The only way an alpha billionaire can hold on to the perfect woman is to keep his identity a secret in an emotional and blisteringly hot romance by USA Today bestselling author Marni Mann.
Maya and Jordan can’t keep their eyes off one another. They see each other on their daily runs, exchanging heated glances and lingering smiles as part of their routine. What’s not to notice? Maya with her perfect body and teasing smile. Jordan, a former professional hockey player, with his chiseled muscles and undeniable alpha personality. First comes the hello, then a kiss, followed by an uninhibited desire that sets their mornings on fire.
Jordan normally doesn’t date, but this Boston nurse is a beauty he wants to know inside and out. She’s gorgeous, sassy, and keeps him on his toes. He’s falling fast. She is too. There’s just one Maya loathes the rich. She has her reasons. She also has no idea that Jordan is actually a billionaire CEO who owns the most expensive penthouse in the city, a collection of exotic cars, and half of Boston.
The only way for this grumpy alphahole to hold on to Maya is to keep his secret hidden. Because once the truth is out, everything about this addictive, sensuous, once-in-a-lifetime connection will come crashing down.
USA Today Bestselling author Marni Mann knew she was going to be a writer since middle school. While other girls her age were daydreaming about teenage pop stars, Marni was fantasizing about penning her first novel. She crafts sexy, titillating stories that weave together her love of darkness, mystery, passion, and human emotions. A New Englander at heart, she now lives in Sarasota, Florida, with her husband and their Yellow Lab. When she’s not nose deep in her laptop, working on her next novel, she’s scouring for chocolate, sipping wine, traveling, or devouring fabulous books.
Jordan and Maya take the same route on their morning run every day. Each unwittingly going the extra mile – literally – to exchange flirty glances. Until one day, fate steps in and they finally meet {cute} as he saves her life.
From that moment, sparks fly and, despite never having been in a relationship, Jordan will stop at nothing to win the guarded nurse’s heart – even keep his last name, former career, and family legacy a secret.
I’d give this one a million stars, if I could. Dramatic much? Yes, obviously. I was invested from the first page and absolutely fell in love with these two. And Bettie!
Marni found the perfect blend of tension and passion. She also made me a nervous wreck waiting on Maya to discover what Jordan was keeping from her. While Maya’s strength and grit are characteristics I loved about her, I equally loved that she was willing to put aside years of pain and anger in the name of her HEA.
This was my first Marni Mann book and it will not be my last. I am eagerly awaiting what story will emerge from the bomb Emily is holding!!

Ladies and gentlemen, my girl Marni did it again! She delivered me a smutty good time with an overly confident playboy who turns into a puddle of mush for one girl. If there is one thing that remains consistent with each and every single book that Marni delivers us, its an over confident alpha hero who is allergic to any type of romantic monogamy until he lays eyes on her. The unicorn that has the ability to bring that alpha hero to his knees. And guess what? I'm fucking here for it. I gobble that shit up like it's thanksgiving day and I say thank you to my fairy smut mother EVERY 👏 SINGLE 👏 TIME 👏. She truly writes the best cocky billionaire heroes. In fact, it should be studied how she enters into the male psyche so perfectly to deliver a delicious smutty good time.
Now that we got that out of the way, are you read to fall for Jordan and Maya? I truly hope you are reading to hold on tight because these two fall as fast as they run. And yes that's a pun because they run together. In fact that's how they met. They have this really cool chance encounter while running one morning and Jordan was so fascinated by her perfect peach that he can't get enough so he runs every single day, the same exact route so can admire her from behind for 5 miles... if that's not romance I dont know what is lol Ok but for real, this plot was so unique and unlike anything I have read recently. I loved their meet cute. I loved how they made running their thing. A good majority of their relationship in this book was their morning runs where they got to know each other very intimately 👀 Yes they might have had a romp in a very public area one morning instead of running. Did I mention this one is spicy? Marni isn't coined my fairy smut mother for no reason.
