I moved to LA for a fresh start, determined to prove myself as the head coach of the Huskies and straighten out their hothead captain, Jackson O’Reilly.
But I did the worst thing imaginable—I fell in love with supermodel Aurora Embers. Jackson’s ex.
Oh yeah, and I got her pregnant.
Just when I think we have it all figured out and the three of us are moving toward becoming one, it all blows apart.
Jackson falls back into his old habits and struggles to overcome his past, while his father threatens what’s mine. Shacked up with her bodyguard, Aurora graces the runway in New York City with no plans of returning.
And I’m left to piece it all back together.
My job is to win and I’m not accustomed to losing. I’ll do whatever it takes to protect Aurora and Jackson, to make us a family.
Not everyone is as they appear and I’ve got secrets I don’t mind calling upon…
Jessica Lyn is a dark romance author who loves hockey, the mountains, and snow. She lives on the Oregon Coast with her family and a never-ending list of pets. Her stories, initially chart-topping Kindle Vella serials, are influenced by a decade-long career in psych triage. Outside of writing, she's into reading, traveling, crime docs, and a strong cup of tea.
This series is so binge-able. I opened this book at 10pm and couldn’t put it down until I finished the next morning. Jessica does such a great job at highlighting the emotional depth of her characters and keeping readers hooked. I found myself casually crying one minute then giggling and swooning the next! All of her characters are flawed in the best ways, but they have such a feral love that you can’t help but root for. I can’t wait to read the next book!

From the very first chapter, Triple Power Play 2 had me completely hooked. The pacing, the chemistry, and the depth of emotion in this book are all so well done. The character development is chef’s kiss—each of the main characters felt real and layered, and even the side characters are written so vividly that I’m genuinely hoping they get their own stories too.
The dynamic between the characters is addictive, I felt for Jackson in particular—his emotional depth and the moments we get from his perspective really stayed with me.
I also loved that we got multiple POVs—it added so much insight into each character’s mindset and made the story feel even more immersive. And just when I thought I had things figured out, the twists hit! Nothing felt predictable, and I found myself racing through the pages needing to know what would happen next.
There’s an amazing blend of tropes here: found family (my weakness), age gap, surprise pregnancy, and witty banter.
If you love Why Choose with heart, twists, humor, and heat, Triple Power Play 2 is a must-read. I seriously cannot wait for the next book!
Fun fact- the first book in this series was my first ARC read ever, so I knew that I had to jump at the chance of doing another ARC read for the next book in this series.
TPP2 picks up immediately where the first book left off, so if you have not read the first TPP - do yourself a favor and catch up.
This is a why choose hockey romance with dark elements and twists you don’t see coming.
Jackson O’Reilly is a cocky hockey player with a dark past tied to his father. He has a boat load of trauma which then leads him to have a substance abuse problem. In and out of rehab, he falls head over heels in love with Aurora. However, she will not deal with Jackson falling back into his addiction. She wants a better life for her and him.
This wouldn’t be a why choose romance if there weren’t additional people in this relationship and that leads to Ethan who just so happens to be Jackson’s coach. Events transpire within book 1, but throughout book 2, the trio seem to find their way on navigating life and trying to find their own version of normal.
Everything can’t go smoothly or the book would be over before it began. New faces and truths come to light and new threats emerge. It was such a fun and spicy ride! Once I started this one I could not put it down.
Eagerly waiting for book 3!
Tropes: Hockey Romance Why Choose Age Gap Found Family Touch her and die
I’m absolutely obsessed with this series!! I usually have a favourite MMC but I love both Jackson and Ethan equally!
This book picks up straight after book one and the trio have some stuff sort out. Things are not always what they seem though. While they are still trying to find a dynamic that works for them more secrets and threats are being uncovered and also another possible love interest for Aurora?
I love the different relationships between Aurora and her guys but seeing the relationship between Jackson and Ethan getting stronger melts my heart. They are devoted to Aurora and the baby but also lean on each other too. Even if Ethan think Jax is a pain in the ass most of the time.
