This is a dual POV, kisses only, sports romance in the Sweet Sports Kisses Series.

A jilted bride. A rebound marriage. And a lifetime of secret pining.

Beau
My teammates know I’m not the biggest party guy, and Vegas is not my scene. But they wouldn’t take no for an answer.

When Christy ‘Kit’ Garrett, my high school nemesis, appears out of nowhere, wearing a wedding gown, I’m certain I’m hallucinating.

Fast forward twelve hours I have a massive headache, a ring on my finger, and Kit sleeping next to me.

Kit
Yesterday I was set to go from Miss. to Mrs., until my fiancé left me at the altar.

That man was not Beau Matthews, Blindside Flanker for the Ironclad Marauders, so a dream about marrying him is beyond bizarre.

But when Beau’s gruff voice penetrates my sleep filled haze, and I find steel grey eyes staring back at me; It’s safe to say I wasn’t dreaming.

The real surprise? I’m not sure it was a mistake.

Blindsided By Fake Love, a marriage of convenience novella, is book 1 in the Sweet Sports Kisses multi-author series—a sweet/clean romcom sports collection set across the U.S. Each story is connected through the Play It Forward organization, bringing heartwarming romance, humor, and just the right amount of competition. *Updated audio review*

This fun, low angst story was so enjoyable to listen to in duet narration! Both of the narrators did a fantastic job. I'd read this story before, but it was a whole new experience to listen to it.

These two characters get a second chance at the relationship they both wanted back in high school, but had let a misunderstanding separate them. It was nice to see them both learn to communicate better with each other and share what was in their hearts.

This second chance, marriage of convenience, rugby romance is a quick and easy read!

I received a complimentary copy of this audio book. All opinions are my own.

***

This was a fun, quick read by a new to me author!

I thought this was a great set up for a story, with two characters who had a fractious history together, first as teenaged "enemies" who taunted and teased each other, followed by the possibility of more that quickly hit a roadblock and caused hurt feelings.

Yet, when they reconnected in Vegas, we discover that they married. Yet, Kit has no memory of what actually happened. Beau does remember everything and knows that he really wants to convince Kit to give them a chance.

This low angst story made me happy to see things work out for these two people who had actually crushed on each other all through school and would finally get their happily ever after together.

Abby Greyson has swung the bat on this book . Well actually that’s not quite right ,cos this is Rugby 🏈 right? There’s Beau Matthews , the same guy who always made Christy Garret go awry and irate ,never a person of whom she’d date no way! He relished in taunting her anyway, every time he came into where she worked he then taunted some more ,she felt like a joke with every taunt he would poke ,not amour. Now her sister tells her that he actually liked her ,like was really obsessed with her ? This is a mess! Now they are married and all she feels is YES ….and then no…what did I do? Literally ,the first time she’s seen him in years and what happens ?They get wed , it’ll end in tears . It’s bound to , she gets to think but the idea of being Mrs. Matthews ? Well it doesn’t stink. Next she’s unlocking her door to her clinic and he’s right there . Is he a stalker now? No don’t be silly ,he lives just around the corner anyhow . No his reason for being there is legitimate not to get intimate ,it’s about his mentee and it is the lad who’ll get something out of it you see. Mentor and Mentee get to chatting and his advice is simple.Yes I know it’s a vets he’s just been to on his new young friend’s behalf but what’s this ? Is he having a laugh ? He talks of a duck/ducks? “Are you being serious right now?” Jack’s eyes bore into the side of his head. “A duck? That has to be one of the stupidest things I’ve ever heard.” “And yet, it works. Every. Time.” Sublime ! Genevieve who’s Christy’s mate , well she calls it fate. Heaven sent ,perhaps they didn’t OUGHT to have an annulment heard after all …But no that’s absurd …right? But what if she’s right her mate and they make a divine you’re mine till the end of time pair? Now we’re getting somewhere . Well that’s how it did start and as for the rest of the story ,you know what to do. Go out and buy this fantastic book why don’t you ? Abby Greyson’s books ? I’ve read them all and each and every time I’ve had a ball and a bawl and a guffaw ,because each one I adore ,every time I’ve shouted encore …well in my head ,I’m not off my head daft ,though I do like a giggle or three so I am just HAPPY see . Excellent storytelling that’s yup you guessed it ,compelling . The writing is perfect and the descriptions and characters are simply the best I do attest there’s no contest.

