Look, writing a book is hard. Writing a GOOD book is even harder. I get that... but this book was truly terrible.

The premise behind the story was what drew me in and piqued my interest. Two people who still loved each other but were changing and growing apart. They give the relationship a deadline, while promising to love each other freely, as if every day was their last, up until the end.

Unfortunately, this book was just written badly. The punctuation was inaccurate, to the point it made me wonder if there has been ANY edits to the draft before readying it for ARC readers.

Even worse, though, was the sentence structure. I had to reread some sentences multiple times, before ultimately taking a guess as to what the author meant to say.

But worst of all was just the "voice" of the book. It seriously read like AI attempted to write this, and I would assume it did, if not for how many errors there were in the writing.

On the bright side, the book DID add interesting insight/reflection to my idea of love. The two main characters were complex and interesting. The reactions to situations presented to them felt realistic, albeit a little cheesy (i.e. the girl's +Matthew breakfast at a resturant scene about 30% of the way in).
Good idea, book just fell flat. I wanted to love it, but it just wasn't for me.

I have to say, this was a rather unusual love story I have read in a while. From the synopsis it sounded like it was going to be a futuristic setting for what relationships could look like in years to come. What I read was the sudden breakdown of a couple's relationship and them agreeing to keep loving each other until their chosen set deadline date, where they will finally go their separate ways. I would say this is like a tearjerker kind of story because it is quite heartbreaking when the couple keep looking back on their relationship and discuss what they could have done differently.

I am giving this one a 5 out of 5 because it is something a bit different to enjoy reading.

This book was beautifully written with so many lessons to take from it, I underlined so much because it was the kind of book that leaves you thinking about your own feelings and reflecting on your past as well as helping you be more tender with youself and just accepting that loves comes with a cost.
The best way I can describe this story is A love letter to heartbreak and breakup.
Thank you so much to Netgalley and Little Book Factory for sending me this book!!

It was a great book that made you walk even the memory line of your own relationships. It's about the beauty of realtionships coming to an end.
