What's a girl to do when her freedom day is ruined by a hulking Minotaur who steals her away and takes her and her bestie to a mystical land full of weirdo's and magic she could never even dream of? Buy shoes on daddy's new credit card, that's what. Oh and cause a bit of havoc. Or maybe a lot of havoc.

Between my hot older Guard, my stupidly tantalizing new Vampire roommate and delightful Griffin fake brother, I have more than enough ammunition to cause a riot and make sure this entire country knows who I am and why I'm so wicked inside.

Let's not forget my new cousin; Queen Carrie Darklight, AKA the baddest b*tch this world has seen in the last millennia, and the last Chimera, has taken me under her wing and is showing me all the ways we girls can rule this dark world.

My birth parents ditched me like a bad puppy in the pound and just because they freed me from going to jail, and told me I was a Princess of Marda, doesn't mean a thing to me. I despise them and I refuse to bow down and fit into the pretty little Princess role.

I'm Lucifer - f*cking - Nox baby, and you best believe I am more than a match for my namesake. It's in my DNA to be a deviant; I am a Darklight after all...

This trilogy follows the life and death of seventeen-year-old Lucifer Nox as she is discovered in the Mortal Realm and brought back home to an Other Realm Fae country called Marda, against her wishes, where her birth parents rule as King and Queen. It is a tale of loss, love, strength, and figuring out who you are along the way.

The Changeling trilogy can be read as a stand-alone series, you are not required to read Superno Academy first.
There are minor spoilers of hints for a couple of character's class types in the Superno series if you read this one first, but again, nothing serious as Superno is set in the future to this series, and the main characters are mentioned but not the same as this series and the answer is not actually given it is just hinted. It is RH, fantasy, fated mates, and has morally grey characters. There is a HEA for the characters left at the end.

I received an arc copy in exchange for an honest review

This was such a good story. It was super sad and a lot more angst compared to book one of superno academy. But I love all the characters, maybe with Zade as my favourite. I can't decide. I just hope lucifer gets an easier time of things in book two, even though I am loving how she is getting 'darker' and with Carrie, who I am excited to learn more about

I got an ARC copy of this book and I am so happy I did. I loved it, maybe even more than superno which I didn't think possible. Luci is so sweet and funny. And I loved all the guys, even hale. But even the other characters, like zoya, are really good and feel fully fleshed out. I highly recommend

Got an arc copy for an honest review;

Hot damn this was good. I had no idea what to expect but I loved it. It was definitely more sad I think than superno, and I felt so bad for luci by the end. Hopefully she gets a happier time in b2, but I am doubtful as we all know what happens to Carrie by the end of this series if superno us anything to go by... absolutely in love with zade. He's so damn nice. I just love him!! Excited for b2 when it comes

THIS BOOK. WAY TOO MANY FEELS.
I was fortunate enough to get an ARC copy of Deviant and I must say, Tierney, I LOVE YOU. Superno Academy pulled me in and Changeling is ensuring I never leave!

Lucifer Nox is hands down the most relatable FMC I’ve read in months (and I’ve read A LOT). She’s been through a lot but the trauma is not as obvious as it is in other works. Tbh the insight to how/why she is the way she is hit way harder than I expected and I’ll now be talking to my therapist about this book… but I cannot stress enough the amount of love I have for The Other Realm and everything there—especially the people!

ENZO. All I can say is ENZO🔥🔥 He’s loyal, protective, and honest which I didn’t really expect from him. And the instant jump to Luce’s request was perfect! Especially after what he said her first night in the palace. 🥹

Let’s not forget Hale and ZADE and Zoya!! Honestly I just loved everything about Deviant and I can’t wait for book 2!!

