Janae Jackson lives her life unapologetically. People are gonna think what they want, so she chooses to live with no regrets. Let ‘em talk! While her best friend is hopelessly in love, she wants no part of it. Money is the motive, and love doesn’t pay any bills.
After the love of his life left him at the altar, Wisdom Graham swore he’d never return home, however, a major opportunity puts him right back in Jonah Hills. He wasn’t looking for love, but when the fiery, outspoken beauty steps into his life, he finds himself smitten.
Past relationships and family secrets are exposed, threatening to destroy everything they’ve built. Will Janae allow Wisdom to prove her wrong about love or will the trauma from her past keep her running from the very thing she needs?
Please be aware that this is a rerelease. This book was previously released under the same title,
3/5 ⭐️ - Wise and Janae’s connection was so undeniable and I love how Wise was her protector from the beginning to end of this book. If you love a touch her and you die type of vibe, you’ll really love this book because soooo much happens!! - This book was repetitive at times, but I couldn’t definitely tell how incredible of a writer this author is and can’t wait to read more of her books!! - Really loved seeing Janae go from being so closed off to opening up and loving/trusting. Wise was so patient and loved seeing the duality of his strong character, but completely melting when it came to his girl!
Kami!! Girl, I am ready to track you down, so I can hand deliver these flowers! You did the damn thang, and I am still in awe of this story, and the Graham family! ❤
I loved Justice, I admired Loyal, but Wise baby is top tier! The eldest Graham son was the quiet one, the observer, the deep thinker; and in my opinion the one with the biggest heart. When they lost their mother, he stepped up to help with his brothers while his dad grieved, but who was looking out for him? When he did find some semblance of normalcy, he “thought” he found love, only to be devastated when she did the unthinkable! So, he removed himself from town, leaving everything he knew to get his life together. Moving back home was bittersweet, but he still held some trauma from his past, that he needed to resolve. Love was not an option. 😥
Janae! Ma’am, one would never have known all that you have gone through by the way you live your life. Carefree, unapologetic, bold, but without love. I was gutted you hear me, when things began to unfold about Janae’s life, and her upbringing. She was failed by everyone in her family! 💔 Them damn family secrets man! Ughhhhh….. 🤬 How could she love, when those who were supposed to love and care for her, allowed “those” things to happen! Yet she persevered, and made a life for herself, the best way she knew how.
When Wise met Janae, he instantly knew there was something special about her that called to him. He could see through her façade and knew that there was pain hidden deep inside. He knew that she would be trouble, but he couldn’t stay away. Janae felt exposed when she was near Wise. She felt he could see her scars and all the trauma, that she was hiding from the world.
The patience, support, and understanding that Wise displayed as he befriended Janae was so beautiful. He broke down her walls, and debunked all the reasons she felt she was unworthy of love. Janae, a natural nurturer, relished in the caring and genuine acts that Wise showed her, making her do what she thought she could never do; fall in love.
I love, love, love the Graham family! What an amazing read! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
This one took a while for me to get into the story. I liked it better, closer towards the end of the story. I do not have any major issues, I just did not connect to the story as I usually do with this author. Something was missing.
I absolutely love all the Graham men and Wise was just as lovable. Wise and Nae are both running from love. Wise was left at the alter and closed his heart. Nae has a trash ass grandmother and a few other relatives which has caused her to be cold. Nae had a tough exterior but Wise saw the pain in her and wanted nothing more than to make her smile. I loved seeing Wise and Nae fall in love with each other. She finally got her own happily ever after.
The revenge kill was absolutely chef kiss and couldn’t have been better. It’s sad to see this series end hopefully we get some wedding specials in the future
There’s so much I want to say lol 😂 but leave it up to me it’ll be a longgg paragraph!
This book was so beautifully written …. Omg 🥹🥺❤️🩹💗 Had me all in my feelings, pulling my heart strings and all … more so because I resonate with Janae in so many ways 😩❤️! Glad she let him show her how to let a man love you properly..
Now I love all the Grahams man, wheeeew 😊🔥🤎🖤🩶 all of em are chef kiss*💋 But it’s something about Wise!!! 🥹😩😩😍😍 top all of em for me lol 😂😍😍 Love that man down!! 😭❤️❤️❤️ love how he was so patient with her! And the family dynamics and friendships! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🥰
Now Kami has been doing her damn thing !!!🙌🏾🙌🏾💐💐 Majority of hers are 10/10 ⭐️’s in my book! She still continues to amaze me 😊🤎 Now Im going to miss the Grahams 🥹😩, Can’t wait to see what’s next! 🙌🏾💗
One thing for sure is I loved these Graham men! And Wisdom Graham is that man! After going through a heartbreak years ago Wisdom makes his way back home and a lot changes for him once he crosses Janae’s path. If read Loyal’s book you get to see some things unfold that gives us a little story on Janae.
