Ancient prophecies are the forces that oppose Joshua, creating conflicts and challenges he must overcome to hasten the coming of the Messiah and reunite with his family in the actual resurrection of the dead. Ellison notes, "Not all visions and versions of utopia require an apocalyptic prequel." She began writing her initials as T/R long before it became fashionable. The moniker is a jab at conventional hyphenations between left/right brain functions, which she doesn't believe in.
