I continue absolutely adoring this series! 😩 I need more of it IMMEDIATELY!
Jaeyoung is truly going through it in this volume 😂 He wants Sangwoo SO BAD, but Sangwoo is…Sangwoo. They both want each other so bad, but Sangwoo had to go ahead and do some shitty research on how men have sex with each other and freak himself out 😂 So now he’s horny on main but scared of what the implications of that would be. Leaving Jaeyoung to go a little crazy over it trying to convince Sangwoo not to call off the thing between them entirely.
Then, we have the absolute jealousy Jaeyoung feels over Jihye. Sangwoo truly has no interest in her, but she’s definitely interested in him…and that drives Jaeyoung up the wall. I had to laugh reading the scene where he confronts Jihye and basically tells her to back off his man 😂 He resorts to “threats” and “bribery.” Just absolutely deranged 💖
All the while, Jaeyoung’s trying to be on his best behavior because he finally figured out that he needed to give Sangwoo some breathing space for him to come to him all on his own. So, he literally tells Sangwoo he won’t do anything unless Sangwoo initiates, and he truly sticks to his word. It often even drives Sangwoo a little crazy because he’s grown used to Jaeyoung being clingy with him 😂 I love it.
You know what I don’t love? The cliffhanger this ends in! Just torture here 😩 I need the next volume, and I need it now!

The art is stunning. It seems ordinary (in a good way, but still), but then some frames just take your breath away.

Great balance between humor and character growth. On the surface, it seems as if their relationship has barely progressed, but Sangwoo has actually been making strides, though not without trial-and-error. Most of the time, when people insist their favorite characters are autistic, it feels like projection yet with Sangwoo, I can totally see it: the guy is literally blushing when Jaeyoung is drawing an excavator on his arm. Also, It's downright comical how jealous Jaeyoung is of Jihye even though Sangwoo clearly isn't interested. Currently waiting for the library to finish processing the remaining volumes like a man in the dessert dying of thirst.

Oh wow, okay. So this has been the best one so far. This entire volume focused on Sangwoo's struggles with intimacy. It was really great seeing him come to terms with what exactly he wants from Jaeyoung. Where the other volumes were cute and fun, this one was very introspective. And also spicy. I was not expecting to see some of the art I got based off how tame the first two volumes were, but I am not complaining at all.
I will complain that the next volume isn't out yet, and now I have to wait to see more of Sangwoo and Jaeyoung together :(

Nie wiem, czy Chu Sang-woo jest kanonicznie w spektrum autyzmu, ale niezależnie od tego uważam, że został napisany w bardzo ciekawy sposób.
Widzę u niego naprawdę sporo cech, które można z tym wiązać.
Bardzo podoba mi się, że pokazuje osobę, która po prostu funkcjonuje trochę inaczej. Nie sprowadza jej do jednej cechy ani nie definiuje jej wyłącznie przez ten sposób funkcjonowania.
Widzę u niego naprawdę sporo cech, które można z tym wiązać.
Bardzo podoba mi się, że pokazuje osobę, która po prostu funkcjonuje trochę inaczej. Nie sprowadza jej do jednej cechy ani nie definiuje jej wyłącznie przez ten sposób funkcjonowania.

That ending is criminal. How is this so cute and funny. Is it the greenest flag ever.... no but I like a little bit of jealousy so I ate it up. Our man is finally not denying himself what he wants and we all want it to. I like that this is uncensored.

Volume 3 of Semantic Error was another really enjoyable read, and the chemistry between Sangwoo and Jaeyoung remains the absolute highlight of the series for me. Their personalities are so completely different that even the simplest conversation can turn into something funny, frustrating, or unexpectedly charged.
I particularly enjoyed watching Sangwoo attempt to understand his attraction to Jaeyoung as though it were a technical problem that could be carefully examined, categorised, and solved. Unfortunately for him, feelings have never shown much respect for orderly systems. Jaeyoung, meanwhile, is much more comfortable acknowledging the physical attraction between them, but it gradually becomes clear that his feelings are no longer quite as casual as he would like to pretend.
Their attempt to define what is happening between them only makes the tension more entertaining. Sangwoo’s blunt honesty and rigid logic constantly collide with Jaeyoung’s confidence, teasing, and growing emotional investment. Their bickering still has that wonderful spark, but this volume also allows more vulnerability to emerge beneath it. Both characters are trying to protect themselves in very different ways, which makes their relationship feel more substantial than a straightforward enemies-to-lovers romance.
The arrival of some romantic competition adds another amusing complication, particularly because it forces Jaeyoung to confront feelings he might otherwise have continued disguising as curiosity or physical desire. Yet the story never loses sight of Sangwoo’s uncertainty or pushes him into understanding everything before he is ready.
The artwork continues to complement their dynamic beautifully. Expressions, pauses, changes in posture, and the use of colour often communicate as much as the dialogue, especially during the quieter moments when neither character is prepared to say what he is actually feeling.
Overall, Volume 3 feels like an important step forward for Sangwoo and Jaeyoung. Their relationship remains messy, confusing, and extremely entertaining, but it is also becoming increasingly tender. I really liked this volume and cannot wait to see how long Sangwoo can continue treating love as a semantic error before accepting that some things cannot—and perhaps should not—be debugged.

