NYC Billionaires #2

From West, With Regret

Rate this book
He promised he’d come find me… then I forgot that he existed.

A tragic incident robbed me of any memories I’d ever had before my fourteenth birthday, and I spent the second half of my life wondering if I’d ever get them back.

Years later, on the way to my late husband’s funeral, in a city I don’t know, I slip into a bar to prepare his eulogy on a cocktail napkin. Instead, I end up confessing all my ugly truths about my abusive marriage to the bartender, confident we’ll never cross paths again.

Until I see him a few hours later, sitting beside my husband’s casket.

Turns out Weston Knight isn’t just a bar owner.
He's also my dead husband’s billionaire brother.

Mortified, I’m desperate to escape, but when West finally catches up with me and offers me a job in one of his many bars in New York City, I can’t find it in me to resist him.

Everything about West feels familiar. His voice. His touch. His kisses.
It isn’t long before he’s consuming my every thought, even in my dreams.

But the closer we become, the more I learn that West has secrets of his own. Ones that have led to a life of regret. And when the memories of my tragic past finally return, I realize that maybe, just maybe, I’ve crossed paths with this man before.

They say you should leave the past behind.

But what if the past is all I've ever wanted?

*From West, With Regret is an angsty, spice filled, ex's brother billionaire romance. It is Book 2 in the NYC Billionaires Series and can be read as a complete standalone, however, it is recommended you read Book 1 first.

Thank you SO much to Brittany for my gifted copy of From West, With Regret.

This is the first book I've read by Brittany, and it is book 2 in the NYC Billionaires series, but can totally be read as a standalone.

Our FMC, London, has just become a widow and currently trying to figure out what to do with her newfound freedom. Her marriage was not full of happiness and love, but painful memories and a manipulative husband. Worse yet, she's been tasked with writing the eulogy for her husband's funeral. Forced to come up with some niceties about Heath, she ventures to a nearby bar, The Veiled Door, before attending the funeral where she meets the owner, West Knight, a man with kind eyes that look so oddly familiar. But so many things in London's life bring odd senses of deja vu, especially after the accident that left her with amnesia. At 28 years old, she has no recollection of her life before she was 15. Ever since the accident, she's been trying to put together the puzzle pieces of her life that constantly plague her mind. And now that she's free from a loveless marriage, those pieces are finally starting to click together...

I don't want to give too much away because this book is full of unexpected twists and turns of events! Brittany weaved a beautiful story of heartbreak, passion, longing, and love into London and West's story. West would do ANYTHING for London, and he's quite the man obsessed (to the point that if anyone so much as looks at his girl wrong, they'll likely get punched in the face).

And since this is book 2 in a series, we get awesome found family vibes, strong female friendships, and we're setup for the next few books in the series perfectly (I'm dying to know what's going to happen with Holt and Selene, London's sister)!

One of my favorite things about the book was the twist at the end that I definitely did NOT see coming! Add in London's amnesia and the way Brittany gave us small bits of her past that finally all came together in the end, and we had one heck of a romantic suspense story that ended in a beautiful HEA.

Read from West, With Regret if you enjoy:
- billionaire romance
- amnesia rep
- boss x employee
- he falls first
- ex's brother
- touch her & die
- found family

The reason this was not 5 stars for me personally is that I didn't feel like I knew the characters well (particularly West)- their chemistry seemed great at times, and others it felt forced. Something was lacking between London and West, which caused some of their physical intimacy to feel less smooth for me. Again, these are just my own personal thoughts!

They say love always finds a way—but in From West, With Regret, love finds a way... and then loses its memory. And I was so here for the emotional whiplash.

Brittany Taylor dives headfirst into the amnesia trope—a plot device that can often feel like a soap opera gimmick, but here? It’s heartfelt, layered, and swoonier than a late-night rom-com binge with wine and your most emotional playlist on loop.

West, our cinnamon roll with a jawline, has been nursing a teen crush on London since he was 16 and she was 14. (Okay, sure, I too would’ve aged them up a touch, but let’s suspend our disbelief and lean into the pining.) An event separates them, erases her memories, and sends him into a 15-year spiral of "Where is she? What happened?" Turns out, she married his (decidedly not warm and fuzzy) adopted brother. Cue the drama, guilt, angst, and emotional reunions that feel like a Nicholas Sparks movie collided with a Colleen Hoover novel—somehow in a very good way.