Besides their meet cute and spice, I really loved this plot line. Jordan and Maya, grew up very differently. Jordan, is an ex NHL player and a billionaire, whereas, Maya grew up very poor with a single mother. In fact, the Worthington name is not viewed in a positive light in her household because they lost their home because of the Worthington's. Which leads to Jordan lying about his identity. Granted her started off lying because he enjoyed the fact that Maya didn't know who he was but continued with that lie after finding out how she views his family. This just added to the plot, tension and ultimate the conflict they needed to rise above.
At the end of the day, Marni, you hit this one out of the freaking park! I literally could not put this book down. It was everything I come to expect from you. So please you guys, don't forget to add this one to your TBR!
You should definitely read this book if you like: - Billionaire Romance - Alpha Hero - OTT Confident/Cocky MMC - Reformed Play Boy - Man OBSESSED - Formed Hockey Player - Nurse FMC - Opposites Attract - Opposite Side of the Tracks - Secret Identity - Chance Encounter
* I would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Marni Mann and Valentine PR for allowing me the absolute pleasure to read A Million Times, Yes as an ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts, opinions and review.
Fastest DNF ever at Chapter 1, paragraph 3 due to the following quote:
As a thirty-three-year-old bachelor who had been chasing pussy since high school like I'd once skated after the puck, dominating Boston both sexually and financially was my agenda.🤮🤡🤮🤡🤮🤡🤮🤡🤮🤡🤮🤡🤮🤡🤮🤡
Then he proceeds to tell us how he looks in the mirror, washes his face, brushes his teeth, puts his contacts in, etc. And he's not even a 17-year-old girl starting a new school. No, he's a 33-year-old P#SSY CHASER 💀
This was a short, quick, and extra spicy read. It's definitely an insta-love story, which is not totally my vibe unfortunately. They did however have instant chemistry and a strong connection from the start. It was different from most hockey romances since the MMC is retired hockey player and there isn't much sports content in the book. It's still sports romance adjacent, but I was missing the usual sports aspects. One of the biggest pros is that the story line was a unique concept that felt different from most romance books. The MMC's grandma was also adorable and probably my favorite character from the book. I wish I would have loved this one more, but I'm looking forward to Gavin and Emily's story in book two.
This was a very quick read, but it was 2.5 stars for me. It was just too fast. There was a connection between the characters, but this was almost more steam than plot. It started with a literal bang and then somehow the next chapter we are a few weeks later. The "third act breakup" was right in the middle. It didn't seem like there was enough character connection between these two for them to be able to make it on the other side. This felt different from the other books I have read by Marni. I didn't feel like there was enough time or meat for me to really understand and connect with these characters.
Maya has been seeing her hot mystery man on her runs for the past few weeks, and then one day they start talking. Talking leads to more. It leads to a one night stand during the day which is beyond unlike Maya, but there is something about Jordan that brings out this other side in her. But he made it clear that he doesn't date. Yet somehow they are now texting regularly. And eating together. And sleeping over. So she realizes they are in fact dating. But then she learns the truth of who he really is. He is everything she stands against. Everything she has struggled with her whole life, and yet somehow she knows he is her person. Her world is dimmer without him. Will she be able see that his last name isn't what she thought it was? Will she let herself be happy and recognize she deserves to be treated like the queen she is?
Jordan doesn't have time for anything with women beyond one night stands. It's easy- no connections. No cilngers. His name means something in this town, but then he meets Maya. Maya who doesn't recognize him or know who he is. Maya who makes him WANT things he has never wanted- like a girlfriend and someone on his arm consistently. And how he convinced her to hook up after their run he will never know. He is addicted to her. He wants more. He wants her all the time and not just her body but her smiles and her hugs. He wants to cook for her and show her off, but he has to be careful because she doesn't like the rich. He is the uber rich. Well of course him not telling her comes to bite him in the butt. And now he is trying to prove to her that he isn't that. He is still the same person. He says he won't give up because now that he has had her, he doesn't want to let her go.
