I enjoy listening to Alisa Childers, so her books were some of the first I added to my (now very long) list of books to pre-read to decide if they're going on the "Books to Prepare You For Adulthood" shelf for my kids.

Another Gospel? looks at Childers' own journey--her crisis of faith after her progressive pastor led his flock in questioning the core tenets of Christianity, and her journey to understand the Bible and rebuild her faith on a firmer foundation--as well as laying out the defenses for historic Christianity that she discovered along the way. It's a wonderful beginner apologetics book, and one that I'd be happy to hand any teen looking to dig deeper into their faith and what the Bible actually teaches.

What an incredibly powerful book! I don’t think many of us realize how much other “gospels” are creeping into churches everywhere around us. Alisa does a wonderful job of exposing this and really getting to the heart of the fallacies of these new doctrines. This book was well written and easily understandable. I will be highly recommending this to adults and students alike!