I especially loved the found-family thread running through the story, and the cameos from Charleigh and Asher gave me that warm, cozy “Hey, I know these people!” joy. The chemistry between West and London is electric from the start, like lighting a match in a room full of scented candles. Sweet, spicy, and ever-so-fragrant with tension.

That said, I would’ve loved a few more dual-timeline flashbacks to really let their young love blossom on-page (just give me the angst and nostalgia, Brittany—I can take it!). But even without that, the emotional payoff was beautifully handled. London is no fragile damsel; she’s determined to reclaim her past and her future, one memory at a time.

And West? Top-tier book boyfriend. Protective, patient, swoony, and probably the kind of man who never forgets your coffee order. My heart ached with him, hoped with him, and occasionally wanted to wrap him in a cozy blanket and remind him to hydrate.

Ultimately, From West, With Regret is a love story about second chances, rediscovery, and the belief that even when memories fade, true love doesn’t. It’s emotional without being overwrought, romantic without being saccharine, and packed with just enough spice to keep things interesting. I’ll definitely be sticking with this series—Holt, you’re up next. But Rome? I’ve got my eye on you, book four or not.

🧠Amnesia
💞Second Chance

❤️‍🔥He Falls First and Hard
☠️Touch Her and D1e

I really love the characters all around in this series. A wonderful found family sense and so happy that we see Asher and Charleigh again a bit.

Amnesia tropes can be tricky, and perhaps there was more suspension of disbelief for this one but the couple is so lovely to watch so I didn't mind. The pining by our mmc, West, was swoony! For about 15 years London can't remember anything from before she was about fourteen, but of course West does and he is hoping her recollections return (but also fears the pain it will unlock for her).

West has a huge crush on her in their teens (14 and 16... I maybe would've liked them a couple years older) and an event happened that stole those memories from her. He's had to wonder what happened to her for a long time, then finds out she was married to his (not so nice) adopted brother.

I would've liked to have had a few dual timeline flashbacks to see their youthful connection blossom more. It would've deepened their history.

The drama and their instant chemistry was highly enjoyable. Not as angsty but lots of sweet moments. He's very gentle but they can be a spicy couple too. And his protectivenes shines just as bright as his love for her. An easy read with a couple you root for wholeheartedly! I'm definitely in for the rest of the group's stories, Holt being next (I want Rome's, but I think he'll be book 4?).

“Can you possibly know someone without knowing them?”

“Our connection was already mapped out in the stars.”

He promised he’d come and find me, and then I forgot him…Talk about a line that totally grips your heart!! It’s been a minute since I’ve read a book with an amnesia trope, and this one did not disappoint. From West, With Regret is a beautiful love story of love, loss, soulmates, and regret.

The moment West lays eyes on London, it’s as though no time has passed. Every memory, every moment, flashes before his eyes. The only problem is that London doesn’t remember him at all. Despite having amnesia, she doesn’t let her lack of memory define her. She takes every moment in stride and is determined to make the most of each moment. And when tragedy strikes, London finally gets her freedom and a chance to discover who she really is.

From West, With Regret left me tangled up in knots in the best possible way. West was one of my favorite characters and definitely a top book boyfriend for 2025. The lengths he went through to ensure London’s safety and happiness made my heart swoon. There is nothing and I mean nothing he wouldn’t do for her.

West and London’s story will take readers on one heck of a ride. Their story is emotional and consuming. These two characters have been THROUGH it and despite every obstacle and twist thrown their way, their love only grew stronger.

In the end, this book will make you believe in the forever kind of love, soulmates, and happily ever afters.

Oh my gosh, I cried reading From West, With Regret. This was such a haunting, beautiful, emotional second-chance romance! I have been itching for West's story ever since we got a chapter from his POV in From Asher, With Love, and Brittany Taylor did not disappoint!