I love a good novella. Yes, it means Instalove, which isn’t my favourite trope, I usually like a bit more build-up, and yes, I like drama too. But sometimes it's good to read a sweet romance, that ignites and burns quickly but doesn’t go out.

Beau is on a rare night out with his teammates when a vision in a wedding dress latches onto him. It turns out to be his old school nemesis (and secret crush) Kit. He was crazy about her back then, but mixed signals meant they weren’t meant to be. Now she’s been jilted at the altar by a total loser, and she’s in his arms, kissing him. The next morning, they awake together, but she has no memory of the night before; the gold bands on their fingers tell all the story they need.

Things get even better when they she finds out he’s just moved back to their hometown, so it’s not going to be easy to forget their Vegas night. Not that either of them wants to.

I loved Beau instantly, he was sweet, gentle and considerate. He has a heart the size of North America and wears it on his jersey sleeve. His scenes with his mentee Jack were adorable, not only was he giving advice but also receiving it.

The one thing I love about novellas is that if there is going to be drama or miscommunication, then it doesn’t last very long, barely even a couple of pages.

I may have absolutely zero interest in sports in general, but sports romance? Oh yes, that's something I can get behind. I was very excited to hear about the Sweet Sports romance series (a multi-author series featuring various sports) and Abbey Greyson kicked off the series well with this sweet rugby romance. I've read a lot of sports romance, but I think this is only the second rugby one I've read--- it's definitely a sport I know even less about than my typical minimal... but don't worry, no knowledge of the sport is required to enjoy Beau and Kit's story just the same. Right way, I was drawn into this cute story. The last person Beau expects to see while out celebrating a win with his teammates in Vegas is Kit- the girl from his past- showing up in a wedding dress and kissing him like she means it. The next morning, they find themselves married--- and she doesn't remember any of it! That's certainly a fun way to start a story. I loved getting to know the history between these two and seeing their accidental marriage going from 'fake' to something a little more real. Abby Greyson does a great job of creating characters that are just enjoyable to read, and this one was no exception. I loved the sweet chemistry between them and found myself smiling throughout.

Blindsided by Fake Love is a closed-door romance with kisses only and no language.

**ARC received for consideration. All opinions are my own.

This book was charmingly sweet. Since the beggining it gives us a feel good kind of feeling and is sweet all through the story.
It's swoony and light hearted and can be read in one setting.
Both characters are very relatable and their interactions and banter are quite funny and it provides some laugh out loud moments and gives us a way to chill and decompress with a sweet love story.

I received a free copy of the book via Booksprout, and the following review is entirely my own voluntary and honest opinion.

Abby Greyson's novel “Blindsided By Fake Love” is a charmingly sweet romantic story that debuts as the first novel in the “Sweet Sports Kisses” series. What makes the series special is that each part is written by a different author, and although they are separate stories, they share a common thread: each novel focuses on a sportsman and the plot revolves around a fictional charity, Play It Forward. This organisation supports young people through an athlete mentoring programme, where experienced athletes act as a kind of ‘big brother’ to support the young athletes.

Abby Greyson's novel retells classic romantic clichés in a fresh, humorous, and sensitive voice. The protagonist is Beau, not exactly the partying type, but he gives in to the urgings of his teammates after a win in Las Vegas. What he wasn't expecting, however, was for his old school nemesis – and secret love – Kit, to turn up in a wedding dress in the same bar where they were celebrating. But the surprises don't end there: the tipsy bride, who greets him with a kiss, wakes up the next day at Beau's side – with a wedding ring on each of their fingers.

The night before is a blur for Kit, but Beau's memories come flooding back, especially when they realise they are officially married. Kit had hoped for years that her boyfriend would finally propose, but he only agreed to a quick Vegas wedding, and ended up leaving her at the altar. The young woman, humiliated and drowning her sorrows in alcohol, drifted from the ruins of a broken relationship into this absurd but somehow sweetly ironic situation.

The story begins to get really exciting when Kit learns that Beau has recently moved back to their hometown – and just around the corner from her. Then Kit's ex, a man who once refused to commit, turns up, and now suddenly wants it all back. Kit and Beau then embark on a charade together: pretending to be happy newlyweds to the outside world, while the sportsman's lawyer is actually working to get the marriage annulled.