Twenty percent...oof

Oh the grammar. Plurals with apostrophes, possessives without apostrophes, homonym swaps, tense misuses, and other assorted madness. But that was only part of the issue. The rest is that the FMC is completely unlikeable. I should have quit when she made a joke about suicide and abandoned ship then. But I thought, she's supposed to be an 18yo character with emotional issues. So I kept going, to my regret. She is needlessly crude, forgiveable but not pleasant to read. She is kidnapped by her real family, which after being adopted and then abandoned, she understandably has issues with- feels like she was abandoned twice before landing here without her consent. But she's rude, doesn't ask questions normal people would be asking about anything going on. She sees her friend turn into a creature and doesn't stop to ask what else may be in this kingdom before just trotting out the door in a crop top and shorts in winter. Invited to a dinner with her parents she insults these powerful rulers without knowing how their kingdom runs and what consequences there might be. Even hearing the account of how she wound up with humans doesn't slow her down. But the part I finally abandoned book at was when she wandered the house after bedtime. Doesn't sound very bad, right? But, her parents just got her back and no guards in the hallway? Or even just watching from various unseen locations to ensure she doesn't bolt and get hurt. Because she hasn't been introduced. She could be seen as intruder and harmed by other guards after shift rotations- since they wouldn't have seen her. Then she snags a bottle of rum. Ok. Teens drink if they can get their hands on it. Believable even if most people would want to keep their wits sharp because they don't know what's going on. But when she screws her tipsy adoptive brother in the hallway I gave up. I loathe drunken s*x choices. Drunk people can't consent. And in the hallway of a house she knows nothing about but could possibly have cams for security? This went beyond suspension of disbelief and into just nope territory.

I was lucky and managed to receive an arc from the author of this book in return for an honest review, so here goes.
This is a spin off series to the authors Superno Academy series. I think that if this book sounds interesting to you, then you should definitely read the Superno Academy series first (there are a couple of things in this book that may spoil Superno if you haven’t read them yet). I will keep this review spoiler free, so don’t worry about spoilers here. You definitely have to experience this yourself as this series and Superno are ones you can get lost in.
This was a great first book in a spin off series and cannot wait for the next book in this series.
The FMC in this book is fantastic (just like the FMC’s in Superno- Tierney definitely knows how to write kick ass female characters. The Character Lucifer is brilliantly written and the men in this are fantastic, she knows how to write great male characters (what can’t this author do?)
This is definitely a book with a great supernatural world, and the world building is fantastic. I am trying to be careful what I say so that I don’t spoil this book for anyone. So all I will say is that you will definitely not regret reading this book, and I suspect you will find a new favourite author/series.
One warning I will give is that this book ends in a cliff hanger, and the next book isn’t out quite yet, so you will be counting down the days until you can read the next one. I cannot wait for the next one. Tierney you have done it again and made me fall in love with yet more characters, so thanks for feeding my addiction.

Great first book in a series!

All her life, Lucifer has felt separate from everyone around her. Between her name and her red eyes, she was often feared or ridiculed. Add in a learning disability, and people also believed her to be uneducated. Her birth parents threw her away; her adopted parents decided they didn’t want her. Her best friend Ellis and his grandma were all she had. When Ellis picks her up from spending almost a year in juvie with news that her birth parents are looking for her, she is skeptical. Even after they are both kidnapped from the local diner and taken into the Other Realm to meet her birth parents, she still believes something is off. Not having anywhere else to go or anyone else to care, she decides to stay and see things out. Along the way, she meets Enzo, Hale, and Zade. Hale hates her. Enzo sees her as too young and only as a charge. Zade wants her to be his. In her quest to live her life, she encounters more hate and distrust, but she also finds acceptance. Who is Lucifer and what will she become?

I enjoyed this first book in the Changeling series. Lucifer is gritty and real, the kind that comes from a life of suffering. She is scrappy and won’t hesitate to throw a punch. I look forward to Demon (book 2)!

