Chaos reigns on date night in a split second, catching two lovers up in the crosshairs of a trigger-happy psycho. The sudden hail of gunfire leaves the unsuspecting lovers bewildered and unable to comprehend how or why they suddenly have a target on one or both of their backs. But who pulled the trigger? Who’s dying to see Elijah or Keyella’s bodies riddled with bullets and their blood staining the concrete? And why? Is someone out for revenge, money, or jealousy? Did their naughty, wild, whirlwind romance bring about more enemies than supporters rooting for their love to bloom? Did their ecstasy trigger the hidden misery of another?
With bullets flying and no real time to take cover, every breath becomes more precious than the last. As death surrounds them, squeezing at their hearts, terror seeps into their bones, paralyzing them in the center of the tornado swirling around them. Under a beautiful, star-filled night, the ugly that’s exposed will change their lives forever.
With questions piling up and answers nowhere to be found, what will become of these two lovers? And will their still fragile beginning be able to survive? Should they live to see the dawn of a new day? Will Keyella and Elijah make it through this dark storm only to be thrust into another that’s even more terrifying? Will these two lovebirds get to live a life filled with ecstasy or one tormented by mayhem? Is one destined to live without the other and bear only half a heart, or will these lovers just cease to exist…
Key still was getting on my damn nerves with her trying and failing to resist Elijah BDE. She was the Harlequinn, and that ninja was def the puppet master...had her kitty purring all day everyday...shit probably even in the afterlife🤣🤣. I loved the fact that he took charge, like he let key be on her crazy rah rah shit but when he needed to shut shit down, he got to it, and it was a wonderful thing to see. Now when she finally let shit rock, I was good with her. Now with the possible shooters when we left off in book 1 idk there were def hella suspects. Specifically, the aunt of Key cause the way that people dropped like flies when it came to her was suspicious. Revenge was sweet cause it wasn't even revenge...with the first slut me out scene that we were given.... shit that's all you gone get from me on that front cause when I say that the sexy good time had me parched...would make a prostitute blush🤣🫣.
now the bitches that threw bricks in the shop deserved that ass whooping...I mean Key beat the shit out of them. Blossom is the best friend that anyone can ask for and I see that she is getting her back broke in by Maurice🤣. Is there a story are we getting on??
Damn when I say I did not see that twist with the shooters and the reason.... hot damn I was livid. Shit this plot had my f*cking chest tight but I loved every minute of it...not to mention but these 2 be hunching like rabbits...🫣🤣. If Ms. ma'am gone do one thing it's write hella good sexy time and Imma eat that shit up every time
This story had my emotions on a emotional chokehold. After completing this story, it was some clues hidden and I was thrown off each time.
It was so extremely gooood! I couldn't believe they crazy arses hated on Keyella because she was confident in who she was and worked hard to achieve her goals.
It be your own relatives and close so-called friends that will cross you.
I was very happy to so Elijah knew what he wanted and needed. He didn't let all that mouth deter him in getting and keeping what he wanted.
I got book 1 from the 2025 BRAE event & since it ended on a cliffhanger, downloaded book 2 on KU.
I would describe this series as Tyler Perry with SMUT 🥵
Some of the plot points felt like they came out of nowhere, the name mixups & grammar mistakes occurred more often than I would’ve liked…at one point, the author changed Keyella’s ex-boyfriend’s name from Dylan to Darius or something like that. Just silly mistakes that can take you out the book.
To know that Key had that many snakes around her is crazy. First her aunt with her evil self just hating just because she wanted her dad and he wanted her sister then her own mother left everything to Key when she died so now she super mad. It’s like your family is supposed to love you not praying and plotting for your downfall. Then Key supposed bestie only dealt with her because she was a mark is wild. Like you stayed around with that much hate and animosity. The twist this story had kept me on the edge of my seat. Overall great read
This was a sexy 2 part series. I loved how Elijah loved Key it was out loud and bold. She needed that even though she didn't want to believe it or accept it. This series also shows you how hate and envy can cause some deep pain. Now I just need a book with Blossom and Resse. One with Brooklyn and Jai.
The intensity of the series was crazy. Sweeew you had to have a lot of self control when it came to Elijah and Keyella. Key went through a lot and had a lot of people against her, but then Elijah came into her life and turned it upside down, but for the better and the roller coaster ride was amazing. Awesome read
This book is a real page-turner! It's got all the ingredients of a great thriller: suspense, murder, and shocking twists. And let's not forget the romance - it's hot! 😰 India’s writing is descriptive and engaging, making it easy to get lost in the story. The ending is satisfying, and as always I'm impressed with Ms. India's skills.
Has as assessed Indaaaaa!!!!!!!! Loved this series!!!!!! I knew it was Mickey when he said she looked familiar!!!! I knew it was her too because what you out of town for this long girl bye jealous trick!!!
I loved the way the series ended. The plot twists were so good and unexpected. I loved the way Elijah loved Keyella. I hope we get a story on Blossom and Maurice.
This was so good! The things that Keyella had to go through would bring anyone to their knees and stay there, but she's one tough cookie. Elijah was God sent.
Loved how Elijah loved on Keyella. She had several challenges and he was always there loving and supporting her. The 2nd part gave the characters everything they deserved.