But the sham of a marriage becomes more real as they gradually rediscover what once attracted them in each other – and more. By the end of the story, there's no question that a drunken ‘I do’ has become one of the best decisions of their lives. Only one obstacle remains: admitting their feelings to each other.

“Blindsided By Fake Love” is not only a romantic story, but a cleverly constructed emotional journey that shows with humour, nostalgia, and tenderness what a second chance can be like when a reckless ‘I do’ has been spoken.

⭐️⭐️⭐️️⭐️/ ️🌶️

This may be one of my favorite books by Abby Greyson yet! Blindsided by Fake Love had me swooning, laughing, and smiling the entire time I was reading this story. I know rugby has been written into sports romances as well, but this is my first time reading it and I am hooked. And as always, Abby gives her readers everything they want in a romance! Don’t let the clean romance genre make you think there isn’t heat and sizzle! Our MCs bring all of that to the table just without the open door spice.

Beau Matthews is 100% dedicated to his sport and keeping himself in prime shape for it. Following a huge win, he does agree to go out with his teammates to celebrate! While out hitting the town, his team notices a bride sitting alone who looks vaguely familiar to Beau. To his surprise it is his high school nemesis who has been left at the altar. They may have been nemesis but Beau isn’t going to leave someone in need. Imagine his shock when he wakes up the next morning with her in his bed and rings on both their left hands!

Kit Garrett is humiliated, heart broken, and understandably angry! Her fiance left her at the altar and in a heightened state of emotion, drowns her sorrows. When she wakes up and realizes her high school nemesis, Beau, is laying next to her, she can’t believe they got married. All through high school he tormented her, why would he marry her? Oh boy! But as Beau begins to show a side of himself that she has never seen before, she begins to let her guard down as well.

As these two grew closer and closer, it became evident feelings had been around a lot longer than just recently. The way Beau dotes on Kit made my heart leap! When Kit’s ex shows back up, wanting another chance, I was shocked that Kit didn’t tell him to hit the road almost immediately. But this made Beau realize what Kit truly means to him and fight for her. Abby wrote a wonderfully sweet and romantic story. With characters that were easy to connect to, a rugby team that truly supported each other, and Kit’s sister always in her corner, this book is hard to not love. Abby has set the bar high for the Sweet Sports Kisses series and I can’t wait to see what happens next!

As always, review any author notes before reading.

I was drawn into this dramatic story from the very beginning. The characters are well-developed, relatable, and I felt as if I knew them. Beau is a rugby player for the Ironclad Marauders. His days of celebrating and partying after a win are over for him and his teammates understand. They do get him to agree to go with them, but he won’t do any drinking. They try to get him to have just one, but he tells them he’ll be the designated driver. He does raise his glass to support their toast. But there’s a slight problem, a lady’s voice calls out his name which causes everyone to turn and see who it could be. She’s wearing a wedding dress and waving her bouquet around. It’s Kit and he’s not sure if she’s going to hug him or slap him. They’ve known each other for a long time. He was the one who tried to make her life miserable, but not because he didn’t like her. He was crazy about her and wanted to protect her. It seems as if her fiancé has left her at the altar. All the guys tell her she dodged a bullet and even Beau takes a shot or two or three.
The next morning as Beau begins to wake up with exploding pain throughout his skull. He doesn’t remember getting wasted, but he turns his head and there beside him is Kit (fully dressed in her wedding gown). He begins to think back about last night and an image of them standing at an altar pops into his mind. Then he notices a gold band on his left hand. Kit awakens and he tells her in a rushed sentence about their marriage. She, of course, can’t figure out what he said. But then, as her brain awakens, she knows what he said. He promises to call his lawyer and take care of this mistake. Kit can only think that “This is the man I could’ve married years ago.”
What will happen between the two of them? How long will it take to get an annulment and is that even possible? Will they have second thoughts about dissolving the marriage? Getting an annulment isn’t as simple as signing a form, it’s so much more. You don’t want to miss this wonderful story that will have you reading way past your bedtime.

Before I begin, I would like to thank Abby Greyson for allowing me to read a copy of her upcoming book, Blindsided By Fake Love, which is part of the Sweet Sport Kisses multi-author series and will be available on Amazon on May 7th, 2025.