I would was lucky enough to receive an arc copy of this book and this is my honest review of this book!
Well Tierney has done it again! The start to the series is truly wicked!
I am fully hooked. Lucifer Nox is a badass fmc even though she has been through hard times and trauma. I love that she is a massive mix of crazy/sassy but loyal to the ones she trusts/loves. Along with her sexy trio of Zade, Enzo and Hale. All sexy and different in their own way (As Tierney has mastered the art of creating sexy book boyfriends) the devil does have some fun in the first book trying to find her feet within her world/life plus creating chaos and madness along the way. But as this first book was left on a nice cliffhanger I cannot wait to see what adventures/trouble the Devil and her sexy trio get up to in the next book!!
I would 100% recommended this book if you like supernatural worlds, badass fmc, multiple partners, dual pov’s (which I really loved not just lucifer but the sexy trio too) Tierney has created another amazing story/world!!!

Loved this book!! It does end on a bit of a cliffhanger.

Lucifer Nox is a badass but like any normal person struggles with feeling accepted. She was thrown away as a kid by her birth parents and abandoned as an adult by her adopted parents. She is then thrown back into the world of her birth parents not knowing who to trust.

Her story is only just starting and there are those that could be her new family but none of them know the full story of what has happened in the past or how to true ly help the other. This book was just the beginning of her story. Hale, Enzo and Zade could be just what she needs but they will have to earn her love first. Will they be able too? Will Luce be able to own her new life? I hope we find out in book 2!!

As always, Tierney delivered on the emotional roller coaster she insists on putting us through and I absolutely love her for it! I loved the opportunity to get to know Lucifer and her companions, and I cannot wait to see what book 2 brings!

This series and Luci’s relationships with different people remind me so heavily of the Darklight Triplets from the Superno series, and I absolutely adore it.

I would recommend both Superno and Changeling to anyone!

10/10 would read again
10/10 would definitely recommend!

P.S. - I think I acquired at least two new book boyfriends 😂

should be its own series

Was trying to finish out the dark light triplets’s plot line so I downloaded the next book in the series. This is not the continuation of the first three books. It’s barely connected to those books. I hated that this book is set in the past with a whole new cast of characters.

Rated this book highly because I can tell the author has gotten better at her craft over time. Character development is more thorough and the scenes flow well.

It’s also unbelievable that multiple sets of princesses were “stolen” in the same blood line….

I am in awe of how the author could write such interesting stories in such short time.

I received an arc for an honest review

I loved this book. I have already read the other series . And absolutely love both. Lucifers story is so relatable to me... might not be so for everyone.
But it is a fast read with 340 pages total.
Can't wait for book 2 of this series, and see how lucifers story continues

I was lucky enough to get this book early and I have to say I can already this is going to be my favourite series tierney has done.

Lucifer is a fiesty main character who takes no crap from anyone but is loyal as hell for those she loves.
And the males characters Enzo, Zade and Hale. Just chefs kisses all around. Enzo and Zade are by far my favourite.

This story is the first in the series and is beautifully written in a way that makes me so excited for the next book.

Freedom day takes a whole new meaning.

Lucifer Nox's whole world is turned upside down faster than she can blink. Her freedom day is turned completely upside down when her and her best friend are kidnapped by three tall men and taken to a whole new world. When she has to adapt her whole way of thinking.

Enzo is my favourite love interest, but Lucifer is such a baddass FMC.

This is a prequel series to Superno academy and I can't wait to read Book Two.

So I'm gonna be honest. At first, I was like I don't about this book. And then it sucked me in and spit me out at the end. Lol. Lucifer is the angry wild child inside us all and I'm excited to see where life takes her. And those boys of hers...🥵. If you wanna go on an adventure with the devil then this is the one for you.

Another great one by Tierney. It has all the things that i love, a sassy fmc, why choose romance with different types of guys, a fantasy romance with a griffin, a minotaur, a vampire. Our fmc has been through it already from losing her mom, being alone to being locked up to finding out her mom wasn't her mom and she is royalty, to a new school and having powers. This book has so many great things going on and no it's not too much, it's just right with how it is. I am very excited to start reading the next one in this series and see what will happen next.