The book opens with London taking a detour into a bar on the way to her husband's funeral. They were only married a short time; it was a toxic relationship, and she had never met his family. She strikes up a conversation with the bartender, spilling secrets about her marriage, having no idea that not only is he the owner, but he happens to be her late husband's brother. Oh yeah... and because London has amnesia, she also has no idea that the guy behind the bar is her first love, West.

There are so many twists and turns in this book, and I loved the exploration into London and West's connected past. How much they meant to each other once upon a time, how devastated he was to lose her when they were 14 and 15, and how painful it is for him to be so close to her now, yet not be able to tell her who he is.

From West, With Regret deals with some heavy topics: grief, domestic violence, family drama, and so much more. I was consumed with West and London's story, and their hard-earned HEA was so worth it after all the tears I shed for these two!

This book is a standalone, but the supporting characters are all a close-knit friend group. I enjoyed the updates with Charleigh and Asher, and the tease for what's ahead in the next book!

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.

What a follow up to From Asher With Love! The first book stuck with me for some time, and I feel the same will happen with this one.

London and West’s story is a top read and a definite re-read. I could not put the book down, my heart broke for London, her past is forgotten, her marriage was abusive, until his death. On the day of his funeral she crosses paths with a man, who has connections to her brother and her past. Does he hold the key to retrieving her life and lost memories?

West is a wonderful addition to London’s life, he gives her an outlet for her life – her art. As her puzzle pieces start to fit together, he is there to support and love her.

The characters are what make this series, the connections, the passion, and the emotions. I am looking forward to what is next.

Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.

A masterpiece

Wow! This book is on my top 5 favorites for this year, I amazed, in love, obsessed with these characters. You know when you can’t put a book down even to eat? This was it for me, I devoured this book in one sitting and I will for sure reread soon.

How can I describe West? He is absolutely perfect, his patience, his love, his protective side and his dirt mouth will make you fall head over heels in love with him.

London is as amazing as West, she suffers from amnesia, and her past was not easy. She is artistic, strong, and a beautiful soul.
Her struggle to accept her feelings for West was relatable and real.

West & London’s relationship is the perfect example of the red string theory, (an invisible red string connects people destined to be together, regardless of time, place, or circumstance). They were soulmates, and their chemistry was explosive.

The plot, the characters, the spice, and everything about this book is phenomenal.
What a beautiful and emotional story.

Add this to your TBR, just trust me! ♥️

Whew! From West, With Regret. No regrets here. This book was so freaking good and had everything I want in a romance suspense, spice, yearning and a dang plot twist I didn’t see coming. This is the second installment in the NYC Billionaires series. I love these characters so much. West is the ultimate book boyfriend. Protective with a hint of touch her and die thrown in. London has been through it. She’s suffering from amnesia and her abusive husband dies. London ends up pouring her heart out to her bartender who happens to be West before the funeral. Turns out West is her dead husband’s brother and they have a past she can’t remember. Oh but West remembers her and he’s not giving up until she falls for him. This book was such an emotional but fun read. I can’t wait for Selene and Holt’s story. I love the little peaks we got to their story throughout the book.

West and London's story was one that needed to be told. Just when I thought it could not get better after book one, Brittany said move over because you need to hear these two story. It was captivating form the beginning. My heart went out to the way these two had to endure life without each other and what they went through to come back to each other.

London (FMC) is so relatable. She is beautiful yet sweet and tender. She has lost her memory at a young age and only remembers her life from a teenage on. The sad part is that West was part of her life before her memory loss but leave it to fate to fix it. She walks back into his life by a simple miracle when on her way to her husbands funeral. Fate comes back when it happens to be West's brother who passes away. Even with her memory loss, she feels a connection with West immediately. She feels safe with him. West (MMC) is perfect. He is the perfect book boyfriend we all want in our books. He has always had eyes for London and when she comes back into his life, he isn't willing to let go of her again.

Overall, I was in a ready for anything Brittany threw our way. My heart knew they were end game from the start and would be endgame no matter what. Everything London went through and to get her happy ending with West was worth the journey. Thank you Brittany for another amazing story.

