This is a behind-the-scenes tale of the development of atomic energy and the atom bomb. No detail is spared. Never-before-known activity is revealed. Multiple connections are evident, as is a more global involvement in weapons development.

Post-bomb stories are included, and the great impact on mankind is evident. This puts a different spin on World War II since we now see both sides, and the true horror of the atom bombs.

You may, as I did, discover that your own family was involved, if only peripherally, in this rush to create the ultimate bomb.

Has to be one of the best audiobooks out there. With over 500 "voices" adding narrative to such a grandiose and world changing, story it was nothing short of miraculous. A must read.