Like I said this one was a miss for me. I am glad to see though that other people are enjoying it. I am excited to see Gavin and Emily get together- we shall see if I decide to read that one.

5⭐️ 3.5🌶️ 🔥Billionaire 🔥Reformed Playboy 🔥Retired Hockey Player 🔥Secret Identity 🔥Boy Obsessed 🔥Guarded Hearts 🔥Opposites Attract 🔥Chance Encounter 🔥Dual First Person POV
I devoured this book and would have finished it in one sitting, if it wasn’t for my body needing sleep. Jordan is a retired NHL player, he doesn’t date and he never goes back for more. Jordan’s morning run recently improved when Maya started running along his route. They haven’t exchanged more than a good morning until he saves her from getting run over by a bicycle on the sidewalk. Maya is surprised by his forwaerdness and his dirty words. He doesn’t want to scare her off by revealing how wealthy he is, so they hook up on their run one morning under a bridge. The next time they exchange numbers and he makes up a story about having to stay in a hotel. What starts off as hooking up, turns to a passionate romance neither expected to find on their run. Maya is a hardworking dedicated nurse and has some strong opinions about wealthy people because of her past. Maya doesn’t recognize Jordan, so he hides who he is. Buth he waits too long and Maya unfortunately finds out on her own. Jordan goes crazy waiting for her to let him explain and talk to him.. They get some help from his grandmother, who just so happens to be Maya’s favorite patient at work. Jordan is something special from his dirty mouth to showing how much he cares. Maya is so real, her anxiety, stress of daily life, and how passionate she was about her work. The spice is something special because Jordan’s favorite thing is to eat her out. The man gets lock jaw! The side characters are just as amazing as Jordan and Maya. I especially love his grandmother, Bettie, and I hope we get even more from her in the next book.

A Few Favorite Quotes:
“I’m saying I want to spend hours with my face between your legs. Teasing you with my fingers and my tongue. Licking you. Swallowing you. Getting you off so many times, you can’t come anymore. That’s what I want. That’s what I’ve been thinking about.
“I’ll never stop, Maya. When I want something, I go after it—and I want you.”
“I want you milking the f*€king cüm out of me. That’s how hard I want you to come and how tight I want your c*nt to be.”
“Fine isn’t a word you ever want to hear come out of a woman’s mouth. Grandma taught me that. I never forgot it.”
“All you’ve ever wanted from me was us. And that’s what I want to give you. But I want to give you more.”
4.75⭐️ | 2.5🌶 Banger banger, one more time BANGER!!!! I'm so pleasantly surprised by this one, I devoured Maya and Jordan in less than 24 hours! I absolutely loved them and their people. Their meet cute, their connection. And Ben!!!! Yeah, I'm calling it, I'm gonna be OBSESSED with this series. I already am! Thank you to valentine pr for this arc.,
This romance had moments I really enjoyed and others that didn’t quite work for me. What I loved most was that Maya and Jordan’s relationship wasn’t only about chemistry—it was about support, trust, and learning to open up. Their journey felt like they were finally growing together, not just falling into passion but also facing fears and having the hard conversations. Maya came alive as a character: vulnerable yet strong-willed, while Jordan was steady, confident, and respectful—never pressuring her, but creating space for her to be herself. That dynamic really warmed my heart. ❤️🔥
That said, I did struggle with some clichés. Maya’s repeated self-doubt and “I’m not good enough for you” moments were frustrating, and certain dialogues felt unnecessarily drawn out and predictable. On top of that, the “billionaire alpha” setup leaned into tropes a little too heavily for me, and even the intimate scenes sometimes felt over the top rather than sensual.
Still, the book touches on meaningful themes—family history, class divides, self-worth, and how love can reshape not just a relationship but also your view of yourself. The storyline between Maya, her mother, and the Worthington family added depth, and I appreciated how the novel explored contrasts in background and privilege.
If you love alpha billionaire romance, opposites attract, secret identity, reformed playboy, and “man obsessed” energy, this book will likely hit the right notes for you. For me, it was a decent read but not a favorite.
