic short story. It goes straight to the point, characters fall in love and have a great HEA. Can’t ask for more and I really enjoyed it.

Holly has been crushing on the hot alien who delivers to her coffee shop, but thinks she is too ordinary for him to notice her. K’Laus noticed Holly from his first delivery to her shop, instantly recognizing her as his mate. Now he has researched human customs and is ready to declare his interest.
This is a quick, steamy read with a gorgeous alien male who is prepared to worship his human mate. The attraction is intense, both characters are likeable and the story being short provides a wonderful palate cleansing read. As always, a great read from the author.

Good funny short Christmas novella with a sweet alien who isn't backwards about sharing his feelings with his mate. Nicely written with an easy to read style that's full of Christmas cheer and a cactus, naturally :-) I would have enjoyed reading more of these two delightful characters.... that's a good thing.

This is a fun and quick steamy alien Christmas romance set on a space station between K’Laus & Holly. I enjoyed getting to know both of them and all the cute little misunderstandings K’Laus makes, he was really sweet. This was my second alien holiday romance by this author and I look forward to reading more in the future.

K’Laus and Holly
Holly runs a coffee shop. Her delivery guy is a handsome alien. When Holly decides it's Christmas time ( being in space not on earth), K'laus shows up with a catus type plant and calls it mistletoe. He also asked for a kiss. This is the beginning of their love story.

I will never look at a cactus the same way again! When you read this book, you'll understand what I mean! Holly has had a crush on the large purple guy who delivers supplies to her coffee shop since she met him. K'Laus can't get Holly out of his mind, and he knows she is his mate. This is such a sweet Christmas-themed romance. It's both sweet and steamy! An excellent short read!

Christmas has come again and this is just perfect slice of that time of year. It's sweet, funny and, at this moment in time, exactly what I needed. K’Laus and Holly both like each other and yet neither feels confident enough to make that first step. The option of the time of year giving a bit of courage is just enough to set the ball rolling for these two. Loved it!

This short novella can be read in about an hour. It is filled with fated mates and lots of steam. K'Laus and Holly are mates and find that life is more fun that way. I recommend this book to all romance readers who like a bit of steam with their alien lovers.
