This is romantic suspense with a twist of the supernatural. It's works well as suspense--I ddn't see the ID of the villain until revealed. That's unusual for me. I usually tend to have it figured out. The author, Kaylie Newell, writes in a slow, dreamy way that works, even though it lacks the sense of urgency present in most suspense books. Personally, I like the etheral pace and language. I enjoy this book and will be following it up soom with the other two books in the trilogy. Erica Sullivan, the narrator, did an excellent job with the characterizations. 4.5 stars