Beau Matthews, the Blindside Flanker for the Ironclad Marauders, doesn’t like partying. When he reluctantly agrees to go to Vegas with his teammates, he sees Kit Garrett, his high school nemesis, alone in a wedding dress. Twelve hours later, he wakes up with a huge headache, a ring on his finger, and Kit sleeping next to him. Kit Garrett originally was supposed to get married until her fiance left her at the altar. Next thing she knows, she’s waking up next to Beau and thinks it was a mistake. But as they spend more time together, maybe Kit and Beau realize that it was meant to be.

This book was great. You have Kit, a hardworking, intelligent, determined, honest, kind, and beautiful young woman that loves taking care of animals and hanging out with friends. You have Beau, a strong, charming, considerate, and handsome young man that is a talented professional rugby player who does his best to look after his loved ones and spend time with them. The banter between Beau and Kit was funny, vulnerable and sweet. I loved how their friends seemed to ship the main characters right from the beginning. The main characters had doubts that were relatable, especially given their history, and cheered them on as they grew more confident in themselves and each other. I haven’t read a rugby romance before and enjoyed this one very much. Overall, if you like rugby, great found family, animals, banter, and sweet marriage of convenience / frenemies romance with low spice, then I highly recommend this book.

Seriously, what man keeps his fiancé on the hook for years, convinces her to travel to Vegas to get married, then publicly leaves her at the altar? Kit’s ex Scott, that’s who. Good thing Beau, the man she considered to be the bane of her existence for almost her whole life, is there to help pick up the pieces. Which, somehow, turns into the two of them getting married, but Kit doesn’t remember anything after running into Beau. (She got really drunk.)

The thing is, Beau has always loved Kit, but when they were teenagers, he didn’t know how to express it, and instead, he teased her almost constantly.

Funny how an accidental (but not really) marriage can pull the wool away from one’s eyes.

Also, no man who truly wants to marry you is going to have an engagement that lasts years. Seriously, that guy can just jog on.

This is a short read, but very entertaining and sweet. Beau and Kit are obviously meant for each other, but it takes Kit a lot longer than Beau to come to that realization. Add in the complication of her ex deciding he wants her back, and we’ve got miscommunication central going on here. Heaven forbid people just have an honest conversation. (We humans are so weird sometimes.)

Naturally, this is going to have an HEA, so you don’t need to worry on that front. I loved the banter between Beau and Kit, and I loved how infatuated they were with each other. This is my first time reading this author, and it definitely won’t be the last. Get your warm fuzzies right here, folks!

The stars have finally aligned in Vegas for two high school friends who have both pined for each other since high school (even thought neither one will admit it to the other). But the way this comes about is definitely a story to tell.

Beau is a professional rugby player hanging out with his teammates in Vegas celebrating their recent victory. They are being their usual prankster/joking selves as they prod him about his choice of soda over their drink choices. He thinks his eyes are deceiving him when he sees his high school nemesis (or the one that got away), Kit. Kit is coming toward him calling his name, and she is wearing a wedding dress. I knew from this first scene that this was going to be a good one.

Laughing, smiling and swooning are definitely requirements when reading this book. Beau was such a doll. I loved his gentlemanly ways, but he really stole my heart when I found out what he does with his free time. He mentors young men through an organization called Play It Forward. He is a professional athlete who is humble, kind and gives back to his community. This guy is the whole tamale. Fan me a little now.

This short and sweet novella will make your day if you need a little pick me up. I love sports. However, I know absolutely nothing about rugby, but it made no difference because the main story was the relationship between Kit and Beau. So, don't let your this being a sports romance deter you from reading this wonderful, funny romance.

Thank you to the author for this ARC. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Time for a super cute (and super late) ARC read by one of my favorite sweet romance authors @

I always adore her cute stories and this novella was absolutely adorable.

Beau
Plays professional rugby and is not one to party ever but when his younger teammates beg him and drag him out to Vegas his whole life changes. What happens in Vegas does not always stay in Vegas. He always keeps his guard up and the one time he doesn't he ends up with a wife. He is an incredibly kind and loving guy who likes to push her buttons just to see her reaction. Him in the mentor program is seriously the cutest thing.

Kit
She is a stubborn hotheaded women who never backs down when Beau challenges her. She was set to marry a different man when she was left behind. The worst night happened to turn into the best night of her life even if she doesn't remember it. She is a loving vet who cares about animals and people. They both live in a small town and everyone knows everything.

I seriously always love easter eggs where previous characters sneak in the story :) I got so excited when they appeared.

