Fed Up

Rate this book
For years, Border Patrol Agent Allen Kent gave everything to his job-his time, his dedication, and his unwavering commitment to securing the border. Highly trained and deeply knowledgeable, he pursued every opportunity to sharpen his skills, believing his efforts would be rewarded. But the agency he once revered sees him as nothing more than a disposable asset, consistently overlooking his contributions in favor of less qualified agents. Frustration festers into fury. Betrayal turns to vengeance. When the opportunity arises, Allen does the unthinkable-he flips sides. In an act of defiance, he offers his hard-earned expertise to the very criminals he once fought the ruthless Mexican cartel. Finally, he's valued, respected, and feared. But the cartel's world is far darker than he ever imagined, where loyalty is a mirage and violence is currency. As Allen descends deeper into the cartel's brutal enterprise, he faces a new kind of battle-one for his own survival. The question is no longer whether he can outsmart the agency that shunned him, but whether he can withstand the horrors of his new allegiance. How long can he last before the weight of his choices crushes him? Will he escape, be exposed, or become just another casualty of the cartel's merciless grip? One thing is certain-once you cross the line, there's no turning back.

I just finished your book! Really great job, the story seriously kept me captivated wondering wtf was gonna happen!! You did amazing!!! I'd say get yourself a better editor because there were some little grammar mistakes and some words repeated in the same sentence.

Lastly, I would try not to be descriptive in every sentence as it's not needed for every sentence, that would be my feed back! I can tell when you were really feelin the emotion and the words flowed vs you trying. Like what im trying to say is not every sentence needs descriptive/big words.

The story itself was very organized and I felt you spent the appropriate amount of time for each phase of the story which overall made it feel very solid.

Really Really happy for you! This is a huge accomplishment, and I really want a number 2.

Really cool story. The fact that Knight had so much real-life experience with the Border Patrol is clear and allows the narrative to feel super grounded in reality. The ending was unexpected, too. There were enough editing errors that I noticed that took me out of the story, though, that kept it from being 5 stars.
