Due to some-ahem!-cut corners by the transmigration bureau, the last couple of floors of the Skyscraper of Suffering have been connected to actual S-class dungeons. But with only two more floors to go, how can Ailette resist the call? Not that the first one is a walk in the park, but she after deftly taking off the boss, Ailette makes a beeline straight for the top floor. After all, what extraordinary creature could possibly await behind door number two?

Ailette continues her intense training to prepare for the upcoming time loops, tackling the last few floors of the Skyscraper of Suffering. But she's in for a few surprises. New companions, new battles, and new challenges await her. Can she survive her current run-in without altering the story too much?
Another epic story filled with battles and action. The intensity really picks up in this one.
A few minor spelling and formatting issues with the English translation, but they are easy to figure out.
Gorgeous artwork as always. Much of this one takes on a darker toner as Ailette continues her ascent of the Skyscraper of Suffering and takes on new foes.
I do miss some of the original characters, but we're meeting a lot of interesting new ones and the story is progressing well. We've come a long way from little Ailette increasing her XP by preparing food and serving tea.
A fantastic series. Can't wait to see what happens next.
review for season 2 [chapters 43-70] i love that things are progressing so quickly and the main characters are so freaking powerful. i started reading this series in february of 2023 and have been diligently reading every chapter since, waiting for the translation to be out every week. i don’t think we’re near the end yet, cause the main characters are not together…… I NEED THEM TO BE TOGETHER OFFICIALLY. the situation is getting dangerous for them, but ailette and thesilid are both very skilful and powerful. i can’t wait to see what’s next.
review until chapter 42.5 reading manga with younger leads always make me want to speed up time so that they can grow up and be together. Ailette and Thesilid are so adorable together T.T i love that she does what she want and speak however she want without fear. she’s such a toughie but her brother and father are so soft. it’s cute. thesilid has never met someone like her before so every time she does something that surprised him, it’s a delight.
I was worried that in the time since I read the last volume (June, so almost 6 months ago now) I would’ve forgotten what was going on and it’s be hard to follow…it was a bit hard to follow but still really enjoyable.
I’ve kind of given up on trying to fully understand the whole time loop, main character journey part of it and just enjoy Ailette’s character and interaction with others. I feel about as confused as St Agnes but I am still really liking it.
I just wish Ailette and Tesilid had actually said they like each other since they clearly do (him using “defend partner” and her using “heal partner,” come on!) especially since he is supposed to start doing some sort of Quantum Leap after dying a bunch of times? Again… I don’t fully get it but I’m still enjoying it.
I am getting volume 6 very soon so hopefully that’ll quell any worries about not being able to remember what happened and I can just jump straight in…

…and so the plot thickens. I’ve been waiting for the tutorial period to end for a while and it hasn’t even ended yet but we’ve gotten a lot closer. I’m interested to see the change in Tesilid’s character after he experiences the 16 time loops and meets Ailette again. I feel like he’ll be able to maintain his sanity through her memory this time around, but we’ll see. Anyway this new character seems interesting and I can’t wait to read the next volume!

Lord Architect, after 7 years you still didn’t finish the last 2 floors? It’s ok, that just let them reunite! I love how Tez is so stunned to see her, and you can see she’s like a ray of light in his crappy life (which only gets worse after he starts looping!). It’s obvious he remembers her well, since he activated the skill he learned from defeating the toy mansion all those years ago. It’s also funny that he recalls how weak she was then 😅

The first thing being dealing with volume 4's cliff-hanger. There are a number of things that may have consequences.
Then Aliette goes on. Tesilid also appears. She warns him she may not see him again for a time, and goes to make as many preparations as she can for the end of the tutorial. Partly because of a warning.