The spice is spicing in this book, the scenes involving all three especially!! the jolly rancher scene?? 🥵
That ending though?? OMG i can’t wait for book 3!!

Holy Freaking Cow!!!!!! This book was everything I could want and more. I seriously have been desperate and feral for this book since I finished reading the first one a few months ago. The amazing author has been teasing us with quotes and tidbits from each chapter for months now. I have been desperate for it to finally get here and I was not disappointed in the least. I am even more feral for the next installment of this series. I literally devoured this book in just a short amount of time because I could not get enough of these characters and their story. I am in love with this series and these characters. I am going to have to tread very lightly on this review because she gave us so many twist and turns in this book that I don't want to be the person that spoils all the big revelations that happen in this book. Let's just say that the series just got more interesting and also added more intrigue to the story. I seriously did not see all these revelations coming. I knew she had big things in store for us but I was not expecting so many big developments. I have loved and adored Jackson from book one but this book completely solidified his place in my all time favorite book boyfriends category. I just love his golden retriever energy. He is broken in many ways. We learned some backstory on his trauma along with a lot of information on his low down, douche bag dad. My boy Jackson has been through so much trauma. You cannot help but fall in love with his brokenness. He just reaches into your heart and takes it hostage. He has caused Aurora a lot of pain and suffering but some of the things the author reveals in this book, proves that not everything was his fault or within his control. His love, dependency, devotion, and obsession for all things Aurora is chefs kiss. Ethan is the "Daddy" of our group. He is what both Jackson and Aurora need in their lives. He takes care of them in ways they both need. His devotion to helping them both is everything. I was not sure about him at first because I was worried that he would try to separate Jackson from Aurora after she got pregnant. He proved me wrong by being exactly what they both needed. We got to see more of Ethan and Jackson's relationship in this book. The banter between the two of them was entertaining and sweet at the same time. They have really grown as a throuple in this book. The Jolly Rancher scene with them two was fire. Iykyk. I love that they finally embraced their relationships with each other and are finding their rhythm inside and outside of the bedroom. We also got to learn some interesting secrets about Ethan as well. He is more intriguing that we originally saw in book 1. In this book we got to see more of Aurora's mental health issues. She has severe anxiety and abandonment issues. We got to see more of what she has been through in this story. She has formed a bond with her bodyguard and he helps her with her anxiety and is her overall companion when she is lost and alone. He will do anything for her. He is definitely a top notch guy. This story had everything you could want in a book. It had banter, intrigue, lots of spice, fantastic characters, and emotion. If you are looking for a book to keep you entertained look no further.
I cannot get enough of this series! It’s everything I was craving. Hot hockey dudes, hot bodyguards, hottie super model and a whole slew of suspense, romance, and trauma.
This book was amazing in that we get to see a deeper side to Jackson. To be honest I wasn’t his biggest cheerleader and in real life I still don’t know that I would encourage my girl to give him the time of day, but we get to see that his addiction is rooted in something so much bigger than him and he has literally been in survival mode his whole life.
I also was shocked by someone else that was a big player in this story. I won’t be spilling any spoilers though. But know it alone was worth a whole back story (like maybe a novella???).
Ethan is someone I would have been attracted to as well at her age but he definitely has his own demons he needs to work through. The man is horrendous at communicating his feels. 😂 I love him in the dynamic of this book though. He also has some incredible moments that shifted my view of him a bit.
This story brought the first book to whole new level and had me totally wrapped up in their drama and then Jessica went and left us dangling on a cliff lol! I’m now patiently waiting for more answers because I did not see it coming!
The wait was worth it. The wait was torture and had me stalking Jessica Lyn’s socials like a fiend…but it was well worth it because this book was everything I wanted and needed. We aren’t talking about the cliffhanger that Jessica leaves us on because….girl…why do you hate me? But also…I love the torture so keep it coming 🤭 this is the second book in the obsessed players club and you one million percent need to read it before diving into this one. We kick off right where the first book left off and you need all the back story or you will be lost. Plus the first book is just as addicting so it’s a no brainer that you should read it.