✨ Huge thanks to Valentine PR and Marni Mann for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.
This was my first read by this author, and it really just mediocre for me 🤷.
The characters do the deed (dirty deed 😷) way too early in the book … as strangers which makes anything that comes after anticlimactic.
The big obstacle was overcome with little issue and everything that came after was boring, and seemed to focus way too much on the billionaire’s big bucks and lavish lifestyle 😑.
⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5 📚 Book 1 in the interconnected standalone series "The Billionaires of Boston" 🗣️ Dual POV 🖤 M/F 🏒 Sports Adjacent Romance [RN x Former NHL Star]
Not my typical Hockey romance, would consider this hockey adjacent cause he's a retired NHL player who is a billionaire and owns the Boston Bears [along with all the other professional sports leagues in Boston].
Jordan was an interesting MC, I didnt connect with him at the beginning of the book as he was super conceded imo, but honestly it never really got deeper than surface level on his part.
Maya was a great character, she was interesting, compassionate, and a hard worker who didnt take handouts. I liked her a lot and im not mad that she made Jordan grovel [would have expected even more honestly].
I liked the book enough, it was well written with little to no grammatical errors or issues with continuity. It was pretty solid, and I look forward to Gavin & Emily's story cause who didnt love the interactions with Emily & Ben in this book!
This high spice, fast burn romance is hot! The insta connection of Maya (a nurse) and Jordan (a secret billionaire/retired NHL player) is super cute as they meet while going on daily 5 mile runs. We know from the prologue that Maya grew up poor and had a hard time throughout her childhood. Will Jordan’s charms be enough to leave the past in the past and try to make a relationship work with a former playboy billionaire. We get to go on this journey with Maya while swooning over Jordan.
Sean Masters and Samantha Brentmoor’s performance really helped add to the enjoyment of the audiobook. At 277 pages/7h11min long makes for a quick, fun, and spicy read! Read if you like, hidden identity, Billionaire, fast burn, nurse FMC, fun spice and banter.
Thank you Marni Mann, Valentine PR, and Brillance Audio for an advanced listening copy of this book.
This is my first book by Marni and I am obsessed. Fast pace romance and spice. Reformed playboy? Give it to me.
Lets talk about this meet cute. Maya and Jordan go on daily runs. Jordan noticed her and upped his running regiment just to see her every morning. It wasn't until Jordan saved her from a biker not paying attention when he saved her from being hit. From then on, they met on the same corner to run together. They start to learn about each other through their daily runs. Jordan is smitten with Maya. he loves her sass. he learns Maya grew up poor with a single mom. Living the life she did, watching her mom fall for unavailable guys (she chooses not to date). She works as a nurse with her roommate and best friend. Once he learns his families company played a part in her losing her home when she was younger, he decides to hide information about himself knowing how she feels about people with money. The thing is Jordan is a retired NHL player who now works with his brother as a chief marketing officer at Worthington Enterprises. He loves his life and also loves woman. But once he Maya all those things went out the window.
Can Maya accept Jordan for who he is? Can she let go of the past and look forward?
I AM OBSSESSED WITH THEM. Maya is the perfect match for Jordan. She takes no shit and gives it back. Watching him try win her back, made me swoon. He did not let up. The spice was top tier.
There are a few things I will leave out for surprises but I cannot wait for book 2.
Thank you to Valentine PR and Marni Mann for an advanced listener's copy. The audiobook is narrated by Sean Masters and Samantha Brentmoor.
I really couldn't put this book down. Maya's lifestyle and family struggles felt so relatable and Jordan felt like that quintessential billionaire that doesn't even feel real to someone like me, because their lifestyle is so far out of my comprehension. I think that's one of the reasons I love reading billionaire romances. Marni Mann did an incredible job constructing a story with likeable characters and sneaky little connections I didn't guess ahead of time (which I usually do). Jordan was so attractive and one of my favorite parts about their relationship was how much he respected how hard she's worked to get where she is.
I would definitely recommend this for readers who love a spicy contemporary billionaire romance with a relatable and independent FMC.