UGH these NYX Billionaires just keep getting better. I fell in love with the puzzle that is London and West. I couldn't imagine the heartbreak, let alone the trauma of an accident that leaves you in pieces. Trying to slowly fit your life back into this little box that that keeps dropping important pieces. The patience that West has definitely pulled on my heart strings, but the persistence is what really got me. Brittany def keeps me happy and waiting but these are my absolute favorite! The spice is just right 🤌 The story keeps you on your toes 😱 The PLOT TWIST definitely caught me off guard. However the happy ending was so perfect for these two that it was all worth it 🖤

What a second book in series! I was so engrossed in West and London story, I could not put it down.

London has suffered from amnesia and cannot remember a large portion of her life. She is in an abusive marriage to a millionaire until he is suddenly killed in a helicopter accident. But after leaving her with nothing London is trying to rebuild her life and gain back her memories.

You said it yourself. The truth is easier than the lies. I can’t stand up there and lie to hundreds of people”

Luckily for her she crossed paths with West, her dead husband’s bother who might just hold the key to retrieving these memories.

West was obsessive, loyal and so dam hot. He was so patient with London and I was so sucked in by his character. There was so much emotion around London and her past which really drew me in right from the start. I loved how her passion for art was the link to her missing memories. The connection between London and West was so passionate and deep, building on from what they had at teens.

I didn’t choose West, and he didn’t choose me. Our connection was already mapped out in the stars”

Again Brittany linked all the side characters in so well. Holt and Selenes story can’t get here fast enough.

Thank you so much to Brittany for another ARC, I can’t wait for the rest of this series! 4.5 stars

From West, With Regret is a deeply emotional, character-driven story about healing, fate, and the unexpected paths that lead us to love. Weston Knight is the embodiment of resilience. Having grown up in the foster care system and later adopted, he’s built an empire of bars and restaurants in New York City through grit and determination. But despite his success, there’s a lingering loneliness and a complicated past he’s never fully outrun, especially when it comes to his adoptive brother, a man who resented his presence from the start. London Walker enters West’s life under tragic and tense circumstances. In the city for her husband’s funeral, a man who, behind closed doors, was emotionally abusive, London is lost, grieving a life she never truly wanted. When she ducks into The Veiled Door bar to collect herself, she meets a kind-eyed bartender who makes her feel seen for the first time in a long while. That bartender turns out to be none other than West, her late husband’s estranged brother. The reveal is jarring, but what follows is an unexpected offer: a job drawing illustrations for West’s newly renovated bar. For London, who’s desperate to stay close to her sister in New York and rebuild her life, it feels like a lifeline. But the more time she spends with West, the more she feels an eerie familiarity she can’t quite explain, memories just out of reach, fragments of a past she lost in a childhood accident. As their bond deepens, so does the tension between what West knows and what London can’t remember.

West is a beautifully relatable male lead. He's haunted by a complicated childhood and strained family dynamics, yet he channels his pain into creating something meaningful. He’s protective, patient, and tender with London, even while keeping a secret that could unravel everything they’ve built. His internal conflict, between honesty and the fear of losing her, is palpable and heartbreaking. London is equally compelling. She’s a survivor, shaped by trauma and memory loss, yet her strength lies in her vulnerability. After years of being underestimated and controlled, watching her rediscover her independence, and slowly, her own voice, is both empowering and emotional. Her trust in West, though fragile, grows organically, making their connection feel earned and deeply authentic. Together, they are magnetic, a couple forged not through fairy-tale perfection but through raw honesty, shared pain, and mutual growth.

In conclusion, I gave this book 5 stars because Brittany Taylor delivers a powerful story about how our pasts may shape us, but they don’t have to define us. With layered characters, emotional depth, and a touch of suspense, From West, With Regret is a moving portrait of two people learning to believe in second chances, healing from heartbreak, and embracing the kind of love that feels like home. This isn’t just a romance, it’s a story of reckoning, redemption, and what it means to choose love, even when it scares you.

