Grab your peanuts and Cracker Jacks-it’s time for more Tennessee Terrors action!
I’ve read several books in this collaborative series, and I’ve completely fallen for its signature blend of fun, flirtiness, and fast-paced storytelling. Think Hallmark vibes with a bit more emotional depth-not overly polished, just heartfelt and real. It’s the perfect mix of baseball romance and the ache of a forbidden love that’s impossible to ignore.
Chase, the Terrors’ starting third baseman, may look like he has it all, but beneath the surface, he’s craving something more meaningful. His career success hasn’t filled the growing emptiness in his life-until Skyler, his childhood best friend’s sister, moves to Tennessee. With Skyler back in the picture, everything starts to shift for Chase. He falls hard and fast, but there’s one big complication: her brother Ethan, Chase’s best friend and agent, is fiercely protective and more than a little overbearing. Can you say drama?
As Chase and Skyler navigate the challenges of keeping their relationship under wraps, the emotional stakes rise. Hiding their feelings isn’t easy, but the way they handle it, maturely, respectfully, and with so much heart-made me love them even more.
Their chemistry is undeniable, their banter is funny and sweet, and their connection feels natural and earned. I’ll admit, l’ve never been the biggest fan of the childhood friends-to-lovers trope, but stories like this are quickly changing my mind.
If you’re in the mood for a swoon-worthy, sweet, and emotionally satisfying baseball romance, this one’s a home run.
This installment of Tennessee Terrors series follows Chase and Skylar's story. I love the friends to lovers trope. The banter that flows between tnem was on point. Ethan absolutely drove me crazy!! That man needed a hobby to occupy his time.
Stealing Bases by Tarrah Anders is the sixth book in the Tennessee Terrors Series. If you’re new to this series have no fear. These books can all be read as standalones! If you happen to love romance book series where each book is written by a different author, this is that series and these are those books! Now, without further ado, let’s dive into what Stealing Bases by Tarrah Anders is all about.
Chase didn’t have a great childhood to fall back on like most. But with the help of his best friend’s parents, he made something of himself. Now, he’s a major league baseball player with millions in the bank and kindness for helping those exactly like him in his heart. He’ll do everything he can to play it forward. But, when one of those requests is strictly from his best friend, to stay away from his sister. Chase refuses to heed the strong advice. Matters of the heart sometimes overrule friendships. The last thing I loved about Chase was the fact that he took his tragic upbringing and turned it into something positive. This man has a heart of gold, and it showed!
Skylar has lived her life in the shadows. As a kid/teenager she’s watched her brothers best friend, Chase, with a hungry eye. Now that Chase is working on building a charity within her firm, all bets are on the table and she’ll do whatever she can, even defy her brother’s wishes, to wrap Chase around her finger. After all, she’s not a teenager anymore. She’s her own person.
Tarrah Anders is a new to me author, which is one thing I absolutely love about this series. Throughout the last few years, I’ve been introduced to so many new to me authors due to series such as this one. I really enjoyed the flow that came with Tarrah Anders writing style. I also enjoyed how she made her characters relatable, even if one is a major league baseball player. I felt the emotions throughout the novel and there wasn’t a moments where I second guessed what the characters were feeling. I’m not usually a fan of the ‘Secret Relationship’ trope, due to the fact that I have read so many books in this trope category and they all seem to have the same climatic moment. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the way Tarrah Anders switched it up! Due to this novel, I can see myself reading more from this author in the future!
Now let’s dive into the characters, starting with my favorite and let me start by saying, I wouldn’t have been as cool as Skylar was with all of her older brother’s meddling. But, given her backstory, I loved the fact that she let her brother be protective. Until, it got to be too much. Then she set up her boundaries and reinforced them! This woman is fiercely independent with a kind soul. I also loved the fact that she went after what she wanted with no second guessing. I loved the portrayal of a strong woman who’s not afraid to go after what her heart desires most!
And then we have Chase. I loved the sweetheart vibes! This man would move heaven and earth for those he holds near and dear to his heart. I also loved the fact that he happened to fall hard for his best friend’s younger sister. In all honesty, I haven’t swooned this hard in a long time! I loved the fact that Chase was a no-nonsense kind of guy. He knew he wanted to make this thing with Skylar official and he went for it. So no relationship back and forth nonsense!
