"I don't ever want to love you as much as I possibly can

because if I did

that means I wouldn't get to fall more in love with you every day like I do"

If She Was Mine is a collection of poems, words torn from the heart in its weakest moments. As each poem reveals itself, the grand story of young love develops. Poems of young love and heartbreak, desire and emotions. These poems capture the rush of loves first touch.

Written for women struggling with their identity, girls who have been told they are wrong for who they love, and all of the beautiful people in the world, who just want to live as themselves, If She Was Mine touches the heart of its readers and leaves a stain to be remembered forever.

This is a story of discovering, losing, accepting, and understanding love, told through 70 original poems.

This was a beautiful book of poetry about crushing on someone and being stuck in limerence hoping one day to get a chance and how moving on with someone else doesn't always help instead you end up comparing.

I genuinely loved this whole collection so much, each poem was so heartfelt and written with deep emotion I can't choose a stand out poem but encourage you to pick up and enjoy the collection yourself!