I have to be completely honest I’m not even sure where to start , how to possibly find the right words that could do this amazing story enough justice. That could express how in love I fell with London and West . The way their journey pulled on all my heartstrings, all the emotions I was reeling with from start to ending , how utterly invested I was in both characters to the point I felt like I was experiencing everything right along with them . Smiling and laughing when they were happy , sobbing and yelling outta frustration when things didn’t go their way . And definitely cheering so so hard the whole way through for their happily ever after. Their story starts when they were both kids in the same foster home . Two kids who quickly become each others best friend, west swore he would always protect her and always find her if they ever got separated. But something happens , a life altering event that changes everything. . It’s not until they are adults that fate brings them back into each others orbit again . Only this time things are a little more complicated, London has no memories of their past ,of anything prior to the age of fourteen. She went through something horrific and the result was her memory loss . But the connection between them is still there ,stronger than ever. It’s clear as day they are soulmates meant to be together. Their journey is without a doubt not easy . London struggles to find her way in life and at the same time is slowly falling in love with West , unaware of their history. . And oh did my heart go out to West , wanting to share details of their past , yet knowing that it could change everything they were building together . I have to say - I very quickly found myself falling Falling head over heals for West right along with London. The way he was right by her side , showing what love really looks like . How caring and protective he was of her , the way he would do anything and I mean anything to ensure her happiness. From West With Regret was and is the most beautiful and emotional love story I’ve read in a very very long time. Tropes you can expect 💚 He Falls First 💚 Touch her and die vibes 💚 exs Brother 💚 found family 💚 workplace romance 💚 childhood friends to lovers

“The truth is always in front of us. Sometimes you just have to dig a little deeper to find it.”

This book was absolutely beautiful! From West, With Regret swept me away with an emotionally gripping story about two unforgettable characters—West and London—whose shared but lost past had me aching for their reconnection. I was hooked from the first page, eager to unravel the mystery and feel every twist and turn.

“I’ve never felt more myself than around him. Like he sees a part of me I didn’t know existed. Or one that I forgot existed.”

London is such a strong, compelling heroine. After losing her memory at fourteen, she forgets the most pivotal person in her life. When she meets West—her late husband's brother—there’s a spark of familiarity, but she doesn’t understand why. As they spend more time together, fragments of her past begin to surface. But will rediscovering the truth heal her—or shatter her all over again?

“She’s the balm to my wounded soul. She always has been. She doesn’t even know it yet.”

My heart absolutely broke for West. He’s the kind of man who would walk through fire for London and watching him endure her not remembering their deep connection was devastating. Yet through all the time apart, he never let go of hope. His tenderness and patience moved me deeply, and I admired his quiet determination not to lose her again.

“I may have spent years trapped in the dark, but West has always been my light.”

The chemistry between London and West practically leapt off the pages. Their hauntingly beautiful love story was a rollercoaster of emotions—angsty, suspenseful, and deeply touching. Every moment they shared was intense and unforgettable. They’re soulmates, no doubt, and I adored every bit of their breathtaking journey.

From West, With Regret is an emotional, angsty second-chance romance that delves deep into heartache, memory, and healing. When London, still reeling from a traumatic marriage and tragic loss, unknowingly crosses paths with bartender Weston Knight—her late husband’s estranged billionaire brother and, as it turns out, her own childhood first love—their worlds are upended. The connection between West and London is electric: what starts as grief and secrets slowly blooms into hope, forgiveness, and rediscovered love.

Taylor skillfully balances intense emotion with tender romance. The chemistry between London and West is palpable, layered with longing, regret, and a hint of mystery as London’s amnesia shields her from past pain and complicates their reunion. West’s patience, loyalty, and quietly obsessive devotion add depth to his character, while London’s vulnerability and resilience make her easy to root for.

With its heartbreaking reveals, atmospheric setting, and spice-laced angst, the story addresses heavy themes like grief, trauma, family drama, and domestic violence without losing sight of the healing power of love. The supporting cast and close-knit friendships add warmth, and the twists and turns kept me eagerly flipping the pages.

If there’s a critique, some moments may feel melodramatic and a few plot points resolve a little quickly, but the emotional payoff and satisfying HEA make for a worthwhile read.

Perfect for fans of second-chance love, billionaire romance, and deep emotional journeys, From West, With Regret is beautifully written and sure to stick with you long after the final page.

