Turn Your Fear Into Fuel

Rate this book
“Fear is a thief. We can’t progress without taking action, but we won’t act when fear paralyzes us. Don’t allow fear to steal from you. You CAN choose to act, despite what scares you.”
– John AddisonFrom his childhood as a regular kid from Georgia to his tenure as co-CEO of Primerica, one of the world’s most successful financial service companies, John Addison has learned a thing or two about fear and the role it plays in our lives. Based on one of his most popular keynote speeches, Turn Your Fear into Fuel guides readers into the heart of their darkest hour and helps them leverage the depths of fear to enter the light.

Fueled by his staunch refusal to quit and wisdom accumulated through decades of life and leadership experiences, John digs deep to...show readers where fear comes from, what it means (and what it doesn’t), andwhy looking at fear very closely is one of the best ways to move through it and eventually beyond it.With his can-do attitude and Southern charm, John will have you laughing, nodding in agreement, and ready to approach subjects you previously found unapproachable. Now is the time to embrace your full potential. Now is the time to reach for the stars. Today, not tomorrow. Action is the best cure for fearful inactivity. It’s time for you to turn your fears into fuel and walk confidently into the future.

John Addison, former co-CEO of Primerica, is a world-class motivational speaker and consultant who believes real leadership is one of the world’s scarcest resources. He is helping people worldwide with their personal growth through his speeches, books, and online Mission Leadership Academy. He is the bestselling author of Real 9 Simple Practices for Leading and Living with Purpose and Quotes to Live By.

As a fan of John Addison, I enjoyed the lessons in this book about fear and overcoming it - not forever, but one day, one hour, one minute at a time. Loved the additional information and the history of Primerica's growth - what a wonderful success story.