We pick back up with Ethan, Jackson and Aurora… my babies…all of them. Jackson…this man needs so much love and about a million hugs. Learning about his backstory and delving deeper into the depravity that he had to endure because of his father had me actually sobbing. Like that painful can’t breathe kind of sob. I know in book one he did some pretty awful things to Aurora…and there’s no excusing that…but when you realise the extent of his trauma, you begin to understand why he did what he did and why to him it felt almost necessary. When you are so deep into your trauma and have nothing else to base your decisions or actions on, you fall back on what you know. And it was all the wrong things. Jackson deep down knew it was wrong…his love and obsessive need for Aurora had him fighting himself on what was right and what was wrong. And even when he knew he was wrong, he couldn’t help himself. It’s not surprising that he fell into substance abuse given his past. But with the help of Aurora and Ethan, he’s finally making headway to be better.
Aurora…precious girl. I related to her way more than I wanted to. As someone who has struggled my whole life with diagnosed severe anxiety and abandonment issues…I could feel her pain radiating off the page. Jessica did such an amazing job really SHOWING the reader that internal struggle rather than just telling you. And I think that’s what makes Aurora such a strong character. That struggle you feel when you want to be calm…you want to trust…you want to believe…but your brain simply will not allow you to. Even when the proof is in front of you. Add in the fact that Aurora is now pregnant, her anxiety and abandonment is through the roof. She’s on edge just waiting for the bottom to fall out with Ethan and Jackson, and the chaos surrounding Jackson’s father.
Ethan….daddy. He’s daddy. Fight me. This man is the glue that holds the three of them together. He’s strong and patient and gives them what they need without them having to ask for it. I loved seeing how Ethan and Jackson’s relationship evolved and grew. Honestly I didn’t know if it would ever happen. I was half expecting Ethan to steal Aurora away once they found out she was pregnant, just to keep her safe from Jackson. But he took a step back and really looked at their dynamic. And realised that without Jackson…there’s no Aurora. And without him…there’s no them. They need each other. And it only works when it’s the three of them together……….for now 👀👀 this harem is growing…I’m looking at you Reece 👀👀
I’m rambling but I can’t help it. I love these characters so much. The spice between them is insane. The JOLLY RANCHER 😩🥵😮💨 if I end up pregnant this summer it’s because of this book. Just saying.
It’s not just about the physical with these characters…we are watching them grow and evolve as individuals and a couple. On top of it all we are still dealing with the insanity of Jackson’s dad and the chaos it’s thrown their lives into.
Like I said…we are left on ANOTHER cliffhanger…Miss mam is a tease and likes to keep us wanting more. And this is no different. I’ll be going back to being an obsessive fiend stalking socials for crumbs until the next book 🙃
Thank you so so so much to Jessica Lyn and Greys PR for the opportunity to ARC read one of my favorite reads of the year! 🩵

Okay damn @authorjessicalyn just destroy me and then put me back together and then leave me hanging for the third book! I felt everything! The representation of PTSD and depression was absolutely spot on and heartbreaking!

This is the second book in this amazing trilogy, and Ethan, Jackson, and Aurora face the challenges to their relationship. Jackson is battling with his past and his father’s threats, and he is determined to prove that he is worthy of Ethan and Aurora’s trust and love. This is a well written easy to read, fast paced story, with found family, friendships, emotions, why choose, scandals, touch her and die vibes, second chances, secrets, trust, revelations, humor, witty banter, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, tragic, and unpredictable, addictive page tuner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
Triple Power Play 2 is the second book in the Obsessed Players Club Series. It is a dark, why choose, accidental pregnancy, age-gap, second chance, hockey romance with all the feels.
This series has got me, hook, line, and sinker. I'm addicted! Aurora, Jackson, and Ethan have a rough road ahead of them. There are some big time changes and challenges headed their way.