There was something about Chase and Skylar that fit from the very first glance. These two were destined and there was no denying the chemistry! One issue with their relationship that I had was I wanted to see there relationship develop more outside of the bedroom and outside of work meetings. I wanted to see more dates as a couple and I wanted to hear more conversations that weren’t based on the topic of Skylar’s brother finding out. Which leads to why I dropped a ½ star on my rating.
Another ½ star was dropped due to the random chapter from Skylar’s brother’s point of view. For me, this chapter interfered with the flow of the story. I drew a conclusion already that Mr. Ethan wasn’t at all happy to have his little sister dating his best friend. And having his words of doubt in my head messed up the flow a bit, for me.
Overall, Tarrah Anders is a great author with great story telling skills. Having been my first read from her, I can easily see myself searching for more books by this author. I enjoyed Skylar and Chase’s story from the sweet moment to the sexy as sin, there story was one I couldn’t put down. I just needed a little bit more to push this one up to a five star read.
I like the idea of best friend's sister/forbidden romance but this one needed to be more fleshed out for me.
Firstly, Ethan, the brother, was a total dick. He warned both of them off each other but without much reason given. At one point he has an interaction with Chase about staying away from his sister and says "You're not good enough for her." Like excuse me, what? What a horrible thing to say to someone let alone your best friend. Chase also comes from a family with absentee parents so I'm surprised this didn't send him into some kind of "I'll never be good enough for anyone" trauma response. He seriously just brushes off this comment and the scene ends.
It's not until towards the end of the book that Ethan is like "I've seen you leave a trail of broken hearts and I'm protecting my sister from that". I feel like this would have made more sense had Chase been portrayed as a playboy prior to reconnecting with Skyler and that Ethan was worried ALL along that Chase was playing with her, but that's now how it goes down.
Ethan aside, I enjoyed the rest of the book. I did skim along the spicy scenes after the first one because of their frequency but that is a me-thing and not a reflection on story quality.
Editing-wise: There are a ton of errors in this book. Missing punctuation, improper use of words, random misspellings. It isn't horrible, but could use another go-around with an editor. I'm frankly shocked at how many of the reviews on here stated that they received an ARC but none of these people caught all these mistakes? Weird. I bring up this point because our FMC is at the office one afternoon and receives a few emails from her boss that she laments make no sense. She comments on his lack of punctuation and spelling making for a confusing email. It just made me laugh out loud at the irony.
Overall this book was fine. Not my favorite of the Tennessee Terrors series but a good addition.

Stealing Bases by Tarrah Anders follows Chase and Skylar on their forbidden journey to love. This was my first Tarrah Anders book and my first book in the Tennessee Terrors Series. I will definitely be reading more of both.

Stealing Bases is the seventh book in a series with ten amazing authors about the Tennessee Terrors baseball team. All books have crossover characters but are standalone novels and can be read in any order.
In Stealing Bases, Tarrah Anders delivers a swoony, slow-burn sports romance with all the tension and temptation of a forbidden love story. The novel follows Chase Thorne, third baseman for the Tennessee Terrors, who may look like he has it all—fame, money, and a successful career. But behind the polished image is a man whose life is carefully orchestrated by his longtime agent and best friend, Ethan Hale.
Ethan’s number one rule? Skylar Hale, his little sister, is completely off limits. Skylar is successful and independent in her own right—working with purpose in the nonprofit world, helping those in need. But Ethan’s constant interference and overprotectiveness have left her feeling suffocated. She’s more than capable of making her own decisions—and when she and Chase reconnect as adults, sparks fly fast and furiously.
What begins as a forbidden attraction turns into something deeper, more meaningful, and much riskier. As their chemistry intensifies, so does the risk of hurting someone they both care about. Chase must choose between loyalty and love—and Skylar must decide if she’s willing to defy her brother for a chance at something real.
Stealing Bases blends the electric energy of pro sports with the emotional intensity of forbidden love. Chase and Skylar’s story is one of courage—of stepping out of expectations and choosing love anyway. With witty banter, sizzling chemistry, and the kind of slow-burn that makes your heart ache in the best way, this is a great pick for fans of protective brothers, sports settings, and characters who finally choose themselves.
Next up in the Tennessee Terrors series—where ten authors each bring their own unique voice to the world of baseball romance—is Stealing Bases by Tarrah Anders. This friends-to-lovers, best friend’s sister, secret relationship romance delivers the perfect blend of chemistry, conflict, and forbidden temptation.
