Holden (25) - Commander of DAISY, the Special Forces unit of the SURCON Empire. Due to traumatic childhood experiences, he struggles to feel emotions. He had been mechanically following military orders, destined to be discarded soon. However, after meeting Benjy, he begins to desire something more and decides to break free from the chains of fate binding him.
Benjy (21) - A cryptography prodigy who enlisted to rescue his mother after she was taken by the military. From his first day on duty, he's been plotting to find her and escape. Though from a low-ranking background, poor, and lacking self-confidence, he gradually transforms while enduring hardships within the military. He falls for Commander Holden, the first person to ever show interest in him, and bravely attempts to get closer, only to retreat in fear when confronted with Holden's ruthless side. Yet he can't easily sever his connection with Holden—the first person he's ever truly desired.

Benjy comienza a trabajar en el cuartel general del ejército, donde se dedica a desencriptar códigos.
Por un lado, está Benjy, que siempre ha vivido en una de las zonas más pobres del territorio, con una madre enferma y trabajando sin parar hasta que lo reclutan.
Por otro lado, está Holden, el jefe de la unidad Daisy, la unidad más aclamada y con la peor reputación de todas, pues se encargan del «trabajo sucio». Holden tiene fama de ser una persona peligrosa y despiadada, pero para Benjy es un ser extremadamente hermoso y amable.
Ganas de leer el siguiente volumen.