Sangwoo und Jaeyoung haben zwar weiterhin ihr gemeinsames Projekt, doch die Stimmung zwischen ihnen ist angespannt. Zwar reagiert Sangwoo körperlich eindeutig auf Jaeyoung, doch weigert er sich gleichzeitig, die Möglichkeit einer Beziehung zwischen zwei Männern in Betracht zu ziehen und stößt Jaeyoung damit immer wieder vor den Kopf. Und auch Jihye ist nicht untätig und überredet Sangwoo, einen Tag mit ihr auf dem Kulturfestival der Universität zu verbringen - sehr zum Leidwesen des eifersüchtigen Jaeyoungs.

In diesem Teil der Story möchte ich wirklich nicht mit Jaeyoung tauschen, denn Sangwoo Starrsinn ist wirklich zum verzweifeln. Obwohl die Anziehung zwischen den beiden unübersehbar ist - selbst für Sangwoo selbst - weigert er sich noch immer, das als etwas anderes als einen Fehler in seinem System zu betrachten. Auch für Jihye ist es nicht einfach, denn ihr Interesse an Sangwoo prallt an diesem einfach unbemerkt ab, egal wie sehr sie sich bemüht. Und dann macht ihr Jaeyoung auch noch unmissverständlich klar, dass sie beide Konkurrenten in diesem komplizierten Kampf um Sangwoos Herz sind.

Eigentlich ist sie damit genau das, was Sangwoo in einer Beziehung sucht - doch wird es ihr gelingen, sein Interesse zu wecken?
Im Gegensatz zu den ersten beiden Bänden hat der dritte Teil von "Semantic Error" eine Empfehlung ab 18 Jahren. En esta tercera temporada del manhwa se toca más todo el tema de los sentimientos de ellos dos. Y, la verdad, no puede haber sido más desesperante leerlo. A los 5 minutos estaban bien y luego pasaba algo que dejaba a uno de los dos en un estado muy preocupado, hasta el punto de aislarse durante días. Pero la trama me ha enganchado muchísimo, ha sido un constante “me tiro de los pelos” hasta el ultimo episodio literal 😭.
Supongo que no hace falta aclarar que la dinámica que tienen como relación de pareja me encanta. Amo que se llamen por teléfono cuando se echan de menos, y que escuchar la voz del contrario sea un descanso para uno mismo. Amo que Jaeyoung se tome el juego tan en serio porque sabe que es uno de los sueños de Sangwoo. Amo que Sangwoo esté dispuesto a dejar Corea para irse con Jaeyoung a estados unidos.
Normalmente el drama en este tipo de historias lo repelo un poco, pero en esta historia en específico me ha encantado. Me alegro mucho que al final de todo se hayan comunicado tan bien y que hayan roto cada una de las barreras mentales que tenían.
La escena en la que Sangwoo quería ver a Jaeyoung actuar y, sin conseguir entrada, se va triste a casa para luego ver que Jaeyoung le había enviado una entrada pero ya era demasiado tarde… Ufff me ha dejado rotísima si me preguntáis. Claramente Jaeyoung hizo esa obra nada más y nada menos que para que le viese Sangwoo.
La verdad, no me esperaba tanto smut (dentro de lo que cabe y de todo el drama que hay), pero me ha gustado mucho que eso no sea el enfoque principal de la historia.
Y me encanta que consideren al juego como su hijo😭 es que sí es, ayuda.
El final me ha parecido maravilloso. Y la verdad es que la dinamica tan adorable que tienen.. uff voy a echar mucho de menos esta historia. Y mira que me la he acabado en 3 días JAJAJA

Començar a llegir aquest webtoon al 2023 i poder-lo tenir en format físic i castellà uns anys després és un somni! La veritat és que n'he fet un munt de relectures. És una sèrie sorprenent al principi perquè les dinàmiques són molt exagerades, però veient com evoluciona la relació i aquestes il·lustracions tan suggerents sense ser explícites t'acaben robant el cor ♥
2023: BL amb dinàmica d'enemics a amants bastant radical entre un noi popular de la universitat i un geni de la programació que té trets autistes i obsessivocompulsius. La relació al principi és literalment de bullying i d'anar a fotre a l'altre per revenja i despit i, tot i que de mica en mica se suavitza, el pas d'amistat a alguna cosa més m'ha semblat un pèl forçat. No m'acaba d'encaixar que el fuckboy sigui qui s'enamora bojament i que l'altre es rendeixi a la tensió sexual malgrat el conflicte moral que té... queda molt ambigu si el neurodivergent és capaç de sentir amor pel noi més enllà d'atracció física. Les il·lustracions a color són una passada i la sèrie és ben addictiva. Val molt la pena ♥