Chase may be a star on the field, but off the diamond, his life is tightly managed by his best friend and no-nonsense agent, Ethan. So when Skylar—Ethan’s younger sister and a friend from Chase’s past—steps back into his life, things quickly shift from familiar friendship to something much more dangerous… and undeniably magnetic.
Their chemistry crackles from the start, but with Ethan watching Chase’s every move, and with family loyalties on the line, their connection must remain under wraps. What starts as a secret quickly becomes impossible to hide, especially when hearts are involved. And when Ethan finally discovers the truth? All bets are off.
Tarrah Anders delivers a heartfelt, heat-filled romance that perfectly balances the thrill of forbidden love with the emotional weight of friendship and family ties. Stealing Bases is a passionate story about what happens when you follow your heart—even if it risks everything.
Tropes: Best friend’s sister, friends-to-lovers, secret relationship, baseball romance Spice Level: 🔥🔥🔥 – Steamy, swoony, and deliciously secretive Series: Tennessee Terrors (standalone in a 10-book multi-author series)
If you’re a fan of emotional tension, forbidden romance, and swoony athletes falling for the one girl they shouldn’t, Stealing Bases is a must-read home run.
Stealing Bases is a steamy sports romance about loyalty, love, and breaking the rules that hold you back. Chase Thorne has everything as the star third baseman for the Tennessee Terrors, but behind the fame, he’s stuck living by his best friend and agent Ethan’s rule: stay away from Ethan’s sister, Skylar.
Skylar is strong, determined, and used to fighting for others through her nonprofit work, but she’s tired of being treated like she can’t make her own choices. When she and Chase reconnect, the chemistry is undeniable—but choosing each other means risking friendships, family bonds, and everything they’ve built.
This was such a good read. I really liked how Chase and Skylar’s chemistry was built throughout the story. Even though there’s attraction the moment they see each other again, it’s not something instant or careless for either of them. As their story unfolds, it feels so heartfelt—like experiencing what it’s like to fall for someone for the first time all over again. It’s such a sweet feeling.
I loved their personalities. I thought Skylar would be shy and timid at first, only to discover she’s actually confident, determined, and fierce. And Chase? He’s the ultimate golden retriever man, through and through. I also really felt Skylar’s frustration with Ethan—dude, really??!! 🤣
This is such a light, fun, lovely, slightly steamy, and swoonworthy kind of story—with all the tension that comes from their friendship with her overprotective brother.
Stealing Bases is now available on KU!
Thank you to Wordsmith Publicity and Tarrah Anders for the eARC!
I don’t know how I barely discovered this collaborative series, but I am so glad I did! Tennessee Terrors brings together 10 authors giving us amazing baseball romances. Stealing Bases by Tarrah Anders is book 7 and while each can be read as a standalone, I will definitely be going back and reading the first 6. Each book brings together characters that are fun, flirtatious, and romantic. With all the trope favorites, this series is impossible to not fall in love with.
Chase is the Terror’s starting third baseman and from the outside looking in, he looks like he has it all. Fame, fans, and any person he could want. But his career just provides him with stuff, nothing meaningful. When his best friend’s sister moves to his area, sparks fly. However, she is not only his best friend’s sister, but his best friend, Ethan, is also his agent. He doesn’t want to break Ethan’s trust, but staying away from Skyler isn’t an option.
As their relationship turns into more than just infatuation and real feelings develop, these two ooze chemistry between each other. I was rooting for them from page one and loved how Tarrah navigated their relationship. Their witty banter had me laughing, their romance had me swooning, and their overall story had me devouring this book!
Tarrah wrote a story that tied into the rest of the series seamlessly, while ensuring it still stood apart. This story has everything you will want in a sweet, sports romance.
As always, review any author notes before reading.
What to Expect: ⚾Baseball Romance 🧡Best Friend’s Sister ⚾Childhood Friends to Lovers 🧡Secret Relationship
I read this book last instead of in order because the premise of an overbearing older brother just didn’t pique my interest much, but the other books were so enjoyable I figured this was probably decent. I was wrong. It’s easily my least favorite in the series.
