I loved the life-like illustrations in this book. The story itself has you wanting to know what comes next! I love seeing the child's perspective of keeping a store.

The cover is a bit off-putting, big-round glasses, but within the story it makes sense--taking after her mother, following what she does, which happens to be math and running the store. Other picture thoughts, bright colors, smiles, togetherness, supportive, sitting and/or playing outside.