This book is packed full of danger, intrigue, mystery, big time secrets, betrayal, steamy steam, and so much more. I loved the part that mental health played in the story. I loved how mental health issues were recognized and dealt with. I loved the character growth and relationship growth and development in this book. I also very much loved how Aurora's men are so jealous and possessive with her.
I adore the relationship between Jackson and Ethan. I love the dynamic that the two have. I love how they come together to protect Aurora, and just how far they are each willing to go to keep her safe. I also fell in love with Ricky, Aurora's bodyguard. He is a real caretaker. I loved how he dotes on and spoils Aurora.
IMO this was a terrific, Must Read book. The writing, flow, and pace made for an easy read. The characters, character development, relationship development, storytelling, storyline, plot, and world building were all amazing. I would absolutely recommend this book and series. I am very excited to see what comes next for these incredible characters.
The story continues and mannn did Jessica throw some twists in there. Aurora, Ethan, and Jackson continue trying to navigate their love triangle, surprise pregnancy, and growing careers. It feels so right, but with secrets coming out into the open, family drama, Jackson in recovery, and possibly a new love interest to add to the harem, things are just starting to get interesting.
I didnt expect the story to turn in this dangerous direction!! Between that, the plot twists, and the spice🥵, I couldnt put it down. We're really getting into each characters head in this book. I feel so bad for Jackson, he's really struggling with his past trauma. I'm so glad he has Ethan as a friend and role model! Dare i say father figure? Is that weird? Lol Ethan is so mature and always knows how to handle the situation. Aurora is indeed a spoiled, lucky lady 🖤 THE JOLLY RANCHER SCENE🤤 absolutely mouth watering. Jessica left us with quite the cliffhanger! I cant wait to see what happens in book 3.
•Multiple POVs •Hockey romance •Why choose •Pregnancy •Touch her and die! •Mental health rep •Age gap / second chance •Found family •Secrets
I don’t even know where to begin. This is the second book in the series, so I was already highly invested in the lives of our 3 MC’s, Jackson, Aurora and Ethan. Now throw Ricky into the mix and I’m like, what the actual?
The story continues where we left off with Jackson having messed up royally, Ethan is ready to kill him but still wants to help him and Aurora is in New York, completely distraught. The dynamic between them completely changes for the first part of the book (due to the events at the end of book 1 – no spoilers)and I am kinda here for it as it helps us see if Jax is gonna step up or make it all worse.
There are more secrets uncovered in this second instalment and when I say the twists had me gasping, I am not kidding. Jessica clearly lives to torture us with the tension and suspense she has created in this book. There is more openness about Jackson and Ethan’s back stories, which had me gripped because now I know what they have been through I can understand Jax’s behaviour to an extent and see why Ethan is so protective over them both.
We discover more about Kyle and yes, we still hate him with a screaming passion. However, there is now a lot more to this story and when your plot requires a bad guy, you might as well make him the vilest waste of oxygen possible
As I mentioned before, the twists in this one had me shouting what the f**k at my kindle and it ends on yet another cliff-hanger, I nearly threw it across the room.
Yet again the spice in this book is top tier and just gets better as we go along. The dynamic between Jax, Ethan and Aurora in the bedroom shifts considerably in book 2, after all, they say sharing is caring.
I cannot wait for book 3. There is so much more I want to say in this review because I cannot get over just how affected I am by the way this story is playing out, but I don’t want to spoil it for anyone. All I can say is, if you like throuples, secrets, hockey and mafia elements, you need to read this.
✨ARC Review✨ Triple Power Play 2 by Jessica Lyn Rating:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 Spice Rating:🌶️🌶️🌶️.5/5
📚 My Thoughts: I was excited to start this book. Especially since the first book leaves off on a cliffhanger. Once I started I was hooked I couldn’t put it down. We got to see each character grow especially with their trauma. I feel so bad for Jax and his trauma 😢. I love Aurora and her growth and the way she defends herself. Ethan is everything the way he cares for Aurora and Jax 🤭 I love the banter between Jax and Ethan. I like how we also got Ricky POV as well I liked how he was so caring for Aurora and protective of her. The ending I didn’t see that coming at all. The book does leave off on a cliffhanger so I’m excited for the third book to come out.