I disliked Ethan from the prologue and my dislike of him exponentially grew with each chapter. I liked the main characters and enjoyed the friends to lovers trope, but Ethan is just too much -especially when there’s NO reason why he’s so up in arms about them getting together. I kept wishing Chase would beat his ass and call it a day. Outside of interfering with Chase and Sky, he’s a rude prick anyway. By chapter 10 (of 40), I started skipping every scene with Ethan because of how unbearable he was. I kept trying to figure out if he had a secret crush on Chase because nothing else made sense. The only upside was that I got through this book pretty quickly by skipping all things Ethan which was a lot considering that even when he’s not on page, the MCs talk about him nonstop.
Between Ethan and Sky’s unnecessary work building creeper character, this book was painful. I almost stopped reading many times, but pushed through because I kept hoping someone would put Ethan in check. When that finally happens, Ethan had the nerve to act like a petulant child because he felt betrayed-for multiple chapters-even though he was also keeping his relationship secret. Gtfoh. That’s when I called it quits and finally stopped reading this book at about the 85% mark. I didn’t care enough to finish it.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
This is the story of Chase and Skylar. He is the Star third basement for the Tennessee Terrors. He loves baseball and is making good money doing what he loves. However, life is not all sunshine and roses like you think it would be for him. His agent Ethan Hale, his childhood best friend. He has helped him so much and calls the shots but only has one rule. His sister Skylar is off limits. Skylar is a very successful Account Manager for a Non-Profit. People would look at her and see a girl who is living her best life. She loves to help people and her job is perfect for her. However, her brother Ethan is a tyrant. Way overprotective which makes her feel like she can't even breathe. He is bound and determined to keep all the men in the world out of her life. These two never paid too much attention to each other growing up. But now as adults there is an attraction there that neither one of them expected. But with Ethan determined to keep them apart do they risk losing a best friend and a brother or do they go for it? You have to read to find that out. I really liked these two characters. They had some great chemistry. Their banter is very entertaining. Their connection is genuine and authentic and you are rooting for them though this book. But boy oh boy did I wanna hit Ethan up the side of the head.
Stealing Bases is another great addition to the Tennessee Terrors series. This is a new to me author but this won't be my last story. I loved these characters and seeing the other characters from previous stories.
Chase is the third baseman for the Terrors. He seems to have it all. But little does anyone know that he is being managed by his longtime friend and agent Ethan. His rule is that his sister, Skylar, is off limits. Skylar is independent and strong. She hates the way her brother is so over-protective of her. When she comes back into Chase's life their chemistry can't be denied. Chase has to make a choice between his friendship with Ethan and his growing attraction to Ethan's sister Skylar.
Chase and Skylar decide to hide their connection but what happens when Ethan finds out? Will Chase follow his heart or lose Skylar?
You will love this story if you love the following tropes: * Friends to lovers * Secret relationship * Best friend's sister * Sports romance
I look forward to more from this amazing author and more from this series.
Thank you to the author for an advanced copy for an honest review.
A sweet romance between best friend’s younger sister/older brother’s best friend.
Chase wasn’t expecting to fall for his best friend’s younger sister. He’s known her nearly all his life but hasn’t seen much of her the last 4+ years. Skylar is all grown up and catches his attention, but they kept getting caught up in awkward moments that get interrupted just before that first kiss. Is fate trying to push them together or keep them apart.
Big brother/best friend and agent, Ethan is an overprotective menace who keeps warming both Chase and Skylar the other is off limits. What Ethan doesn’t know is they’ve been exploring a secret romance and both are falling hard.
This romance is sweet and Hallmark-esque but with some heat. There isn’t a third act breakup and both main characters are mature and able to communicate and carry a relationship. Big brother is the biggest obstacle, but eventually he realizes the hypocrisy of his attitude.
I’m enjoying this multi-author baseball series and look forward to more books in the series.
I received a free ARC from the author and Wordsmith Publicity; and I am voluntarily leaving an unbiased review.
Truly every Tennessee Terrors book has been a 5 star read for me- every author has had a way to pull you into the player, the city and their love story. Chase was no different. Chase may have come from a tough home but thanks to his best friend’s family for signing him up for baseball he made it big. But there was never a time that Skylar, his best friends sister wasn’t in his life but now that she’s moved to town and is grown - he is looking at her in a new way. Skylar works for a company that supports programs and as Chase starts to spend time with her, he donates money to help kids - just like him. What started out as helping and a bonus to spend more time with Skylar makes him realize that he wants more for the first time in his life. Skylar has always had a crush on Chase so now that the attraction is growing she can’t help but want more - but we all know how her brother will feel about it. Not only is he Chases best friend but he is also his agent and very overprotective brother. Can they make it work once they come out of hiding or will it affect Chase professionally and personally?