Her sister absolutely needs a story with the golfer. Her being such a sports girl makes me incredibly happy. I love sports and could relate a lot to her in the little bit we saw.

The play it forward was so cute and I can't wait to see what comes next. My only complaint is I wanted more and more haha but in all seriousness it was perfect the way it was and his teammates are seriously the best!

I LOVE this author!! While I didn’t connect as well with these characters as I have in her previous books; (Accidentally Checked By My Brother’s Best Friend [Amazon.com: Accidentally Checked By My Brother's Best Friend: A Sweet, Fake Dating, Hockey RomCom (Accidentally In Sports Book 3) eBook : Greyson, Abby: Kindle Store ] was my ultimate favorite of hers!) it was still an amazing book!!!
While it has Rugby in it but that’s not such a big part that a reader who knows nothing about the sport (ie: ME!!) isn’t able to enjoy it! (The heaviest sports part is in the first chapter, so if you’re like me and get overwhelmed, DON’T give up!!) It’s really treated as no more than the MMC’s job.
A minor thing but a part that I was so happy to see was the athletic “pay it forward” program. To me this gave the book a little more of a boost to make it realistic and something a reader can relate to.
Using the following scale to determine my rating for the book, I give it another solid 5 stars.
5 = This was great/good/perfect!
4 = This was good/acceptable.
3 = Needs improvement/bad
2 = This was awful.
1 = This person should never be allowed to write a book again.

*I was gifted the privilege to read an ARC copy of the novel in exchange for my honest and fair review! 😇

While they were at the bar enjoying their time,he heard a voice calling him ,when he turned he saw a woman with a wedding dress, he knew her , last he saw her after graduation. She jumped on him and started kissing him .

Kit was ditch from her fiance at the altar,
After being engaged for years , he suggested they go to Vegas and get married.
The day after she woke up by the guy she had a crush when she was younger. She thought she was dreaming but he was in front of her, He tells her do you remember of last night, but she was blank.
He says that they got married but he assured her that his attorney will handle everything.
He took her number and said that he will contact her soon. Then left the room because he can’t miss the flight.
Her sister called when she tells her the whole story she said that he always had something for her but she always thought of him that he teased her because he never liked her.
When she returned to her place she heard someone calling her , when she turned she saw Beau he said he lives round the corner.

I received an ARC from the author but wasn’t required to post a review. This is my honest, voluntary impression I had after reading this book.

Abby has done it again crafting a book that is a delight to read! Two people who were in love with each other in high school haven’t seen each other since those times meet under different circumstances for sure but what happens can only be described as two people who have been given a second chance when they recognize immediately that their feelings for each other haven’t changed at all!

This romcom is one you’ll enjoy reading and smiling at the opportunity for them to finally do something about how they’ve felt for so many years! It’s always great when real feelings are expressed between two people that each recognize as genuine and the real deal!

I throughly enjoyed this book and enthusiastically recommend it to one and all! Once again though one needs to remember to just ask the person if you have a question about what you thought you saw or heard and not believe what you only think you heard or saw!

This is the first in a new series by multiple authors and if this book is any indication this series will be a big hit with readers everywhere!

This novella is a charming and satisfying romantic comedy that blends humour, heart, and heat with expert finesse.

In Abby Greyson’s fresh take on the unplanned marriage trope, former high school rivals Beau and Kit meet by accident in Las Vegas. Next morning they wake up married after a drunken night.

The plot is engaging and well-paced, with just the right amount of twists, misunderstandings, and heartfelt moments to keep readers hooked.

The characters are the true highlight. Beau is a rugged yet well grounded hero, while Kit is strong, smart, and relatable. Their chemistry crackles, and their banter feels authentic, laced with history and buried feelings.

Secondary characters like Beau’s teammates and Kit’s sister add richness and levity without overshadowing the leads.

Greyson’s writing style is witty and warm, balancing internal emotion with external action.

Dialogue flows naturally, and the alternating perspectives offer deep emotional insight without slowing the narrative.

The book could benefit from trimming some of the introspective passages in the middle, to improve pacing.

However, this minor flaw doesn’t detract from an enjoyable book.

Fans of second-chance romance will find this story swoon-worthy and genuinely fun.

Rugby! Need I say more?