Audio - Samantha Brentmoor is slowly becoming one of my favorite female narrators and Sean Masters always does an incredible job voice acting as well. I give their performance 5 stars collectively.
Billionaire romances are a hit or miss for me but I really enjoyed reading about Maya and Jordan. Not so much love at first sight but a case of lust on the morning run. I loved the spice level and the banter between the two main characters. There is a little drama when his secret comes to light but I liked that it wasn't too drawn out and that there was no OW drama. A really enjoyable easy read with plenty of spice.
Marni Mann never disappoints. I devoured this book in a couple hours! I am obsessed with Jordan and Maya and the instant chemistry and spice they had. The banter and tension was chef’s kiss!
Thank you Valentine PR and Marni Mann for this Arc!
I was enticed by the cover. Because I’m not silly, or blind.
But I was completely let down by the entire story.
I found this very disappointing!
**Spoilers**
I went into this with fairly low expectations, but still I found myself captured by the first chapter.
Unfortunately the history and storyline of her relationship with her mother, was hardly even explored.
The main thing we got was that the FMC, Maya, held a grudge bigger than the Statue of Liberty, purely because some developers had decided to develop the they were living in.
I thought, surely there is more to this. More substance to her determination to HATE on the rich.
But nope. There’s nothing.
She meets Jordan, who hides the fact that he’s richer than God and they have mind-blowing sex.
Despite the fact that he doesn’t “usually” commit to women, he falls in love with her in a millisecond. Which was frustrating and felt so wrong for his character—of this rich, NHL playboy.
I’m unsure what the overall message of this story was. That you shouldn’t hold grudges over developers???? That they’re humans too and they sometimes give to charity?
Look, it wasn’t all bad. I did continue to read it. But would I recommend? Absolutely not.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
There was a lot of spice in this! I suppose the cover should’ve given it away. I don’t mind some spice as long as there is still story behind it and for me this was immensely lacking in plot. I’ve said this about some of her other books and like those, this one was the same. Overall I was pretty bored. I listened to the audio which the narrators did a good job I just didn’t like the story.
The way it started I thought it was going to turn out differently. I mean obviously I knew they'd get a HEA, but to me it happened so quickly. Mr. Jordan became mush for Maya! I guess once you know, you know! I also wasn't a fan of how she got so upset over not knowing his history. They had no obligation to say anything really. With that said, I do love love! I am curious to see this secret Emily has..although I think I know....
The only way an alpha billionaire can hold on to the perfect woman is to keep his identity a secret.
Maya and Jordan can’t keep their eyes off one another. They see each other on their daily runs, exchanging heated glances and lingering smiles as part of their routine. What’s not to notice?
First comes the hello, then a kiss, followed by an uninhibited desire that sets their mornings on fire.
The only way for this grumpy alphahole to hold on to Maya is to keep his secret hidden. Because once the truth is out, everything about this addictive, sensuous, once-in-a-lifetime connection will come crashing down.
✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
A Million Times, Yes is the first book in the new series The Billionaires of Boston by Marni Mann. In true Marni Mann fashion, we encounter the captivating billionaire Jordan, known for his enticing and audacious charm. Alongside him is Maya, who certainly challenges Jordan, keeping him alert and on his toes. I found the chemistry between these Jordan and Maya delightful and enjoyed watching their narrative unfold. As always, I was captivated by how Marni portrays her MMCs and their deep devotion to their female counterparts, going to great lengths to win their hearts. I can never get enough of this!
If you’re in search of an engaging, spicy, and invigorating read, I highly recommend picking this one up, as it will surely lift you out of any reading slump. I’m eagerly anticipating what Marni has in store for Emily next.
