Shaved ice, horror movies, rice-bowl dishes, and self-made keyboards...that’s part of the leisurely weekend fun these girls will experience! There’s also a crossover with Laid-Back Camp!
So, Mono volume 3 was weird. I like the first two arcs with the shaped ice and the movie but I'm still not the biggest fan of the mangaka chapters. Kurokuma is awesome in them but the other two new characters are not really charming or interesting.
The keyboards chapters were also a bit weird. I know that this franchise is doing whatever it wants and I'm fine with that, but Afros hyperfixation with keyboards wasn't exciting at all. Maybe for technology nerds but not for me it seems. With 2 good arcs and 2 weaker arcs this volume left me behind with mixed feelings

More actual story arc chapters, more chapters about the life of a manga creator (making me wonder once again how closely this series is based on real life), and more relaxing chapters about pretty much nothing! I love all these storytelling modes - this series has a Laid-Back Camp feel, with even less focus, and it’s … well, very laid back. Love it.
In this volume: more food tours! The club finally does some more cinema stuff to justify its name, and a manga author replaces her tablet and customizes her keyboard!