Professional rugby player, Beau Matthews gets the surprise of a lifetime when he runs into his high school nemesis and jilted bride, Christy “Kit” Garrett in Las Vegas. When he wakes up with a ring on his finger, and Kit asleep next to him, Beau thinks he may finally have a second chance with the one who got away. The only problem? Kit doesn’t remember getting married. They agree to go their separate ways, but fate seems to have a different plan when they both end up in their hometown. Kit’s veterinarian practice is the perfect place for Beau to bring his Play It Forward mentee, Jack, and gives them a reason to reconnect and reconsider that annulment they discussed.

This was such a fun read! I loved learning a little more about rugby and Kit and Beau have the cutest second chance story. I loved seeing Kit be strong when faced with her past. I also appreciated Beau having good men in his corner who helped him see things clearly when he jumped to conclusions. And the kisses? SOOOO good!

This second chance, enemies to lovers, marriage of convenience romcom is a great kick-off to the Sweet Sports Kisses multi-author series, with a cinnamon roll hero, small town vibes, and sweet and swoony kisses.

Is a second chance, marriage of convenience romcom with no cliffhanger.
Some of the lines I really like --- “The decision is ultimately yours. Hopefully, it’s not one you regret…again.” --- “Though once you decide to stay married, you’re never going to hear the end of it.” -----"When life throws you an unexpected curve, make some lemonade.” --- “Popularity is code for what other people think about you. It doesn’t dictate how well-liked you are. Or, more importantly, whether or not you’re a good human being.” --- "how people treat you is a reflection of their character. What you do with it is a reflection of yours.” --- "What people say to you or think about you isn’t as important as what you think and feel about yourself." --- “The key is to let everything, whatever it is, roll off. It’s not easy, and takes practice to execute it. But once you get it, it changes everything.” --- “Sometimes life throws you curveballs that lead you in directions you never considered.” ---
What's Karate Kid up to? What's Mike up to? What's Gen up to? What's Scott up to? These and other questions will all be answered.
I loved Kit and Beau's story and I'm sure you will too. I can't wait to read her next book.

Blindsided by Fake Love by Abby Greyson is a sports romance novel and the story of Beau and Kit, childhood sweethearts who meet after some years in Las Vegas. Beau is a rugby player and when Kit crashed a celebration party, dressed in a wedding dress, he cannot believe his eyes. The next morning, they find themselves married.

This was such a lovely story, and the sport, rugby, was a sport I have not come across in another sports romance novel. Both Beau and Kit are great characters, you can relate to both of them. While Beau wants to be married to Kit, as he has not forgotten her, he does not let that show. When they happen to be neighbours, he gets the chance to win her over. Their interactions are great and as it is a dual POV in this delightful book, we also get to know how they both feel. The writing style is flowing and easy.

Blindsided by Fake Love is a sweet sports romance novel, in which the main characters get a second chance. It is filled with humour, some drama, funny situations and a MMC and a FMC who just belong together. Recommended, but all Abby Greyson novels are a joy to read.

This was a sweet quick read about Beau and Kit, who almost had a moment at the end of senior year of high school. Unfortunately, miscommunication and stubbornness got in the way. Beau went on to play professional rugby out of state and Kit stayed in town settling down with jerk Scott who ultimately leaves her at the alter in Vegas after 2 years of dating.

It's here that Beau, whose team is celebrating a recent victory, sees Kit again. Unfortunately, it's right after Scott abandons her and she has decided getting drunk is the perfect way to deal with her embarrassment and hurt. She ends up hanging at the bar with Beau's teammates who are more than willing to cheer her up. Beau, not normally a drinker, sticks around because he's still enamored with Kit and he hates that she is in pain. The next morning, they wake up married and the journey from that point to their HEA is one of fate, opening themselves up to their real feelings and taking risks.

It's a sweet, pleasant clean read that warms the heart.

This is one of those books that just leaves you feeling good…a clean but still heated enough with kisses and desirable thoughts to be realistic in showing their attraction to each other. It’s the story of a Las Vegas runaway bride running into the arms of the guy she wanted back in high school in the small town of Starhaven, North Carolina. The guy now a professional rugby player in Las Vegas for a game being totally surprised when the woman he’s always wanted runs into his arms wearing a bridal dress and kisses him in front of all his teammates. But they will both will have an even bigger surprise coming.
The joking and jeering from the teammates and the teasing banter between Beau and Kit give this sweet romance its humorous and endearing moments. The book is listed as a marriage of convenience romcom but I see it more as a second chance romance with a bit of enemies-to-love vibe that includes a runaway bride and a Vegas wedding. It’s book one in the multi-Arthur Sweet Sport Kisses series and I think it’s a perfect way to kick-off this series.

