This is a fantastic book and a potential game changer for me. I loved Ailsa’s honest, real style and her immensely practical advice, backed up by science, and all without coming over as perfect and patronising.

As one who has been struggling with menopausal weight gain for the past 3 years, this book feels like it might be the answer. What makes it that is the incredibly helpful and practical elements of goal setting and planning that Ailsa offers. Making the change isn’t a short effort or wishful thinking but requires real intentionality, and she spells that out clearly. But she also encourages stepping into change at a manageable pace rather than sweeping in with big changes that don’t last long.

I’m looking forward to getting the well-being journal and giving myself a 3 month crack at putting Ailsa’s wisdom into practice.

One comment/suggestion: change the name of the book, it doesn’t do it justice! The title should be forward looking and offers some life enhancing and transforming wisdom that goes beyond menopausal weight.

A highly recommended book!
