When Calder and Aiden’s New York trip ends up being a waste of time there’s only one thing left to do. Freak out! Okay, well until Calder steps in to calm Aiden down at least. Suddenly, Aiden finds himself with a third wheel that he can’t seem to shake. Calder swears up and down that Matty is just a friend, but that doesn’t stop the jealous little monster from coming out of Aiden. It appears Matty’s not leaving any time soon, so Aiden just has to suck up his pride and deal. Marcus has been looking into other solutions to Aiden’s problem, and I’m sure Sin hasn’t gone far from him. Eve is still her sassy grumpy wolfish self, adding her two cents here and there. All the while Aiden finds himself at a crossroads of sorts. One path leads to the cure and away from Calder. The other, well you get the gist. The question is which one will Aiden choose? Will he choose eternal love? Or will he choose to go back to before all this supernatural insanity? I guess only time will tell.
Kinda Dead Inside is book two in the Bite Me series, a vampire MM paranormal romance. For fans of vampires, dark snarky humor and banter, and with plenty of spice.
* This book is apart of a series and ends with a cliffhanger. Best suited for ages 17+
Bite Me (Work in progress series): Book 1: Mistakenly Departed Book 2: Kinda Dead Inside Book 3: Coffin for Two
This was such a fun continuation of the Bite Me series. Following Calder and Aiden was so fun as they stumble through love, friendship, not dying, and having an actual first date. If you’re looking for a deliciously fun, possessive ride…this quick read is just the one!
Tropes:
⚰️ possessive jealously ☠️ calls him “little bat” ⚰️ vampire MM romance ☠️ demon summoning ⚰️one bed next to friend
While this is not my normal genre to read, I did enjoy it. It was a quick, fun read that had me laughing out loud at times. Calder’s affection for Aiden really came through in the writing. If you enjoy vampire M/M romance, then I think you will like this one.
This book was an absolute whirlwind of emotions, witty banter, and unforgettable couples. The story continues to follow Aiden and Calder as they dive deeper into Aiden’s half-vampire, half-human quest to track down Dracula’s Blood — a journey filled with danger, humor, and heart.
Alongside their adventure, we also get to see Matty navigating the unfamiliar territory of falling in love with Malcom, even if he’s not quite ready to admit it to himself yet. And then there’s Marcus and Sin — whose dynamic takes a surprising turn, with Sin acting in ways we’ve never seen before. These shifting relationships kept me hooked, always wondering what would happen next.
The mix of romance, sass, and supernatural intrigue makes this installment a perfect treat for MM romance lovers who enjoy sharp banter, bratty charm, and plenty of heat.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️
If you love character-driven stories with humor, spice, and heart, this one is a must-read!
Still searching for a cure, the two go back to NY to see Malcolm and of course, Matty is there. Marcus is back at home with Sin trying to find more out. Why does everyone’s name begin with M? Somewhat confusing. Anyway, a demon is summoned, Sin spends quality time with Marcus, Matty’s heart is broken, or is it, and Malcolm is a direct descendant of Dracula. Lots of jealousy and making up. These two are determined to save Aiden.
I adore Aiden, his shy, jealous bratty behavior is just too adorable for words. I enjoyed this ending to Aiden and Calders story, they definitely worked hard to be together. Would like to see Matty and Malcoms story.
