Merciless Mountain Man is Book 1 of the Seduction Summit Warriors series. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, age-gap, curvy virgin gets her mountain man romance. Dane is a hunky ex-military man turned logger in his 30s. Cassady is a 23 year old curvy property manager. When she ends up inside Dane's cabin in error, thinking it's one of the company rentals, she gets a sexy peek at the hunky mountain man. They end up meeting at the lodge bar and have dinner and drinks. Things later get hot and S-T-E-A-M-Y. These two had great chemistry, and we got a great HEA after a little angst. I loved it!.

This is the first of a new set of standalone but interconnected instalove short stories set in the small town of Seduction Summit, North Carolina. I enjoyed getting to know Dane & Cassady in this story and their meet cute was entertaining. I look forward to continuing this series.

The pacing felt strange, and the main character’s inner monologues came across as overly dramatic at times. By the end, it almost felt like I was being lectured in a condescending way, which made the conclusion especially frustrating.

Cassady works for a property management company and has gone to make a quick inspection of a property before the renter shows up. Things just seem off to her. The keypad for the door was missing, but it was a new property, so maybe it just hadn't been installed yet. Since the front door was unlocked, she walked inside. There were clothes on the couch and dirty dishes in the kitchen. She's concerned that a squatter has moved into the rental cabin. Just then a naked man walks out of a room to get his underwear from the clothing pile on the couch. Turns out she had transposed numbers when she copied the cabin's address and was at the wrong cabin.
Although highly embarrassed about her mistake, she's amazed at the instant attraction between them. As she's leaving, she shocks herself when she invites him to meet her at the Glacier Bar and Grill later that night.
Dane moved to Seduction Summit five years ago after he retired from the military. A friend of his from basic training had told him about the town. He hired on with a logging company and enjoys his job.

Liliah is helping us bring the new series Seduction Summit Warriors to life like a firework!! It's going to be an excellent series if Book 1 if any indication.
Cassady thinks she's just checking a cabin for the property management company but a slight mix up brings her into walking into the wrong cabin. Its funny when she runs into the mountain man Dane in all his naked glory. Its cute and funny at the same time.

Merciless Mountain Man is Book 1 of 6 in the new Seduction Summit Warriors series, which focuses on retired military vets that moved to the ski resort community of Seduction Summit, a fictional town in NC that is featured in some of Hart’s other series. The men became lumberjacks to help with demand for new cabins. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone. This book focuses on lumberjack Dane and Cassady, a young local woman working for High Peak Properties, a cabin rental company. Cassady mistakenly entered Dane’s cabin while working and found Dane naked. They ended up meeting at the Glacier Bar and Grill inside the Seduction Summit Lodge for beer and burgers that night. This leads to the beginning of a steamy hot romance.
The story is fast-paced, and the author has done a wonderful job of creating an interesting plot and characters, and excellent world building. I recommend this book for readers that like short, insta-love, age-gap, small town, mountain man, spicy romance stories.

What a fabulous and exciting ebook to look forward to.. This extremely talented author will have your interest from the beginning. Cassady is working for a property rental company. She goes to make sure a cabin is ready for the new renters. When she walks in the unlocked door, something doesn't seem right. Little does she know that she would meet Dane, the most hunky mountain man she's ever seen. Dane walks out of the bathroom looking for his clothes and is surprised to see a young woman who looks like an angel. Cassady gets bold and tells him to meet her at the bar. Cassady works for High Peak Properties and the cabins they bought recently are now being turned into rentals. So she is supposed to make sure a cabin is ready on Memory Lane. When she gets there at the address, things are weird, you’ll see why. There she meets Dane. Cassady and Dane think the other is gorgeous. Cassady is embarrassed and they end up meeting again at Seduction Summit Lodge and get a drink. They talk. They are cute together and it gets romantic and steamy quickly. A lot more military men are settling down there now that there are so many cabins built. I like Cassady’s goals, but laughed at how many books she wants to read. I tend to read that many in a week to ten days. I enjoyed the book and can’t wait to see what happens next and I love the fact that there are so many series set on Seduction Summit now. It’s so much fun! I loved the ending.