💌Thank you to Jessica Lyn & Grey’s Promotions for the Arc💌

I don’t know about this. The story was good but I feel like the FMC keeps being referred to like she is a child which is weird. She also is a flirt and makes it feel like she doesn’t care much for the MMCs. I want to like this story but the more I read it, the more I feel like the FMC is a helpless maid who needs everyone’s attention at all times or she will pout.

This picks up exactly where Book 1 ends (so definitely read that first!), and wow… I’m really hurting for Jackson. He’s such a mess...his past, his present...it’s all heartbreaking, and I just want to wrap him in a hug.
Aurora has been through it, too, but her connection with Jackson is undeniable. And her connection with Ethan? Also undeniable. What makes this even more intense is that Ethan knows there’s no him and Aurora without Aurora and Jackson. That awareness adds so much depth to the dynamic between all three of them. They all need each other. They all have a specific void that they fill in the others. They don't work unless they're all together...or is there still a blank space that needs to be filled?
Together, they continue navigating this complicated new life and relationship, trying to build a future while still battling the chaos and trauma that comes with Jackson’s father. We also get more insight into Ethan’s family and the introduction of Reese, which I’m super excited about!
Just when you think the tension and drama are calming down, they spike again. And now I’m left desperate for Book 3. Waiting for the conclusion is going to be painful.
Thank you, Jessica and Greys Promotion for the ARC.
*Reverse Harem *Contemporary *Multi-1st-PoV *Insta-Love *Dark Themes *Hockey Romance *Second Chance Romance *Pregnancy *Building Harem (3) *Fast Burn *Book 2/3 Drama, tension, and possessive men 😍 Holy heck this book moves fast, you just strap in for the ride and enjoy it the way Aurora does 😜 there are plenty of dramatic and emotional moments interspersed with the spicy 🌶️ scenes to keep you reading! It starts immediately in the aftermath of the perceived betrayal by Jax and the repercussions of this! However you begin to learn the true depravity of what he’s been through and you see him opening up to Aurora and Ethan - it’s so heart warming to see him find a true family 🥰 Ethan really steps up in this book as well leading his two brats through what Kane is trying to through their way. It was really interesting to see the ‘secrets’ of his family as well and the impact they could have then there’s Ricky the caring bodyguard who’s been by her side through it all…there’s definitely some feelings going on there 😍 but there’s a lot more to him that gets revealed in this book - it’s gonna cause a few explosions 💥 this has a right old cliffhanger ending and I can’t wait for the next one to see how that all unravels 🙈
4 stars & 4 spicy peppers. The messiest V-triad to ever MFM continues on their path of chaos in this second installment of Triple Power Play.
Picking up right where the cliffhanger that book 1 left readers on, the raw emotionality of the fallout of those last moments digs its claws in. Aurora is once again resetting the pieces of her broken heart but this time the pieces just don’t seem to fit. Alone in NYC with her bodyguard Ricky, the two become closer as he helps her heal by taking care of her. Eventually Ricky’s POV is added to the mix of multiple POVs, further complicating the story and their lives. Ethan and Jax’s buddy bromance grows to new heights as once again Ethan provides the stability Jax desperately needs. The trio solidifies their situationship both in the bedroom (and the backseat, hello Jolly Rancher scene) and together at Aurora’s OB appointment. While outside forces attack their attempted peace, the trio tries to open up to each other more while the pressure to get on the same page for their future rises. Still they’re keeping secrets from each other and are still a long ways from consensus. By the time you’re left on this cliffhanger their future has never felt more unpredictable.
