The first story: in continuity of the ongoing story from previous volumes, a young boy tries to save his sick older brother, and the yokai around the boy keep coming up with bargains offered to the boy, which includes exchanging his mother's life for the older brother's recovery. Will the main character able to help the boy?

I like the part about the nanny's story in this volume.

In the third story, the same boy goes to stay with his distant relatives in their supposedly haunted house, will things go well for him?

I understand that this series is not for everyone, the stories can be slow paced and the artwork doesn't have your regular pretty boys and pretty girls in it. However, if you like well written stories about kinship, friendship and human nature with the backdrop of urban fantasy and the Japanese yokai folklore, I think you will like this series too.
