Rate this book
After discovering the truth about her past, Fleas was promptly abandoned by her confidant, the one person she thought would always be around to help her navigate her expanding world. Now all alone with her secret, she searches for any small sign that may be the flicker of light upon her intended path.

But when the path splits and there are two choices laid out before her, Fleas is forced to choose between the life she worked so hard to create for herself and the one that may uncover more about the family she lost so long ago.

Even more perilous for the young captain, other people’s lives are on the line this time and either direction could lead to more loss and hardship for those she loves.

Join Fleas as the flames rise higher and enemies draw closer than she ever thought possible.

Incredible follow up to The Crimson Queen. As much as I like the first installment this book has a lot more going for it. Much more complex storytelling and more compelling characters. If you like fantasy give these books a read you will not regret it. Very excited for more installments in this series and the new story’s to be told from this author.