“Marrying you was the craziest thing I’ve ever done. But I’m so glad I found you at the lowest point in my life.”

Don’t let the closed door, kisses only of this book deter you. Abby Greyson will still have you swooning, laughing, smiling, and falling in love with her characters.

Kit, a jilted bride, runs into Beau while he’s out celebrating with his rugby team. Beau was a the bane of her existence growing up but it has been hers since she has seen him. One thing leads to another and suddenly they are married. The only problem, Kit doesn’t remember anything about that night. Beau decides he is not going to let her get away again and decides to use this accidental marriage to his advantage.

This is a quick, romantic read that ends with a HEA. The banter between the characters is witty, there is tension, miscommunication, and an Ex who wants her back. I enjoy Abby Greyson’s stories and will continue to keep coming back when looking for a sweet rom-com romance.

I love all things Abby Greyson and this does not disappoint; this is book one in The Sweet Sports Kisses series. Beau Matthews is a professional rugby player with The Ironclad Marauders, of North Carolina. They just finished playing a game in Las Vegas. The guys want to go out and celebrate their win, Beau is not a partier. Beau decides on one drink and to be their designated driver. While at the bar, a woman in a wedding dress comes in calling Beau's name. It is Kit who he knew in high school, and always had a crush on her. She was in Las Vegas to get married to Scott, who left her at the alter. She drinks to much, and wakes up in bed with Beau with her wedding dress still on; and Beau has a wedding ring on. She doesn't remember any of the night before. Beau remembers talking, but not the wedding itself. Does Kit want to stay married, or want an annulment? What does Beau want? Love the plot, great setting, and strong intense interesting characters. I look forward to reading more from Ms. Abby Greyson!!!

Great book, really enjoyed reading it. Sweet read and I couldn’t put it down as I routed for the H as he pursued the h in an effort to keep his dream from his youth. He loved the h but was too insecure to profess his feelings. Over ten years later they meet again when the h, in a wedding gown, sees the H after she is left at the alter. She runs to him and kisses him. He happens to be with his team mates celebrating that days win, and the h is drunk. His old feelings resurfaced and he feels duty bound to protect her. They end up married. The next morning he tells the h what he thinks she wants to hear, she can get an annulment and then leaves. Later that day he sees her again, they live in the same town and just around the corner from each other. This changes every thing and he immediately decides to pursue her and convince her that they should stay married. It isn’t easy but in the end they get their HEA. Hope you enjoy reading this book as much as I did. Enjoy!

Beau, the Blindside Flanker for the Ironclad Marauders rugby team and his teammates are out celebrating a team win when he runs into Kit, his high school nemesis, who also happens to be his secret crush since forever. Kit is having a rough night, she was all set to get married when she is left at the alter. Hours later after running into Beau they wake up…with rings. Will this marriage last? Can Beau win over Kit or was it a mistake?

I really enjoyed this sweet story! I really loved Beau and Kit, they were so relatable. Beau is just the sweetest, wanting to protect her but also knowing when she has it and handle it herself. Just wanting to give her support. I just love a small town and found family and support they offer.

This is book one is the Sweet Sports Kisses Series’s that is a multi author series. A novella that can be read in one sitting with kisses only. I totally recommend this book, light hearted and sweet.

I adore Abby Greyson's stories. Almost always kisses-only, often 2nd chance at love, but ultimately (after many misunderstandings) a true HEA.

This is the first in a multi-author Sports kisses-only romcom series.

Beau is a professional Rugby player celebrating a win with his teammates in Las Vegas when Kit in a beautiful wedding dress quite inebriated after being left at the altar spots Beau her nemesis from high school. They wake up the next morning in bed together and learn they were married by an Elvis look-alike the night before with the entire Rugby team as witnesses. Unfortunately, Kit remembers nothing about the events, and Beau has a roaring hangover and tells Kit he will get it annulled.

The team has moved to town in North Carolina where Kit is living and has opened a Vet Clinic. So as you can guess, eventually the HEA happens! My only regret is that it was too short so 4.5 stars!

I was given a copy of the book by the author but the opinions herein are my own.
