Unconventional love story that starts out with Ada becoming a widow left with no penny and 4 children much to her husband’s delight. Her husband, though rich, left his wealth to his sister and his wife and children with nothing.

This compels Ada to take the proposal of a contract marriage Wande presents to her, after her first refusal and desire not to be tied to another man ever again. Survival is the goal.

Wande needs a nurturing figure in the life of his daughter who was ill treated by her previous guardian leading to stunted development and his son, who is bereft of motherly and fatherly affection.

They come together to form a blended family and try to make it work. First, apart and later together, with Ada’s constant pressure on Wande.

What started out as just an arrangement develops into attraction, love and friendship.

Great read!
