Next in a fun and exciting isakei series

Nate is crazy and crazy powerful, he’s done a lot and is taking applications for teachers, lol. The bestest corgi still kicking butt along Nate and the rest of the group o level 6. Was a little dry in the beginning, but quickly got better. I’ve really enjoyed this series so far.

Onwards and upwards the lvls go!

Another excellent addition. There are a few very thought provoking lore drops here too! Some may be off put by the "slow" pase of the story overall but i love that we are taking our time with the story and tutorial! Definitely looking forward to the next book.

Originally I wasn't the biggest fan of Nat but he really grows on you, and by book 5 you're really hoping he takes it all. Can't wait to see what happens next and that we are getting closer and closer.

Better and better

I truly enjoy the variety of personnae in this story.

The system is exactly what we expect it to be - an AH.

The mc is suitably odd, while seemingly open to this whole situation.

The side characters are enjoyable.

I like the way the story flows, with minimal flashbacks, and not too much crunchiness.

I have found that Lissandra is potentially going to play a bigger part, but that may be my wishful thinking.

This is a great series with much to offer.

This fifth volume perhaps has more pacing issues than the previous ones, and there's a sense that the development of Nat's powers (particularly his crafting abilities) has stalled.
The book also suffers somewhat from being compared to the previous volume, which was the best in the series so far.
But overall, it remains an excellent series and a great read.

Fine but a weaker book in the series. Almost no character development for anybody. Overall plot doesn't move forward. Still absolutely nails the voice of the protagonist.

Numbers do go up, if that is what you are looking for.

Great story

This book series is a bit of a slow burn, a lot happened in this book but also not enough. I feel like the scope of power in this world keeps expanding and I'm excited for Nat to start really progressing along that curve.
