This is one part devotional, one part Bible study. If you’re looking for a devotional that’s truly rooted in scripture, this is it! When you read Heidi’s pages you instantly feel like you’ve found a new best friend. She brings the journey to the promised land to life in a new way. And it doesn’t hurt that she’s hilarious! I learned so much from this devotional. Thank you, Heidi!
Heidi is the most genuine, joy-filled soul and it oozes off the pages of her book. She’ll point you to Jesus and gently remind you of His never failing love!
I love the humor in this 100-day devotional about the Israelites’ journey in the wilderness before they entered the promised land. The author is only 37 years old, yet she is a cancer survivor. She is not afraid to talk about hard things, but she laces them with joy through her humorous stories and comments. It is a good look at this portion of the Bible and I was encouraged by it.
A few favorite quotes: “Remember, ‘The Lord will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right.’ (Psalm 84:11). If we have it, it’s good for us. If we don’t, it’s either not good or the timing isn’t right. God will not deny anything that is good for His kids.”
“The land is all yours, but is your attitude all in? Let’s follow Caleb’s footsteps as we face our own hill country, knowing God rewards obedience when the time was right.”
“God knows what you can and cannot handle too, and in due time, He wants you to enlarge your territory. He wants you to seize the Promised Land. He wants you to dwell in the land overflowing with milk and honey. But how you respond in these smaller territories will affect how you respond in the face of much smaller ones.”
I received a preview copy of this book from NetGalley.
This beautiful devotional follows the story of the Exodus and the conquering of the Promise Land. It is full of insights and reminders of God's love and provision as we walk this life with him. We know He is the same yesterday, today, and forever and this devotional points us again and again to what we know about Him, His character, and His disposition towards those He loves.
Favorite quotes: "We may not make a reel about it or have pictures to prove it, but you and I have our own before-and-after story— just like Rahab."
"While it’s all too easy to identify ourselves based on our past or current circumstances, we can follow Rahab’s footsteps and claim the new life, new spirit, and new identity Christ gives."
Heidi is more than an author she is your best friend! Reading (or listening) to her books is like chatting with your best friend about life's most important journey, our walk with Christ. One daily devotion in, and I dont want to put down the book. I want to finish it cover to cover(and I just might ;-) ) All In, All Yours is an amazing journey paralleling our present day to the journey of the Isrealites searching for the promised land wrapped up in 100 days of devotions, digging into The Word of God. You will laugh and cry (maybe from laughter) and walk out stronger in your own walk, So trade a Lie for a Truth and buckle up I'm All In are you? And P.S. It's Gonna Be Good 😉
A bit of a different devotional where you truly feel like you are sitting at coffee with a friend. The connections between scripture and the authors life [and ours too] make it feel more natural and meaningful. We can see ourselves as living through many of the same hardships explained in the Bible. Yes it’s not truly the same, but you can definitely make strong connections. The author does an amazing job writing in more layman’s terms so as to not have the scriptures go straight over our heads. And I liked the “take the next step” at the end of every day to make us think and reflect on the past but also what’s ahead.
All In, All Yours is a beautiful and encouraging devotional that reminds us how faithful God is, even when life feels uncertain or full of detours. Each day’s reading gently points you back to Scripture and helps you see how God is still leading, fighting for you, and fulfilling His promises—just as He did for the Israelites. The reflections are honest, relatable, and filled with hope. Whether you’re in a season of waiting, change, or new beginnings, this book will strengthen your faith and help you trust God’s hand in your journey.
I truly loved this book! It’s a beautiful devotional with a strong, healthy biblical foundation. Heidi Lee Anderson does a wonderful job guiding readers through each day with wisdom, encouragement, and heartfelt reflections. Every devotional feels intentional and Christ-centered, helping you draw closer to God and rest in His best for your life. It’s inspiring, practical, and deeply rooted in Scripture — a perfect resource for anyone seeking to grow in their faith and live fully surrendered to God.
This book is like having a coffee date with your best friend, navigating the seasons of life you don't know what to do with. Heidi has an amazing ability to put historical Biblical accounts into tangible, real life experiences we can relate to, and therefore understand how we can live in the same freedom in Christ.
It took me longer to finish then I expected because of BSF and reading though the Bible in a year but every time I picked this up it was meaningful. Gods Word is so personal and Heidi’s writing was funny and eye opening. Highly recommend this little devotion for a good 5-10 minute study through the promised land.
I absolutely love this devotional Heidi’s writing style feels like she’s sitting right next to you, chatting over coffee — warm, excited, and full of passion. She breaks Joshua down into small daily snippets you can read and reflect on in just five minutes. The book is tiny enough to take anywhere, and the audio version (read by Heidi herself) makes it even more personal — like she’s right there with you, sharing little doses of daily wisdom. Such a refreshing and encouraging devotional!
I was blessed by being able to read an advanced copy from the publisher. This devotional is light-hearted and easy to read but also gives a deep dive into God’s Word. Heidi has such a gift for words and her writing helps bring Scripture to life and has helped me to relate in a whole new way.
I’m looking forward to this new read from HeidiLee. Her writing style is so uniquely conversational and yet poignantly filled with wisdom. How does she do that? I’m eager to be lead through the promised land on my own spiritually parallel journey.
If this devotional is anything like Heidi’s first book, it’s sure to be a joy to read. Her conversational tone and lighthearted humor make every page engaging and uplifting! I cannot wait to begin to read this devotional!
Heidi writes and speaks like she is talking directly with me. A 100 day conversation about diving deeper into Gods word, showing His truths, to overpower my own fears!
I can’t wait to dive into this book! Heidi’s first book was fantastic and I know I’ll be challenged and inspired with this one as well. Heidi teaches with passion, truth, and insight!
Super excited to start reading All In, All Yours! Read the whole Bible for the first time this year and am ready to dive deeper into the Israelites journey into the promise land.