Janae I love her my heart just ached for her. I just wanted to hug her throughout the whole book. But Wise was everything she needed and more. They built a friendship cause my girl did not think she had a heart to give she was so broken. But Wise was patiently Waiting and would go to war for my girl. I also love Ciyani and Janae’s friendship they had each other through the good bad and definitely ugly! Them to was some crybabies 😂. If you love the previous Grahams you’re going to love Wisdome Graham!
I absolutely loved this book! I made the mistake of reading this book only to realise that this was the last book in the series! So I will be going back to book one.
I loved Janae & Wise. The way Wise just stood by his woman, cared for her and defended her, especially in her most vulnerable moments.
Janae, under all the tough exterior is a woman who dreams big and loves hard. She was failed earlier on in her life by those around her , so I am so happy that she was able to grow a found family.
The Grahams are one of my fave fictional families & I can’t wait to read more of this series.
This is my first time reading Kami’s books. She is a beautiful writer! So I am running to read the rest.
Fave character: Janae/Wise Least Fave Character: KJ & both Janae’s Grandma’s Emotional rating: 😢😢😢 Smut rating: 🌶️🌶️🌶️.75 Fluff rating: 💕💕💕💕💕
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
These Graham men are after my heart I swear. I knew I was gonna love Wisdom from the first introduction of him. He is finally back home after dealing with a tough break up and grieving the loss of his mom. An unexpected woman peaks his interest. Her close proximity to his family leads to an unexpected friendship and sparks fly. Janae is a firecracker. She is best friends with Ciyani from Made For You. Her heart has been hardened due to past trauma. She never thought it would begin to thaw until she starts spending time with very reserved Wisdom Graham.
The friendship built between these too was so pure that I couldn’t help but root for them. I found myself yelling at Janae in this book telling her to let Wisdom love on her and don’t hold back. It was great to read the many dimensions to Wisdom’s character as situations happen throughout the book. Wisdom is the star of this book and I absolutely loved him. It’s sad that the Graham’s story is coming to an end but I know for sure whatever Kami has coming after them is gonna be 🔥🔥🔥
This was really good. I was really mad about what happened to Janae in the past but when it ALL came out I was floored. I love seeing families heal. Wisdom demanded respect for his woman and everyone else had to fall in line. Those Graham brothers are something special 🩷
I have been waiting on Wisdom's story. My boy needed a happily ever after. Janae thought she could hide her scars by holding it all in. She was a thug and a sweetheart. She finally released that hurt with the help of Wisdom.
It's a good read! It was written very well but lagged some. A few things were repetitive and just worded differently. I love good sex scenes, but I skipped a few because there were so many. Wise and Janae both deserved happiness after all of the trials they've been through, and I'm happy they found it with each other! I would recommend it along with the rest of the Graham's books!
There are so many thoughts going through my head about this one. So many layers to this story. It let me share a few things:
Wisdom “Wise” Graham was definitely the silent pressure cooker. He spoke its authority and maturity. He played around with the fam but he didn’t play with anybody else. Wise was about his business and what he put his mind to he got. Sam goes for Janae.
Janae called herself dealing with men and their egos in a certain way. She was know to be promiscuous and none of the females really rocked with her except Ciyani , Jalisa, and her cousin Dream. I knew she had a tough exterior but a soft interior. I could tell he was protecting herself with how she would speak about love and not allowing anyone in. But Wise eased right on in and showed her a thing or two.
The friendship that they developed was definitely what I enjoyed. Wise had a goal and he executed it perfectly. He applied some serious pressure to my girl Janae but she knew he was different than anyone else she’s come crossed paths with. He didn’t lie to her and he didn’t use her like everyone other man. He showed her what respect looked like and I am glad she came to her senses. The Graham men showed up and showed out for their fam (Janae included). I loved how they came to protect Janae and the heart to heart she had with Messiah and Loyal’s crazy selves meant a lot and it warmed my heart. I loved that for Janae.
Wise saw the value and the worth in Janae even when she didn’t see it completely. She always felt like she didn’t deserve someone like him and that he would be better off with someone else. But can we say dedicated to the cause? Wise knew she was it for him. She was saved just for him and only he could bring out the diamond in the ruff. Wow!!!