This was easily a 4.5 star read for me. I hadn't read any other books in this series and honestly didn't feel I was reading a book seven as it worked perfectly well as a standalone. A very steamy but cute sports romance. Wonderful characters who were written truly believably. I loved that the MC didn't let his fame and fortune cloud his vision and was humble, generous, kind and giving. I enjoyed the female MC and was glad of how she stood up for herself. There was enough baseball to make it exciting from a sports perspective and enough sex but it didn't become a book of sex scenes with little bits written around them. This had a real story and I must have loved it since I read it all in the one day. Definitely if you like your sports romances steamier than the showers after the game that the players take, this is one for you. My thanks must go to Tarrah Anders and Wordsmith for my eARC of this book.
Stealing Bases has us going down the path of best friend's little sister trope which is one of my favourites. Chase and Skylar have not seen each other in years but all it takes is one look and the chemistry between these two is like the crack of the bat connecting with the ball. Skylar's brother warns Ethan warns both of them to stay away, to the point of threatening Chase, telling him he just isn't good enough for his sister. Ethan frustrated me and angered me a lot through this story as he had tunnel vision forgetting that his sister was a grown woman. The chemistry and connection between Skylar and Chase was electric and captivating. A story that will have you on the edge of your seat and loving every moment as these two find their HEA and show everyone they are in for the long haul.
Chase may be talented when it comes to his skills on the field, but he also knows that Ethan, his best friend and agent, has played a part in that success. He knows that getting involved with Skylar, Ethan’s sister, could destroy both their personal and professional relationships but the feelings he has for her are unlike anything he has ever felt before.
Skylar loves her brother, but she also wants to forge her own path in life. Although she knows his intentions are well meaning she is feeling stifled, and she isn’t about to let him stand in the way of what she and Chase could have together even if it means keeping him in the dark for now.
The romance between Chase and Skylar was endearing as they find themselves torn between loyalty and love while realizing that the feelings they have for each other aren’t a fling but forever.
I struggled with this book a bit. I felt it skipped a lot from scene to scene and didn’t flow particularly well. Their age difference growing up had it so they weren’t all that close but all of a sudden as adults they just jumped in head first without much detailed character/relationship building. For me it felt rushed, not finished, and disjointed in the timelines. I love me a brother’s best friend trope, but this story just didn’t match the vibe for me though.
Once they get to it, the spice is too much. For me the spice drowns out the plot. It doesn’t really add to the story/their relationship building.
Also, Ethan is a pain in the ass character who I really didn’t enjoy as part of the story even though he was probably meant to be a pain.
I have loved this series so far and I know a lot of people really enjoyed this book- it just wasn’t a match for me.
Sooo darn cute!!! Chase is a professional baseball player. His childhood best friend is his agent and things are about to get complicated. Chase and his best friends sister are spending a lot of time together….and he is smitten. Skylar is sick and tired of her brother being bossy and overprotective….he’s kind of a jerk. She has a thing for Chase and she is going to act on it…damn the consequences. As these two embark on a secret relationship, you have to wonder if this will all work out in the end. Chase and Skylar are beyond adorable together! They have fun banter and hot steamy chemistry. This fast paced read was beyond adorable. I loved These characters soo much. I am really enjoying this series and as each book ends I can’t wait to see what is heading my way next.
Continuing with the Tennessee Terrors, this is the story of the teams third baseman, Chase Thorne. Main trope is Brothers best friend, so it’s a secret romance as Chase and Skylar try to hide their feelings and inevitable relationship from Ethan, Chase’s best friend but also his agent. Skylar, Chase and Ethan all grew up together but Chase didn’t start seeing Skylar in a different light until she recently moved home, and soon they couldn’t keep their hands off each other. Bubbling chemistry and they simply just fit! They both fall hard and fast with no 3rd act breakup! A great read and addition to the series.
I voluntarily reviewed a free advance copy of this book provided by the author. The opinions expressed are my own
So much fun! I have read the other novels in this series and enjoyed them. This novel did not disappoint. From the first chapter this novel captured my attention and held on tight until the last page. I love a sports theme novel where hero is childhood friends with the heroines brother. I love a good secret romance where the hero falls first and falls hard. So much fun! I loved Chase and Skyler's story. Their chemistry was so good! I love a novel with fun banter and dialogue and this novel checked so many boxes for me. I loved watching them fall in love. Once I started reading I had a hard time putting this novel down. I can hardly wait to see what this author has coming next. So much fun!
