Having learned the truth about her brother, Helena runs away from the orphanage and is found by Mr. Big Bad Wolf, who decides to take her in. After glimpsing Helena’s unfinished picture book, Mr. Big Bad Wolf suggests they work together to complete it. Through their collaboration, little by little, the two grow to understand each other’s pains and learn to face their own insecurities… And perhaps at last, Helena will find a place she can call home.
I might have to buy both physical books so I have a copy for myself. The art styles and story were all lovely.
The Arthur conclusion was a punch out of left field but the resolution was sweet. Bittersweet, of sorts? But I love that they're all striving forwards even though they're aware that there may be more slumps in the future.
What a great story, this story speaks anout grief, renewal and family. This story does finish in two books, but has a great ending. There is a great section that the author writes anout their writing process and inspiration as they get inspiration from previous famous children’s works and creators.
