As M.M. Crumley I write Urban Fantasy books full of supernatural action, nail-biting-mystery and; laugh-out-loud humor. Why? Because stories, myths, and legends have always been a huge part of my life... As a child, I liked nothing better than to lose myself in a world where magic and heroes were part of the fabric of existence.
As my pen name M.M. Boulder I write psychological thrillers and murder mysteries that bring the darker impulses we may not feel completely comfortable with into the light. My stories are full of lies and deaths, but there is always justice. A type of justice that's not afraid to get its hands dirty. I write morally ambiguous characters who are pushed to their limits and take matters into their own hands. In my world getting away with murder has never been so much fun!
No matter what I write every one of my characters are real to me. They exist. They are three-dimensional beings who demand that their stories be told. If I were to turn away from them, they would haunt me; and so I don't. Instead I chase after them and write down everything they say!

It was great to see the growth/maturity that Janey found in this story. She still has her "creep hunter" mentality so I can see why Doc Holliday might be a bit scared of her. The book does show how the people we meet, and interface with, can help to shape our future (good or bad).
There are many sides to Janey Falke and she is definitely her own person, but she is true to her friends and adopted family.
The change in her relationship with St. John was one of the highlights of the story for me but it came with an ending that covered many emotions. The story was well-written so the reader can share in the emotional ups-and-downs right along with the characters. By the end of the book, I was encouraged to re-read the other series (Doc Holliday and Andrew Rufus).

Janey for the win
Ms.Crumley has outdone herself with this series. I’ve read everything she has written and love Andrew and his tribe and Doc Halliday and his crew, but this series has made me laugh and cry all in the same page almost. It is a wonderful story of hope. I wish it all was true.

Janey’s story is everything
I love everything I’ve read by this author and this series has been no exception. This book brings Janey’s series to a close, but it will stay in my memory as one that has had a huge impact. Janey is unique, she is powerful, and she pulls on all of your emotions. Her story is told so well, painted so vividly - it is both heartbreaking and joyful. It is one not to be missed, because Janey is special and unforgettable.

Absolutely Perfect

It takes an incredible author to make us feel sympathy and even love for a man that we've disliked for three books. That was a stunning piece of writing.
The piece of perfection was Janey and Andrews first meeting!
I thought the story's ending was very well done and how each character found happiness was a piece of art. While I am sad to see this series end the way it ended was very well done.

Sad it's all over.
I hope all you Faulkeaholics out there enjoyed this as much as I did. I'm sad to see Janey go off to the blue yonder, but what a storyline to go out on. Creeps 0 Janey.... too many to count!

Perfect Ending For An Enjoyable Series
I don’t think I’ve ever cried as much while reading a book as I did during this one, but at the end, I was left with a very satisfied smile. Read the whole series; you won’t be sorry.

Fun book and great series. I’m not sure I fully believed the relationship between Janey and St. John in the end but still a good read. I would have liked to see more of the story involving Andrew and Janey.

This was a great series, and there was a hell of a twist in this one that I never expected. This story made me laugh and cry several times. I'm glad we got to know Janey.