This is the seventh book in this series, and this is Chase and Skylar’s story. Chase sees to have it all in life, and he is the star third baseman for the Tennessee Terrors, while Skylar is his best friend and agents off limits little sister, who is an account manages for a non-profit organization. When Chase and Skylar cross paths after not seeing each other for years, the sparks fly, but Skylar’s overprotective brother is determined to control her and Chase, to keep them apart. This is an easy-to-read story, with family, friendships, emotions, loyalty, friends / lovers, passion, control, and undeniable chemistry, which leads to an enjoyable, baseball romance. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
This is the 7th book in the series, and it's Chase's turn.
Chase comes from a toxic family but had the luck to find a loving family in their neighbors. The family of his best friend Ethan saw his love for baseball so they paid the fees and all that he needed to be happy playing. Now his still bestfriend is also his agent, so when Ethan's little sister returns to town being a gorgeous woman. One thing leads to another and they start having feelings for each other but Ethan has forbidden any kind of relationship different from sibling's friendship, so they start a secret relationship to see where it goes.
I loved the banter and how Chase & Skylar's relationship grows, but I needed a little bit more of the other players.
This book was so cute a brother's best friend romance, who else would you want to date your sister. But that is not what happened, Ethan the brother of Skylar repeatedly told Chase to stay away from his sister due to the “bro code”, also he didn't think his best friend was good enough for her. But Chase and Skylar kept on getting thrown together by either date or by Ethan, himself. As I was reading this I kept on wondering what City in Tennessee was this fictional baseball team, until the author mentioned some popular places, and I knew it was Nashville. I used to live in Memphis, Nashville and I work in Chattanooga. I have received a complimentary ARC from the author for a fair and honest review
3.5 stars in total for me. While I truly enjoyed the best friend's little sister storyline and I felt Chase and Skylar had a love that was destined to happen, I just could not get past all of the errors when it came to the reason this story was part of the series. The baseball terminology, schedule, rules and regulations had so many errors it was hard to keep going. As a lover of baseball, the draw to reading a series filled with the sport and having that sport wrong left me on edge. If you take the book for just the characters this book would be a complete 5 star read - but unfortunately that was not the case.
Hurray! Another book from the Tennessee Terrors series is here. I was eagerly awaiting Chase to cross the lines with Skylar. But Ethan, Slylar’s brother and Chase’s best friend, proves to be a major stumbling block.
I loved that Chase realises that his relationship with Skylar is different from his previous flings, leading him to take things slower by getting to know her better first as an adult. While they have known each other for the longest time, most of their interactions were as kids or teenagers.
This slower burn made the story more believable but rest assured, if you love a spicy read, you are definitely guaranteed one with this book!
Tarrah Anders' simmering, enchanting sports romance Stealing Bases is filled with the intensity and allure of a clandestine romance. The main character in the book is Chase Thorne, the third baseman for the Tennessee Terrors, who seems to possess everything: success, fortune, and a thriving career. Yet, underneath the carefully maintained surface exists a man whose existence is intricately organized by his closest friend and lifelong representative, Ethan Hale. What’s Ethan's top rule? His younger sister, Skylar Hale, is completely out of reach.
Skylar is successful and independent, working in the nonprofit field and helping those in need. Nevertheless, she feels suffocated by Ethan's excessive protectiveness and constant interference.
Despite their chemistry being obvious, their relationship needs to remain hidden as Ethan constantly monitors Chase's every move and family connections are involved. Especially when emotions are involved, what starts as a secret quickly becomes hard to hide. And when Ethan finally discovers the truth? All wagers are canceled.
Stealing Bases is an essential read if you love taboo romance, intense emotions, and charming athletes who fall for the one girl they can't have.
3.5 Stars This is the sixth book in the multi author baseball romance series. It's Chase the third baseman for Terrors up to bat. Now I'm a girl who loves brother's best friend/best friend's sister romance. I'm not gonna lie this one took me a bit to get into, but once I did I so enjoyed it. Chase and Skylar have a history because Chase has been best friend's with her brother for forever. They walk a very tight rope because of her brother. They are adorable together and they have a deep connection to go along with their chemistry. This is a slow burn in my opinion, but so worth it. They have something special, but is it worth the risk? A good addition to the series!