From West, With Regret is an emotional romance filled with angst, heat, and suspense.

The story follows London, who is an artist who has no memories from before her fourteenth birthday. She is fierce and a little broken. She is finally free from her abusive husband. She finds herself living in New York City, where she meets West. They have an instant connection. The more time she spends with West, the more her memories from her past resurface. Little does she know that West has a secret that could either make or break their relationship or could be the key to unlocking her memories.

West is protective and so caring. Dare I say he may be my new book boyfriend. I do wish he told London about his past and how they are connected sooner. But I will forgive him because he does do some swoon worthy things.

These two had such a strong and deep connection. There was so much pining and yearning, and I loved every minute of it.

Your heart will definitely break for these two. They have gone through a lot in life. Especially London.

Brittany Taylor always packs a punch in the last twenty percent of her books. And From West, With Regret, does not disappoint. I did not see that twist coming. To say I was shocked is an understatement.

*Please read trigger warnings. This book deals with tough topics and situations that are depicted on page.

Thank you to the author for an ARC of this title.

From the first chapter, I was hooked on London and West’s second chance love story. It tugged on my heartstrings, and the type of love and connection that these two shared was unforgettable. London spent most of her later teen years and adult life in the dark, literally. She suffered a horrific accident that left her without any memories before the age of fourteen, which meant she lost the memories of the first boy who ever loved her. West and London both grew up in foster care, and when London was about to get adopted, West promised her he would find her. After her accident, she didn’t know who West was, so he tried to just let her go. Many years later, West sees London again, and in that moment, time stopped. He knew he couldn’t have her, as she was married to his brother, and tried not to let his feelings get in the way, especially since she couldn't remember. When an unfortunate situation leads to her ending up in his bar and spilling her secrets to him, West knows this is his chance. He asks her to make some art pieces for his bar, and he slowly eases himself back into her life. London can sense that her brain is trying to bring forth memories as she gets to know West better. Things here and there trip some of her brain sensors, and she tries to make sense of it. She feels guilty that she has these strong feelings for her late husband’s brother but can’t help but feel safe around West. A series of events leads to an awakening of sorts for London, and she can’t believe or understand it all. West does his best to be there for her and explain things, and she realizes that West has been with her, in her mind and memories, since before she was fourteen. There are so many moving pieces in this book, and West and London’s journey through it all was sad, yet extremely beautiful. West has always loved London, and his compassion and how much he cherished her was a testament to that. London always felt those memories just out of reach, and when she finally pieces them together after a long fight, it scares her yet calms her. I wish I could read this book for the first time again!

Brittany, Ma'am, how dare you put me through all those emotions. This took me on a rollercoaster that I was just not prepared for but should have expected.

Amnesia trope is something that can be done really well or really poorly. London's amnesia was handled incredibly. We got glimpses and pieces of some memories that came back from time to time and the feelings and emotions that came with it could be felt while reading. She is so strong and resilient and watching her blossom was amazing.

West, that man was kind, sweet, patient and so much more. He's a walking talking green flag. I love how West was there for London in every way once she was back in his life.

The path these two had to find each other again was one filled with heartbreak time and time again. Lost memories, lost time and lost love. Once the memories all came back, ugh I cried right along with them.

HOLY PLOT TWIST!!!! The gasp I gusped. I did not see that coming at all. My mouth was on the floor.

We have gotten little pieces of both Holt and Selene and I can't wait to see how their story unfolds next.

Review:
✨From West, With Regret✨
NYC Billionaires #2

By Brittany Taylor

✨ Ex’s brother
✨ Billionaire Romance
✨ Amnesia

⭐ 5/5

Weston, he is part of the past London forgot
London, she can’t remember pieces of her past

Quote: “You are the air that I breathe. Without you, I’m nothing but a ghost wandering through this life that I won’t have, can’t have, without you.”

Weston and London

A really emotional romance that Weston and London are having in here.
Bonded in a past that she can’t remember anymore. Weston never forgot the little girl that owned his young heart. He searched for her, hoped to find her and actually found her when and where he least expected.
London can’t understand why she feels such a pull toward a man she just met. But when she learns who he is, it is a big shock.
But despite everything that is against them, London accepts his job offer, when she needs it.
And with time comes feelings and with those feelings memories come back to London. Clearly they had to find each other.
But not just memories reappear. A threat that wasn’t supposed to be there anymore brings hurt, pain and tragedy. But their love is the big, never ending romance both hoped for.