Buckle up puck bunnies, if you thought book 1 was wild, book 2 says, "hold my beer." Ethan and Jax share the same “sins of the father” family baggage theme and this story only gets heavier from there, but still the delicious tropes, vibes, and banter from book 1. My only minor critique is that where Aurora was a strong, independent career upstart in book 1, her character becomes bogged down with the damsel in distress and every man’s dream girl tropes in this story. She’s veering a little too perfect/every man’s ideal. On multiple occasions she’s firmly a “stand by man” girl — even when said man is the instigator of vicious violence. Additionally, she’s pitted against another female character to further illustrate her infinite desirability. Her best moments are the unflinching portrayal of her anxieties, however she literally becomes a wilting flower, fainting no less than 3 times directly into the arms a strong, strapping man. Her identity is largely reduced to her pregnancy sickness and her relationship with her men. I hope that in book 3 we can see the balance of her embracing her soft girl side and her neediness but still being a capable adult in her own right.
The men really shine in this story, from their charming playful bickering with each other, to their endearing, if unhinged, obsession for their girl. Despite this being the guys’ story, they still have their flaws, for example, what is their actual plan for this baby? Any real family planning continues to take a backseat to their chaotic lifestyle. No amount of excitement for fancy sonograms or declarations to Aurora of “you’re mine” (Ethan) or “I’ll never let you go” (Jax) actually amounts to being ready to have a baby. Despite having no shortage of resources —how much real estate can 3 people go through?— this trio remains comically unprepared for parenthood. So you know book 3 is gonna be a wild ride. And you know they'll find their way because if there's one thing this trio has in abundance, it is love for each other.
The writing remains superb, which is why despite their many shortcomings, red flags, and bad decisions you continue to want to root for this group. And you don’t necessarily want them to fix all of their messiness either, after all their mess is part of their charm. (Even still could someone please read a baby book?) There’s some longer pieces of exhibition here, but the writing is still compellingly of the “show” and not “tell” variety.
Overall, while this story diminishes Aurora a bit, it is equally as bingeable as book 1 but with higher stakes, charming new side characters, and a bromance for the ages. Highly recommend for lovers of emotionally-driven stories featuring delicious heroes who are more red flag than human.
At this point, I don’t know if I have enough words to declare the love I have for this series. The swoon be swoonin’ and the spice be spicin’ and I just can’t get enough.
I live for some toxic, possessive, forbidden MCs okay? I shall accept no judgement 🥵 why choose? More like how could she choose!?! Jax is bae and Ethan is daddy (iykyk). I can’t handle them. Men written by women will always be superior 💯 I love how their relationship is evolving and growing, the understanding of their roles and the love they all share. It’s just everything. And while the smexxy romance is the forefront, them background plot twists got me like 👀
AND LISTEN. The scream I scrumpt at that ending. I’m so done. Where are the emotional support jolly ranchers? Jessica, I’m lookin’ at you.
“I love you more than life itself. You’re the light to my darkness, the only thing that keeps me fighting the demons in my head.” Tears prickle my eyes. “I’ll spend the rest of my life making up for those sleepless nights and the days you didn’t feel like enough. I promise you.” 😭
From the very first chapter, Triple Power Play 2 had me completely and utterly hooked.
The pacing, the tension, the chemistry was all so well done. I’m usually not a huge fan of love triangles, but this one? This is exactly how I like them. A why choose style.
Aurora, Ethan, and Jackson are back and navigating even more chaos than before. They have a pregnancy, career highs, emotional lows, and secrets that pack a punch you won’t see coming.
The dynamic between these characters is addictive, and the banter between them? Simply hilarious. Ethan and Jackson’s banter is always hilarious and perfection. I was racing through the pages needing to know what happened next. I just never knew what happened.
Since book one, I’ve always had a soft spot for Jackson. Then this book made me feel even more protective over him. He’s struggling with so many things and then add in emotional depth Jessica Lyn gives him is so real.
Ethan continues to be the steady anchor, and dare I say it…… almost a father figure? But he’s exactly what Aurora need in her corner
The multiple POVs (yes, even the surprise ones) were exactly what I wanted and loved! Nothing about this felt predictable. I was constantly messaging Jessica with theories, only to be completely thrown by every twist. Poor Jessica was probably annoyed with me. Ha!