Cassady received an email from her boss to check a new cabin just purchased to be used a vacation rental to make sure it was ready for the booking. She went to the address that she thought was correct only to find a cabin with no key lock on the door. Door unlocked so in she goes and it doesn't look quite right plus there are clothes on the couch. A further shock is when a guy comes out the bathroom as bare as the day he was born. Her FIRST sight of an adult male nude! But what a man? She mentions that she will be at the lodge bar at 6 tonight. He finally says that his name is Dane. He thought that she was gorgeous, but he didn't even know her name! Their back and forth makes an interesting getting to know each other. Where will it lead? Could something come of it?.

Another short spicy story, and worth the read!
Cassady is checking on a rental property for her boss, something seems wrong when there is no keypad, but she checks the door and it’s unlocked. She then walks in and gets an eyeful of something she’s not seen before.
Dane is not expecting any guests, but there is one in his living room.
Absolutely a great story, it’s wonderfully written the characters are realistic as are their actions.
Like I said, it’s about an hour-ish, depending on how you read. It’s a great story, grab it now!.

For some author's these stories all start to seem the same. But not with Lilah Hart. She manages to put a different something in each short story. In this one, we have a career minded virgin who literally meets her HFE first the time when he is in the buff having just come from the shower.
As the attraction becomes apparent, Cassidy realizes she want Dane as her first. She is up front with him about this being her first time. And I only wish my first was as considerate and loving as he is with her.
Great fast read and another good addition to Lilah Hart's growing portfolio.

Cassady needs to check on some rental cabins but goes to the wrong one and walks in on Dane.. naked. They later meet up at the bar, flirt and little, and she's never able to walk away again.
I really liked this story, the characters had great chemistry, and although it is insta-love, I liked that Cassady had some struggle with that for a while.
I have now read quite a few series from the author and I'm so amazed at how things have progressed over the years. You will not regret picking this story up and please do read them as a series!.

What is going on when Cassady arrives at the cabin?! Hmm… her boss will not be happy about it. She crosses paths with a mysteriously handsome man… who is naked?! I like the instant attraction and chemistry between Cassady and Dane. It is his personal mission to learn more about her and make her all his. I enjoyed reading the epilogue!

What a wonderful story. We are taken along in the lives of Dane and Cassady. They meet when she is out for her boss to check a rental property. But there is almost nothing to find in the property and it is also strange that you can just walk in because the door is open and that is the moment that she sees Dane coming out of the bathroom naked. She quickly realizes that she is in the wrong pants and leaves. Dane can not get her out of his thoughts and when he sees her again he does everything he can to get her and keep her safe. A swoon romance and highly recommended.

I was looking for a gruff mountain man to pound me into the dirt with a sledgehammer, but all I got was a lumberjack with a leash on his axe.
I'm wondering if the title is intentionally misleading... For a "merciless mountain man" Dane shows waaayyyyy to much restraint. He's constantly holding back because he doesn't want to scare away Cassady, and talking long-game right away and trying to woo her. He mercilessly pursues her?? Maybe??? But the sex was pretty basic once we got there. Nothing that would be classified as being merciless... no edging... no BDSM... no hair pulling... no pleasure domming. The epilogue was cute, and it was short, but it didn't quite meet my expectations.

Very Very Good Story!!
Well I absolutely loved the start of this series. Cassady worked for a property management company and was going up the mountain to check and make sure that one of the rentals was ready to go. Once she gets inside she notices that there is too much out of place, clothes on the couch, then goes into the kitchen and sees the sink piled up with dishes. She decides she’s going to leave and try and figure out what went wrong here. As she begins walking to the door the wood floor creaks in certain places and she also hears the same sound behind her. When she turns around she’s stunned to find… 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜💜😊😊😊😊😊

The wrong cabin leads to HEA(and quite the eyeful😉)

Another keeper!! Loving these shorter reads with lots of steam and feels by Lilah Hart. Dane is perfect as the guy who never felt he would settle down but meets his match when Cassidy walks into his cabin by mistake. You gotta love a man who is so supportive of his woman’s career choices. Don’t miss the bonus chapter!!🤭.