After reading From Asher, With Love I immediately started looking forward to more from this series! I jumped right back into the NYC Billionaires world with this second installment. I really enjoyed this story!

London and West's journey pulled me right in! From lost memories to her husband passing away, London is dealing with a lot in her life. The Veiled Door bar has London and West colliding. Little did London know that she'd be seeing West again. West is a bar owner and the brother of London's ex.

I didn't know what all to expect going into West and London's story and it had me glued to kindle even more. These two got me into their journey so quickly! It wasn't easy for London and West and oh did these two get to my heart! From the past, personal stuff, and the feelings between them, I couldn't wait to see how they'd tackle everything in their lives.

I admired London's strength so much! I hated everything that she went through in her life. I adored her love for art.

The chemistry between London and West was wonderful! I felt for West and London so much and went through a big range of emotions with them while reading!

I enjoyed getting more of the NYC Billionaires world and it's characters.

With From West, With Regret, Ms.Taylor has created such a great ex's brother romance that brought amnesia, moments I didn't expect, spice, depth, and a lot of feels! I can't wait to dive back into the NYC Billionaires world with the third installment! 💚

Check out the author's note about the content/triggers.

Weston & London's story had me from the start. We met them in book one and I couldn't wait to read their story. London finds herself being a widow after her husband died unexpectedly. She enters a bar before the funeral trying to figure out what to say at the service. She had drawn on the back of a napkin. She also speaks to the "bartender" and tells him something she never told anyone else. That her husband was abusive to her. She eventually leaves to attend the funeral. When she stands to speak at the funeral, she sees West. She cannot bring herself to say anything and she runs from the grave site. West of course goes after her. After all, he cannot let her slip through his fingers again.
London doesn't remember the first half of her life. There was an accident when she was fourteen and has amnesia as a result. West remembers everything that London doesn't because they were in the same foster home when they were kids. This story navigates through London eventually getting her memory back and realizing that she has loved West for most of her life. I was NOT expecting the twist at the end.

🖤💚From West, With Regret Review💚🖤

🖤I was so excited to return back to the world of the NYC Billionaires. From West, With Regret is the second book in the series by Brittany Taylor. It follows London and West, two characters that we met in From Asher, With Love🖤

💚I loved this book so much. London and West’s story came together beautifully. London can’t remember her past, while West’s POV helps fill in the gaps. London is regaining her footing in the world after the death of her abusive husband. With no place to go, she moves in with her sister in NYC. West, a multi-bar owner, offers her a deal to create new artwork for one of his popular bars - The Veiled Door. London begins to see snapshots of memories around West. Their relationship develops so naturally, and I love how real both characters felt.

🖤You will love this book if you love🖤

From West with Regret was such a beautiful and emotional book!! I absolutely adored both West and London. They were so magical and perfect Together!!!

It took a bit for them to give in to one another, but when they did, it was fire!!!

Even though London didn’t remember him at first, I loved that she still had the feeling that she had known him all her life. And the things that she would sketch that always seemed to lead back to his memory, I loved that so much!! They seemed to be tethered to one another by a single thread since they were teenagers, always meant to lead them back to each other.
I think one of my favorite scene was when London and West were in Albany, and she starred to remember the area that they were driving through. When she finally realized that West had kept their past a secret from her, she handled it so beautifully. She was upset, but she understood why he did.
Their love was so pure and they were so truly meant to be their whole lives.

This book was definitely a favorite for me!!!
And as much as I truly loved and adored Brittany’s first book, “From Asher, with love”, West and London had my whole heart!!

I cannot wait for Selene and Holts story!!

