Lyrics of Lyra
A stressful office job, a boyfriend leaving the country, and an unsatisfied dream. This was a recipe for disaster for Lyra Hanna. Lyra had always dreamt of excitement, but has now found herself imprisoned in an average life, failing to have pursued her musical passions, and only finding comfort through her loving relationship. However, the abrupt departure of her boyfriend leads her to take a good look at the monotonous cycle she endures day by day. This sends her down a pit of self-questioning. One that she believes will never end.
Lyra spends her endless days wallowing in self pity until a grumpy old man enters the picture. The two continue to meet coincidentally, but soon realize that they can learn a thing or two from each other. Loved this book a lot! It follows Lyra and her internal struggles to fight for what truly matters in her life. It was inspiring seeing her work hard towards her goals and relationships. Especially her trying to battle her self critism and judgement from others. Enzo is the GOAT!