What to Expect: - Billionaire MMC - Nurse FMC - Alpha Hero - Former NHL Player - Opposites Attract - Man Obsessed - Reformed Playboy - Secret Identity - Chance Encounter - Dual POV - Dual Narration
My Thoughts: A Million Times, Yes is an absolute banger! This is a steamy, emotional, and fun romance that was impossible to put down. It follows Jordan, a billionaire and retired hockey star, and Maya, a hardworking nurse who is caring for her mom. Jordan noticed Maya during a morning run and was instantly interested in her. Jordan fell hard for Maya. They had amazing chemistry and were so HOT together. Maya and Jordan had a great connection, and I couldn't help but root for them.
Marni writes some delicious men, and let me tell you, Jordan is the PERFECT book boyfriend. He did not hold back. He is so swoony and would do absolutely anything to keep Maya safe and happy. Maya and Jordan's journey was filled with flirty banter, passion, heartfelt moments, and a bit of suspense. The side characters added so much to the story. I loved the dynamic between Maya and her best friend Emily, and between Jordan and his brother Gavin. This book checked all the boxes for me, and I can't wait for more from the Billionaires of Boston.
Narration: Samantha Brentmoor and Sean Masters performed this audiobook in dual-style narration. They were phenomenal. No notes. No crumbs. Pure perfection. Samantha and Sean infused so much personality into these characters and had me completely invested in Maya and Jordan's journey. They delivered the heat, humor, and emotions. This story is addictive, but the narration made my experience with this story even better. I highly recommend making this an immersive reading experience by including the audio.
Thanks to Marni Mann, Montlake, Brilliance Audio, and Valentine PR for the early review opportunity. Opinions expressed are my own.
It should come to no surprise to anyone that I loved this book. If Marni writes it, I will read it without question. However this one may have taken over as my top book in the Marni Mann catalog. I could not put it down.
I loved the FMC, Maya with her family struggles and trying to work hard for her future. All while being the best version of herself.
Then Jordan, he’s my favorite type of MMC, the playboy that falls hard and falls first. He’s a billionaire and a retired NHL player. This man was enamored with Maya and in turn, I was enamored with him.
The way the couple met was cute and the way the started up together was explosive.
And the spice?? Refer to explosive! Holy hottness! 🔥 The spice was spicing in this book! Their chemistry was off the charts!
The supporting characters in the story were enjoyable and I can’t wait to read more in this series!
Should you read this one? The title answers that question! Yes. A Million Times, Yes.
✨Tropes✨ Billionaire Boy obsessed Opposites attract Retired hockey player
Thank you to Marni Mann, Amazon Publishing and Valentine PR for the arc to read and enjoy ❤️🔥
What I adore about Marni Mann’s books is her knack for creating couples with electric chemistry, a whole lot of spice, and a guy obsessed that’s determined to get his girl and worship her. And let me tell you, A Million Times, Yes is no exception!
Jordan, who never thought he’d want anything more than a casual fling, finds himself utterly captivated by the sassy Maya. Watching him fall head over heels for the right woman is like watching a masterclass in love. He’s determined, obsessed, and ready to put in the effort to win her heart.
And can we take a moment to appreciate Grandma Bettie and Maya’s best friend? It truly takes a village to get to happily ever after!
I can’t wait to see what’s next for Jordan’s brother!
To be totally honest, I was put off at first with the insta love and worried this book was going to lack in plot. I am happy to report, I was totally wrong. While yes, it was super insta love, it also did not lack in plot and everything worked seamlessly together. There was a perfect mix of conflict, depth & development in all the characters wrapped up in a perfect little bow
I realized that I have not read a lot of romances where the FMC is a nurse and I really loved getting that part of the story, we got a great mix of her every day life as an RN and it just added a little something for me that made me really love and appreciate Mayas character and made her so genuinely relatable.
It would be a crime to not include grandma Bettie in this review because she was the star of the show. I want a big warm hug from her immediately.
Thank you Valentine PR for this ARC in exchange for my honest review. 🫶🏼
4.5⭐️ I really loved this one! Jordan and Maya may have started with insta lust, but it quickly turned to insta love. This story was fast paced, spicy and so sweet! It was so well written and it was low angst/drama. The side characters were great and I can’t wait to see if Emily and the brother get together.