Could. Not. Put. It. Down.
I don't read arcs in bed because I like to write notes in my arc tracker. Yet this one I was up in bed until after 1am reading because there was no way I was passing out with out knowing how it ended! That twist at the end! Aaaaah! I had made a prediction about Heath and I was wrong. So wrong.
London lost her memories at the age of 14. She was convinced she had been born with a broken heart. She sees puzzle pieces here and there but can never crack her brain open enough to put them all together. I absolutely loved her. She was resilient. No matter what was thrown at her she would pivot and move on.
West made London a promise when they were kids and then he lost her. For 15 years he has looked for the girl he made plans with and a promise to find. Until he spots her at a party, with his estranged brother's arm around her waist! West is hell bent not to lose her again, and he does everything he can to keep her. I adored his love for her and his persistence. I think one of my favorite lines was him expressing (to himself) the frustration that she has memories of his P.O.S. brother but none of her! Guys this man was *chefs kiss*
After her husband's untimely death, fate plays her hand when London walks into a random bar on her way to her husband's funeral. Needing to try and come up with something for the eulogy. Instead she opens up to the handsome bartender she has a strange pull to. ;)
OOOOH! And that muddler scene may have just beat out the honey (IYKYK)

First the Harding Brothers, then Asher and then this… I. LOVED. IT!!!

Two words ~ Quantum Entanglement.

London and West didn’t have it easy, both spent time in the foster system.
Tragedy struck and London lost the years of her past. She struggled with her memories, bits and pieces came to light but was never able to put them together. Married and was widowed within a few months…

Broken hearted West never stopped looking for his childhood love because of the promise he made her when she was adopted: that would find her and always protect her. Somehow he was the one that was forgotten, not by choice though…

Find out what happens after he finds her ands how they finally get their HEA…

Her drawings…

His necklace…

She may be the one with amnesia, but it seems we’re both lost in the dark just the same.

Thank you Brittany Taylor for the Advance Copy of this book... 💚💚

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From West, With Regret by Brittany Taylor. This is book 2 in the NYC Billionaire Series and just like book 1 this book captured me wholeheartedly. The emotional roller coaster I went on throughout reading this book had me feeling whiplash. I was happy, sad, worried, scared, and then sweaty ? This author has an amazing way of portraying the physical chemistry between her main characters, even the side characters! I can feel everything as it’s written. West and London’s story is beautiful and devastating at the same time. They have faced so much trauma but their love is unconditional. I cannot accurately describe how amazing this series is so far and I can only imagine it will continue to get better and better. If you enjoy ex husbands brother, angst, touch her and die, protective MMC, trauma, suspense and more this is the series for you!!!

What an incredible story 💚

Brittany has done it again. She has drawn me in to yet another one of her stories as she immersed my mind with incredible detail, so much emotion that you can't help but feel all of it on this absolute roller coaster of a journey for West and London.

London dealing with amnesia and the not so tragic loss of her husband, she is drawn to West, not knowing he is the missing piece of the jigsaw of her lost memories.

The love that West has for London is just beautiful, and Brittany writes in such depth that your own emotions get drawn in too.
I adore FAWL, but my heart is holding so much of this book, it's officially taken up so much space in my head!

I cannot wait for the next installment!

Thank you for the opportunity to read the ARC 💚

Awww I do love me some West, he was such a sweetheart. From the moment London walked into his bar West knew there was no going back and he just had to get London. Unbeknownst to London, he knew exactly who she was and the death of her husband was about to change everything. What do you do when the girl you’ve loved since you were a child comes back to you but doesn’t know it’s you? You carry on as normal and win her over once again. That’s exactly what West done until a journey took London right back to the beginning. Finally thinking everything was going good someone from the past rears their ugly head and it causes trouble again.
I loved this book and absolutely loved West and London. Seriously another fab book from Brittany who won’t disappoint you I promise.

Wow! This was so not what I was expecting and the major twist at the end 😱 My emotions were seriously all over the place and my heart definitely shattered a couple times. Both West and London had been put through it and when you find out the real story you will be shocked. Our poor London was in an accident and lost all memories of her first 14 years of life but does she gain them back? Her subconscious is constantly trying to get her to remember him but oh my heart definitely broke over this. The important part is they definitely get their HEA! If you’re as invested in this series as me, you’ll be so excited for the sneak peak of the next book and I cannot wait to for it!
