Our love transcends time... Sailing on Titanic 2 was supposed to be a fun trip for my mom. It turned into a nightmare for me. When I fall into the pool and hit my head, I wake up not on Titanic 2 but on the real Titanic--the one that's about to sink in a couple of days. Thankfully, a young man is there to help me. Will is amazing. He's intelligent, caring, handsome... and about to die. Not to mention he was born in the 1800s! Convincing him I'm from 2025 is difficult. Convincing him that this unsinkable ship is about to go down is even harder. Can I convince Will to help me save lives aboard the fated ship? Will I ever get back to 2025? And if I do... how will I let Will go? Back to Titanic is the first in a series of time travel romance novels that can be read in any order. Fall back in time and into love!
I'm confused because there are so many 5-star ratings, but none of them had actual reviews. First off, I LOVE time travel books. This one has a fresh story line. However, I wasn't a fan of the style... One chapter from the female point of view, the next from the male's. It interrupted the flow for me. Also, especially in the first part of the book, there are grammatical errors like incorrect words, repeated words, changing Will to will, and possibly even changing one character's name, but I would have to go back to verify that and I was reading on a Kindle and that's too difficult. I almost stopped reading because there are hundreds of thousands of books out there and I don't waste my time on inferior ones. However, I was intrigued to see how the book resolved, so I pushed myself to read it to the end. This book has potential, but reads more like a rough draft. I really think it could be improved. Perhaps better develop the characters, increase interactions to explain the attraction as being anything other than looks, fix the errors, etc.
Millie's parents were real "Titanic" buffs. They even named her after one of the passengers, though at least the name on her birth certificate is "Millicent" rather than "Millvina." Now Millie and her mother have saved up to take a cruise on a precise replica of the famous ship...and the first time she takes a dip in the pool, Millie seems to time-travel back onto the original "Titanic," where she's always wished for a chance to rescue more of the passengers from the cheaper berths. A nice young man helps her fit in, persuading his sister to lend her some clothes. Is he her True Love? But how can they be "in love" if they don't live in the same time?
It's a romance; True Love will probably find a way. But it's a series; you'll have to read the following volumes to find out how. This is the story of how Millie helps a few passengers escape the wrecked ship, with some kissing, and more than kissing, along the way.
Three and a half stars. It'd be four if Will and Millie "waited for marriage," as people were supposed to do in 1912, though in fact, during the 1914 war, many of them didn't.
This was a good read. It has the Titanic and time travel, so I was already sold. I’m a total sucker for both, and that alone kept me reading.
The idea is interesting and definitely has potential. I liked going back and seeing things from a different perspective, and there were moments where I was actually really into it. That said, I kept wishing it went a bit deeper. Some parts felt rushed, and I wanted more emotional impact.
It’s one of those books where I enjoyed the ride, but when I finished, I wasn’t blown away. I wanted that wow feeling and didn’t quite get it. Still, I don’t regret reading it at all.
Overall: enjoyable and interesting, just not unforgettable. Solid 3 stars.
I will read any book written with the Titanic. I think this is the first one that involved time travel. I did quite like the premise and thought out manner of the main characters. Trying to change history on such a massive scale was clever on their efforts. It was also a nice change that the plans they implemented actually worked. Most time travel books that I’ve read haven’t been able to check them course of history on an important scale. The only complaint is the ending is boring. I had high hopes for a more fulfilling ending. That being said, up until that point I couldn’t pull it down!

This is an easy to read, engaging fantasy about a woman who mysteriously time travels from 2025 to the Titanic in 2012, days before the ship is going to sink. Because she’s very interested in the Titanic she knows a lot about it, which helps her convince the handsome Will that she’s really from the future.
The story is somewhat repetitious and the ending could have been more fleshed out. Characterizations are adequate. This is not a complicated story.
Mmm yummy yummy Titanic cheese for me to gobble up!!! I'm a sucker for Titanic time travel books so I picked this out to satisfy a Kindle achievement. No regrets reading it! It made a nice Valentine's Day read. It seemed to speed up near the end and I would have liked to see it more padded out though.
This was definitely a different take on Titanic. I did like the read and it was cool seeing how a modern woman would interact with the past. I just wasn't a fan of her in the beginning but it did turn out to be a good read.
This book was much better than I anticipated. Mix James Camerson's Titanic and a bit of The Time Traveler's Wife, and you might get close. It's hard to imagine a love strong enough to transcend time. This one is definitely worth the read.
I really enjoyed this book. It was an easy read with great historical elements that were brought to life. I would recommend reading this book for any historical genre lover.
I loved this story featuring some of my favorite genres time-travel, a love that transcends time and the Titanic, whose story has had me fascinated since I was a young girl. A lovely romantic read. I loved it!
