Crew and Zara bring us the first book of the series. I loved meeting them in Khyle of the Were Zoo books. Crew is now the alpha, and finding his mate by granting another herd sanctuary is the only benefit for his kindness. Zara is just existing in her herd as nothing more than a housekeeper and cook. I loved how happy she is living with Crew and his people, where she is wanted and appreciated. Her former alpha and his men are determined to cause trouble.

Another great read by R.E. Butler!!
The stallions have their own series and I’m excited to see their family grow!
Zara is part of a small herd who looks down on women. They’re only good for babies, cooking, cleaning 😒 the recently appointed alpha is trying to save his herd (in the worst way possible) and contacts his cousin.
Crew is the alpha of his herd and when one of his guys comes asking for help either their old pack, although a bit weary, he agrees. Thank goodness he did because he and Zara are true mates!😍
However, Zara’s current alpha won’t give her up without a fight and causes a bit of trouble for the Little River Heard.
Super fast paced, could have expanded on some of the story line for me as it felt a bit rushed at times. Spiciness was spicing! Gave that a 2 🌶️! Can’t wait for book 2!

Little River Herd.
I enjoyed this short read by R.E Butler. Crew is an alpha stallion who maintains a small farm with the rest of his small herd. Grey allows another herd to stay for a bit to get on their feet after tragedy struck them. Zara is the only female left of her herd and is treated awful. After meeting Crew and Zara realize they are soulmates. Zara’s old herd causes major problems with Crew and his herd.
Zara and Crew are couple goals. I can’t wait to read what happens next with the herd and their soulmates.

When Alpha Crew gets a request from another herd he agrees to let them come and seek refuge until they can find a piece of land to start their own herd. little did he know he would find his mate and have his herd threated by another alpha who brought his mate with them.

Excellent start to a new series
Branching out from the Adventure park filled w II th mysterious shifters, welcome to Little River. Here lives an even more secretive and mysterious herd of horse shifters. Join the stallions as they work their farm and find their mates. Throw in a bit of intrigue a threatening rival herd and romance and you have a fun read.

If you love the were zoo books like me, be sure to read this spin-off! And great to see some “old” faces.
Crew and Zara fit so well together but will have to go through some tough times because of Zara’s old stallion herd. I will be looking forwards to the next installment in this series to follow the Little River Stallions.

I just love a quick shifter book and RE Butler knows how I like them. Some suspense, fated mates meeting, and intertwined storylines. I love seeing characters for her other Safari series. I love that we are getting to see more on the very secretive Stallion shifters. So, that means I loved the book. 2 chilies for spiciness. Would recommend to shifter story lovers.

Love the series
Love Zara. She is very brave and pushes back when she can. I don't think she believes Coltons story about how TBE herd died. Maybe that's just me. Colton is a vindictive problem. Crew and The Little River Herd welcome Zara. She finally finds a place that she belongs. I don't think we have seen TBE last of Colton.

It was pretty good but I'm curious about a few things. I hate it leaves me hanging about what will happen next. Lol crew was lonely and worried about his future but he was surprised about what happened, it was like a dream coming true.

Loved the characters and the story line. Crew finally gets his hea. Lots of action, some sexyness and the story will continue in the next book.