I loved this story and felt that I got a great ending to the series. Of course I want to ask for a novella for Renegade and Charity but I will not be mad if that never happens. Kami did us a sold with this one and all the Graham men. I truly loved this story.
I can't believe that this is the end of the road. There were more than a few stories and characters to get to know. You saw the chart 😉 We read the book!
I think this was probably one of my favorites next to Rule's story.
Everyone just saw the party girl(s) but were too busy or didn't bother looking deep enough to understand why they (Janae and their cousin were acting out.
Big brother Wisdom was an observer. I simply loved his character. Level of patience and understanding.
S/N Janae's back story didn’t really line up for me. I get the why she acted out. However if her father was a Kingpin why where her and her sister boosting? How was she and her bestie even able to have been friends? Seems like they wouldn't even been in the same school or circle 🤔.
I did, however, love their love.
Her parents actions were a little to little to late but I was happy to see that they cared and things were as black and white as she thought.
"’ll be your protector, your problem fixer, and head doctor today and forever. I love you more than any words I could write on a piece of paper, so I guess I’ll just have to show you with my actions. Forever and always, Wisdom" ❤️
Genre: Urban Romance Spice Level:🌶🌶 Possible Triggers: sexual assault ,child abuse, emotional abuse grief
I said what I said and as always: don't take my word for it. Read the book, form your own opinions, and support your authors!
Whew, this one was everything! Wise came through with so much strength, patience, and that quiet kind of power that makes you melt. He’s truly Janae’s ride-or-die, and I love that they were friends before lovers—it made their bond feel real and unshakable.
Love ain’t easy, and this story showed just how messy, hard, and beautiful it can be. Janae went through some heavy trauma, and peeling back those layers really explained why she built her walls so high. The Graham family’s support was felt on every page. They embraced Janae with a love so deep it wrapped around her like a safe haven, showing her that love could be soft, healing, and real. They didn’t just show up—they took accountability for past hurt and poured into her like only true family can, proving that blood isn’t the only thing that makes you kin.
And baby… when I tell you these Graham men don’t play about their women or their proposals? 😮💨 Whew! They love hard, they love bold, and they make sure the whole world knows it. By the end, you’re left reminded that the right kind of love doesn’t just break down walls—it rebuilds you, piece by piece, into something even stronger.
Just that fast Wise has become my favorite Graham. I have to say I'm sad this is the last Graham family book, I have loved getting to know this family, experiencing the love and loyalty and laughing at their foolishness. With that said, Kami clearly decided to save the best for last.
I loved Wise and Nae, individually and together. Two people essentially closed off from love until they fell in love with each other. I really wanted to give Janae a hug, and I appreciated Kami's commentary on the how Black families treat girls through telling her story. How they sometimes place blame on us while protecting those who cause us harm. We got a peek of this during Loyal's book, but hearing Nae's entire story was heartbreaking. The patience and care Wise had when dealing with Nae was EVERYTHING. Like he knew she was it for him and literally told her he would wait for her to catch up....it didn't take her long to get on the same page.
My favorite part of this story was the sisterhood/friendship between Nae and all the girls, but especially Ciyani. They rode for each other. I could feel how genuine the love and appreciation for them was. Sisterhood is such an important part of being a Black women so seeing that portrayed so beautifully. So authentically.
Make sure you pay attention to the TW, there is violence and SA discussed on page. Overall I loved this one and again I'm sad to be saying goodbye to the Grahams but I'm excited to read whatever Kami has coming next!
Mannnn, Kami knows how to right a book. Sis pen has not disappointed once since I started the Graham brothers. Wisdom and Janae store was so good. There was a lot of drama in this one, like the first book. The drama in this one though was top tier lol. Big Daddy Wise was everything. I loved how rugged and romantic he was. The man screams BDE, and was delivering just that too. I loved the relationship between the Graham men, they are some straight fools but the love they have for each other is unmatched. Even the girls chemistry is everything, I just love how close knit they are. I loveee me some Granny Lula. She was so full of wisdom but didn’t have any filter. She had my mouth on the floor when she brought up the sex talk and toys lmaooo.
That Kj and her grandma Jeanette really wasn’t shit. They were so foul and dirty for how they did Janae and her dad, Keso.