And THE JOLLY RANCHER SCENE?? Still not over it. I want more of that! Boy did my mind go wild with this one.
This series is pure binge material. This even had me wanting to cry a points. Now I’m impatiently waiting for book 3. Because I have to know what is going to happen after the cliffhanger we are left with!
Thank-you to the lovely Jessica for allowing me to be apart of her street team and getting to read this book as an ARC.
I enjoyed book 1 but book 2 was it !!
The spice was 🥵👀 The plot was plot’n The emotional growth finally came through all characters
We not only got to see the characters grow together but also individually with each of their traumas. You’d think this may be weird but they complete level each other out and have a bond that seems to work. I am just waiting for the day Jax and Ethan say they love each other lol
Jax my poor baby 😢😢😢 I want to protect him even more than the last book.
Aurora is growing on me even more especially how she has more of a backbone now. Telling of Emily thank god!!!
Daddy Ethan is perfectly flawed and is perfect for Jax/Aurora but at the same time just what he needs in return. Ethan provided stability they never had and the two in return allow Ethan to enjoy life and not be so serious all the time.
Ricky/Reece 🙄🙄 he’s slimy and I hope he doesn’t penetrate into that relationship.
But can we talk about that ending.. that last sentence !!!!
I cannot wait until book 3. This was a great second book and this is why I gave it a 5 star.
This book picks up from book 1 so they need to be read in order.
Jackson has hit rock bottom and wrecked everything. Aurora wants to move to NY and leave it all behind. Ethan will not let that happen. And everything with Jackson may not be as it seems. Add in a new layer to the trio dynamic and I am 👀🥰🫠!!
These books are mind games! And I am here for it. The story weaves and entraps you until you need to see what happens! Possessive, obsessed with her, soft only for her all checks but what I wasn’t expecting some suspense and surprises.
This review is general because you need to read it to feel it.
Gimme that hockey romance mixed with MFM romance and a bit of a suspense plot, and I'm going to eat that ish up.
Ethan is Daddying. Jackson is growing. Aurora is living the dream.
and Ricky? I might love him the most, which gave me some conflicting feelings.
you're going to love this series if you love messy relationships inside and outside of the triad, shitty parents, hockey players and coaches, and a good pregnancy trope.
I have no words. Like I am actually speechless. This book was absolute perfection. Triple Power Play 2 picks up directly after the first book. And boy do you get thrown into some sh!t right away. Within these pages we go through pain, heartbreak, true love, anger, jealousy… I am reeling! Not only are you graced with some incredible MMF spicy scenes, but this plot is downright illegal. Jax, Ethan & Aurora are subjecting to some pretty horrible circumstances, but as long as they are together they can take on the world. These characters truly bring out the best in each other. Between the mental illness rep and Ethan with his loyalty to both Aurora and Jax, I was a goner from page one. Scratch that, the first book had me strung. I am so very grateful I was able to read this as an ARC. I couldn’t put this book down. And that cliffhanger might actually be the death of me. I am on edge and antsy as hell to get my hands on the next book! Special shoutouts to Desi and Dante. These characters were great additions to read about 😉
I love these characters! Ethan and Jax grow so much, especially Jax. I don't want to spoil anything, so I will just say you will feel ALL of the feels. Jax is very toxic in the first book, but you learn a lot of the back story and witness so much growth if you still dont like him..idk what to say. You're able to gain more of an understanding of everyone, especially Ethan, and see why they all make so much sense together ❤️. There are a lot of heavy moments, but the banter and 🔥 even it out nicely.
kindle: 2.5⭐️ rounded to 3, if only because it’s exactly what you would expect as a sequel to the first book. I do think I enjoyed it more but I don’t think that’s because it was necessarily any better, i was just a bit more invested lol
The anticipation for this book was high. So much to unpack and So much happens. Things are definitely not what they seem, and secrets hide around every corner. The heat is off the charts, the chemistry is so good, and if everyone can figure out how to live together without killing each other? What an accomplishment. This story will suck you in and not let you go. You need to know more. One request? Can I please get a body guard of my own?
