I have been waiting sooooooooo long for the second book in the No Mercy series and this exceeded my expectations and then some!!! More spice, more angst, insane plot, and amazing character development 😍
I love how this carried on from book one right from the very start, I was not done with Axel and Eva - Louise, you are a real one for this! This book took me on, quite literally, the craziest rollercoaster of emotions, I was seriously HOOKED.
I generally thought Axel was my kind of guy, BUT ANT??? This man, even in his silence, is the cheekiest, caring, and most mysterious character I've read in a book - there's just something about a mute character that's kinda sexy and reels me in more more; I was straight up INVESTED in every interaction with him. After learning about Ant's past, his whole story made sense and it made me love him even more - let's also not ignore the fact that Mandy was so damn patient and calm with him during this time, it became clear she was made for him in every single way.
Talking about rollercoasters, the fairground scene though!! 🥹🥹🥹 I don't want to spoil anything, but that had my whole heart. Every chapter went from strength to strength. The second half of the book, my jaw was on the floor; the story transitions into the craziest plot which I did not see coming - I was genuinely wide-eyed and captivated that I couldn't stop reading, their world sucked me in and spat me right back out again when it ended.
What a freakin' journey! Honestly, if you've not started this series, I would HIGHLY recommend! From the ending of No Mistakes, it certainly looks like the Ashford Brothers are not going anywhere anytime soon 😏 Flynn, baby, I'm looking at you 👀

After leaving Chicago, the Ashford brothers thought they’d never be back but there’s a power struggle within the city and someone has been after them. I have been waiting for this book for SO LONG and it didn’t disappoint!! I thought it was always going to be Axel for me but nope, Ant has stolen my heart and I have no regrets! This book picked up where book one left off so we see the aftermath of THAT reveal playing out and everything that follows. We also get to see Ant and Mandy’s love story play out and boy was it good! Don’t even get me started on those flashbacks because my heart 🥺😩 Ant is even more perfect than Axel because he has his traumas and the things he does for Mandy? Argh don’t even!! So many questions have been answered and I know we’re going to get more answers in the next book- which I am now desperate for! These brothers have me in a chokehold and I’m not even mad about it! Louise- you have outdone yourself on this one and sorry not sorry for the messages as I was reading 🤣❤️

even 20 pages in I had already nearly cried n most definitely had laughed 😂
I forgot how much I loved axel n Eva's relationship.
Flynn is absolutely hilarious with out trying 😂
The plot was perfect

The emotional rollercoaster I felt reading this my heart broke for Eva all over again but of course no matter what is thrown her way she rises up n proves she's a badass.
So many secrets n plot twists I can't begin to explain how many emotions I felt reading this. Absolute perfection of shock, sadness, anger , love, lust, laughter.
The plot follows perfectly from no mercy. You get to see the characters develop more of the plot develop.

I'll try not to spoil this for anyone but WOW
I was lucky enough to be apart of the arc team and read this early.
I was absolutely obsessed with the first book, no mercy. We were left on a cliff hanger and I couldn't wait to get my hands on no Mistakes to keep reading.
This book definitely did not disappoint. We pick up where the first book ended and get some answers. Axel and Eva's relationship was my favourite in the first book and I was obsessed with Axel. I still am but we get to see Ant and how his relationship with Mandy develops.
I loved it. There is spice, twists, action, suspense I could not put it down I needed to keep reading. We also find out more about Ant and his past.
I can not wait for the rest of the series to find out more about the Ashford brothers. Looking forward to receiving my physical copy of no Mistakes which I will definitely be reading again. ( I pre ordered it right after reading no mercy)

LOUISE!!! You had me squealing, laughing, scared when I saw how long was left in the book, anxious, upset and happy. I really went through the emotions there.
I absolutely loved Ant in no mercy and I love him even more now. There is so much I want to put into this review but I don’t want to spoil it for anyone, but believe me you will not be disappointed! If you haven’t done so already read No Mercy then grab a copy of this book.
I loved the continuation of Axel and Eva’s story as well as Ant and Mandy’s. The multiple POVs was a great idea for this book.
The Ashford family lives on in my heart and this book definitely has a HEA unlike the first one (I had many questions).
Louise you are an auto buy and read author for me and so glad I’ve been on your author journey with you since the beginning and can’t wait to see what else you bring to the table.

Louise you’ve done it again! What a great book!
I’m speechless 😂 I’ve already read this book three (!!!) times, and I can’t get enough.
I love that we got more of Eva and Axel, but also sassy Mandy and Ant in this book.
Such perfect couples, how they makes each other feel safe and loved. How they help the other to heal some, or start to heal. And trust. All the characters in the family, I love each of them so much, and I can’t get enough.
There isn’t one thing I didn’t love about this book. It got me gasping, staring wide eyed, laughing and wanting more. What more can I ask for?!
If you want to try to read dark romance, this series is perfect!
And if you like a good book, just.. just read it 👌👌

This book made me feel all the emotions!

If you don’t like slow burn trust me this will change your mind!🫢

Wow what can I say! The growth the author has shown from book one to book two is unreal. It gripped me from the beginning hooked in a way I didn’t want to put it down! The storyline and character development was soooo good things I never saw coming, came! Love love love all the characters and how Mandy bought Ant alive! The banter between the brothers showcasing their relationship and the set up for the next book I’m just in awe how much I loved this book! Louise you smashed it again! Cannot wait for the next!

I don't have the words! Not only did this book pick up from where it left us in no mercy, but it had 4 POV's. I loved how it continued from Axel and Eva's story, but it was the start of Ant and Mandy's. The suspense, the spice, was everything and more. The Ashford Brothers are my favourite Mafia read. This took me less than 24 hours to finish, and my only regret was actually finishing the book. Louise, you did it again 👏

If I could give more stars I would do! I loved this book! I’ve already told two friends that they are to read this book as soon as it comes out! The plot, the character development, the spice! Brilliantly written! Cried half way through (those who have read will understand!) well worth the read! Kinda wishing I could read it for the first time again.

I’ve been waiting for book 2 to come out since the moment I finished No Mercy. I liked book 1, but my god book 2.. chokehold.
The yearning, the tension, the slow burn, the groveling.. where No Mercy was very fast paced and maybe lacked a little bit of depth, No Mistakes makes up for it 10 fold.
I am absolutely obsessed with Ant, and don’t tell the others, but he’s my favorite brother.
Louise, I know how stressed you were about wanting book 2 to be perfect, you did it girl, I loved every moment of it.
The yearning, the tension, the slow burn, the groveling.. where No Mercy was very fast paced and maybe lacked a little bit of depth, No Mistakes makes up for it 10 fold.
I am absolutely obsessed with Ant, and don’t tell the others, but he’s my favorite brother.

After a long wait, we finally have the story of Ant, our broken boy who stole our hearts.
In No Mercy, Louise left us speechless and craving to know what would happen with Axel and Eva, and in this second installment, we see Axel fight for Eva, while we also enjoy watching Ant and Mandy's love story unfold.
It's hard to review this book without spoiling the ending, so go pick it up and read it—it's a truly wonderful book!

Getting the Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) of this book was an absolute pleasure! When I say this story put me through the wringer, I mean it—I was laughing, I was smiling, and I was genuinely angry at the characters... I even cried! I experienced the full emotional spectrum and devoured this book completely.
Book 1 was phenomenal, but Book 2 blows it out of the water! The ongoing saga of the Ashford Brothers is pure, captivating chaos. Their tension and dynamic are electric, and I’m already desperate to know what happens next in Book 3.
READ THIS BOOK! It’s an easy five-star recommendation.