Wisdom Graham is officially THE FAVORITE Of the family. Wisdoms words and his actions with how he pursued and loved Janae had my emotions overflowing . Kami’s heart shines with every word that Wisdom speaks to Janae. The scene about the 100 dollar bill will always play in my mind forever because it really spoke to me . So many of us feel unworthy of love because of things sad or done to us in the past. Janae was so relatable and I felt her pain. What I also loved is the beautiful friendship/sisterhood between Janae and Ciyani. Kami never disappoints!!! This book was beautifully written and executed!! Kami has definitely become one of my favorite authors!!
Sometimes all you need is someone to really see you in order to grow. That’s what Wise did for Janae. He knew upon their first encounter that she was it for him. He was patient, attentive, and understanding. He didn’t judge her about her past and listened when the depths of her trauma were exposed. He was a man okay! Now Nae was unapologetically herself, but you could also tell that some of the bravado was a front. I’m glad Loyal and Messiah apologized to her because some of their comments were too judgmental. The heart to heart with her dad was needed and I’m glad they ended up in a better space.
I’ll def be circling back to reread about the Grahams, but I’m excited about what’s to come!
This was a wonderful story of overcoming trauma, family, friendship, and finding your soulmates Janae and Wisdom found true love but Janae didn’t make it easy for Wisdom but he didn’t give up and it was worth it The storyline centers on them finding a love they didn’t expect and one Janae felt she was unworthy to receive Kami did an excellent job describing how past trauma done in our childhood affects our actions in adulthood and it never goes away until it is really addressed The support of family and friends throughout the story will get you in your feels in a good way I highly recommend this book it is sooo good First time reading this author but won’t be the ladt
Save Her For Me is an emotional rollercoaster that grips you from the very first page. The author masterfully crafts a story filled with intense emotions and heart-wrenching triggers, making it a read that is hard to put down. Although I haven’t personally experienced the situations portrayed, the way the author wrote the book had me deeply emotional and, at times, upset. The vivid descriptions and raw emotions pull you into the characters’ world, making you feel every high and low they experience. Despite the difficult themes, it is undeniably a good read that leaves a lasting impression. If you’re ready to tackle a story that tugs at your heartstrings, Save Her For Me is a book you shouldn’t miss.

I hate to see this end but damn if Kami didn’t have me in all my feelings, I thought Justice was the man but Wisdom had all the energy….Wise helped Janae find her strength by showing her she was more than her body now when it was time to show up for Janae the Grahams showed up and out for her….did poppa truth ever apologize? Now I hope Janaes parents get their marriage together but they were on a United front for their Toots and daddy did not play…I know this has to end but can we get a Graham wedding/baby novella and why couldn’t Renegade and Dreaux get a story they need some love to
the spice was PRESENT. the character development was EVERYTHING!! i loved how Janae went from feeling unworthy bc of her trauma to her feeling worthy of Wisdom’s love. Wisdom pour into her like a man should. he doted on her, loved on her and cherished her with all he had. in the beginning nae was getting on my nerves with glue little she thought of herself and how much of a hard time she was giving wise but then i understood why and everything came into place. the storyline was amazing! i wished i could have seen a glimpse of them getting married or even with nae pregnant tho.
Wisdom and Janae, When Your Heart is Finally Healing
I was so excited about the release of this book and it did not disappoint!!!…I love the development of the relationship btwn Wisdom and Janae!!!…I love patience and his ability to show her that she was more than she believed she was and more than what others said she was!!!…Her mistakes do not define her, but was there to help build her and that helped with her healing!!!… KJs arrogance is the very reason his Karma did not play when it was surrounded him!!!… I loved everything about this book and Grandma Lula was the icing on the cake!!!…
Wise and Janae’s story touched me (mainly because I’m a big cry baby) because wise broke down Janae’s wall that she built by showing her how a real man loved, values, treats and respects his woman. Wise helped Janae through all her trial and tribulations and he never failed to show her that he was all in with her. When Janae’s secret came to forefront, Wise was right there to protect her and go to war behind her. I love everything about this book, mainly because i’m like Janae in a since when it comes down to not letting the wall that I built be torn down. I’m excited that Janae got her happy ending with a man that loves her flaws and all.
This book was everything it needed to be. I love how Wise showed Janae friendship first because he took the time to study her and see through the "strong black woman" and help her heal her brokenness. I also can appreciate how Wise owned a successful business however, was ready to go to war for Nae. I love how Kami gave us a updates on the other characters in this book as well. Although I'm sad we only have one more Graham story I have really enjoyed getting to know the family.
