Mia Starling, I am not happy with you. As an author, you have disappointed me. This book is really fun… Until you get to the last page and you flip to see what happens and there is nothing. No, the end. It just simply ends. And when you go look for another book does not exist.. This book was published in March 2025, it feels like this is the extended version of the book apps that make you pay for the next story. Which is disappointing. I feel like instead of a five minute read, I had a 3-4 hour read only to be told if I want the next book. I have to go pay for it. Somewhere else, those book apps are horrible. That’s why I went to Kindle so I could read a series thru, and not have to go find or wait or purchase points. It’s very disappointing.
It just ends without finishing the story. You're just left hanging. The mmc is an Ass. The mfc is wishy washy most of the time. It has potential to be a great book, but it falls short. I'm glad it was on ku and didn't actually cost anything. Happy Reading
Painful. So painful. She is the doormat to her own life. From a cheating husband to emotionally blackmailing mother and brothers. She constantly goes back for more. I skimmed most of it but we end where we started-she is (and always will be)a sucker for punishment.
The title is what caught my attention. The story not so much. Story plot is a cluster of different situations and the story line shifted plenty. The heroine is missing an extreme backbone and is portrayed as a victim. The sentence, "Why does he treat me like this?" Was in basically every chapter. Ends in a very disappointing cliffhanger with now character growth.