How to write a review without spoilers… This is hard because all I want to do is SCREAM about this book! It is SOOOOOO good. I was curious how book 2 would continue with the way book 1 ended. And let me just say… I am NOT mad about it 😉 This book is 🥵🔥 - - HIGHLY RECOMMEND - - Jessica has done it again and left me hanging… I cannot wait for book 3!!!!
If you love Sport Romance, Hockey for this one. You will LOVE this book. Please read book 1 before book2 a this is not a series you can skip ahead. Check the trigger warns and please note, the spice is SPICY
THERES SOMETHING ABOUT THIS THAT GOT ME HOOKED! Hooked on and deeply immersed in the crazy world of Jackson, Ethan, Aurora, and others in TPP2 and what a ride, all I can say is..Play on!
E BOOK REVIEW 📖 ✨Triple Power Play 2 Author Jessica Lyn! 5:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Unbelievably Good // 4:🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️Super hot!
Jackson the hot unhinged Hockey Athlete, Ethan the Smoldering Dominating Coach, Reece the Viking looking bodyguard /secret agent and Aurora the young beautiful supermodel ..this is their Story!
The last time the story left me gripping my heart wondering what kinda mess Jackson landed himself in and could he ever get Aurora and Ethan to believe in him.
It’s so obvious that Jackson has a past trauma that is triggering but the love he has for Aurora… whew this guy may be Morally grey and messed up two ways to Sunday but one thing is clear, Aurora is his sanity his light and now despite everything so is Ethan. But Jax was obviously set up .. by his dad.. and someone else..
However..the moment Ethan learned more about his hockey player life … the one he never envisioned becoming more to him than he ever imagined. He somehow has accepted Jackson as his.. and getting to the bottom of Jaxson failing and getting him back into Aurora good graces is top of his list.
But Jackson and Aurora are the oxygen he breathes , however, as their world is threatened, there’s nothing Ethan will do to stop that threat from happening.
Not everyone is as they appear and I’ve got secrets I don’t mind calling upon… For them, I’ll do anything.
🖤 🩵 🩶 Listennnn! This book has me on edge from the first installment, now I’m in a chokehold in this second book as the story ramps up, as there’s another whose heart is becoming entangled and how that may play out and changes the dynamic is any one’s guest!
But as this ramped up and they were all focused on safety their world is about to get more complicated and confusing as a bombshell of epic proportion was revealed. Stay tuned..
I only hope I won’t wait too long for the next installment as author Jessica Lyn has me completely hooked.!
But .. Oh Jeez , Jackson and Ethan are my newest obsession and a third may be making that list soon!
THIS.IS. A. MUST.READ! Absolutely 💯 recommend. Period.

📚✨ REVIEW ✨📚 Triple Power Play 2 by Jessica Lyn ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 (4.5/5 stars)
Jackson will do anything to win Aurora back... again. He knows his father orchestrated his most recent relapse and leaked the photos of him with other women. He’d never cheat on Aurora, the center of his obsession.
But Aurora can’t get past the hurt. She flees LA for NYC with her bodyguard, Ricky, determined to focus on her career and prepare for motherhood.
Meanwhile, Ethan is desperate to fix the fractured throuple. He never planned to fall for Aurora and Jackson, but now he can’t imagine a future without them. To put his family back together, he must face a past he’s long kept hidden.
I am gone for this series! It has everything I crave: romance, hockey, suspense, and just the right dose of violence (definitely check trigger warnings!!). My favorite part? The found family dynamic. Jackson, Ethan, and Aurora are three broken souls with trauma-filled pasts who somehow form a fiercely devoted family. The evolving bond between Jackson and Ethan especially had me hooked, and I cannot wait to see what comes next for them.
The biggest surprise for me was the suspenseful plot. I wasn’t expecting things to get so action-packed, but I’m certainly not mad at it! Honestly, I’d love for the series to lean even deeper into the suspense.
If you love fast-paced, dark, why choose hockey romance, this series belongs on your TBR.
