What if you fall for someone, but you’re already in a wonderful relationship with someone else?
Emma has been dating John casually for the past six months. But when she meets Carlos, there’s instant attraction… and since she and John haven’t had the exclusivity conversation yet, then why not date both men simultaneously?
Emma didn’t anticipate that both men would want to take their relationship with her to the next level, and now she has to choose between the two men in her life… or does she?

Once I started A Choice Between Two I quickly enjoyed Emma's character. She was a bright spot in the day and wanted nothing more than to feel fulfilled in her job and love life. When friends become involved in something that isn't the norm, they always have their opinions instead of being open minded. It's inevitable.
Choosing between two can be a hard decision to make, and for some it's an indecision.
I enjoyed Sagans writing like her previous book I read. But.... I am in a funk. It doesn't matter what I've tried it comes creeping back in.
But funk aside, this was a great book. I hope more people will have an open mind when it comes to being different much less having a poly relationship.
I received a complimentary copy via the author and Booksprout. All opinions are my own, honest and voluntary.
Emma has been dating John for 6 months, and while the time they spend together is great, because of their demanding careers, their time together isn't much. So when Emma meets Carlos, she's drawn into him, he is the complete opposite of John in every way, and it's a good thing, for both of them. But how does a girl choose between two really amazing men? Thankfully she has two amazing best friends, Scarlett and Helen, to help her choose.
This was such a fun novella to read and I really enjoyed it. Morrow writes and edits extremely well, she has given us such fun characters in not just the men, but Emma's best friends. Each of them with unique personalities and differing opinions. I'm always a little sad when a book just ends and you need book 2 to continue the story, but I am excited to see what happens next for Emma. It would even be nice if Morrow told Scarlet's story in another book.
I don’t typically read romance novels but I’ve challenged myself to read new genres of books this year. This was a fun book to read and I enjoyed learning more about polyamory.
Emma has been dating Josh for the past six months. While she likes him a lot, they don't spend a lot of time together- they both have very demanding careers. When she meets Carlos, the sparks fly. Because John and she haven't talked about being exclusive, she decides to date both (without telling them at first) and the impossible happens, she falls in love with both. Then the time comes, to tell the truth, but they might not like it so much.
I liked reading the story very much, it's a very different way to solve a love triangle (what if few other love triangles from popular books would have been solved that way? :) ). I liked Emma and her group of friends. She is a very interesting character. The writing is good, and the book is on the shorter side, but very addicting and can't wait to read the next one. :) My only complaint is the dialog, it could use some polishing. :)
Emma is in a relationship with John. But when she meets Carlos, things change. She starts dating both men.
Will she choose between open, transparent Carlos or quieter, mysterious John? John likes his independence and Carlos is rugged.
The romance is clean and any sex is hinted at.
She sees her life affected in ways she never imagined, in love and also with her friend Helen. I liked Helen, and how honest she was. I also liked Scarlett.
There’s quite a lot of back and forth in Emma’s mind about who to be with, and this got tired after awhile and it was a constant through the book.
I found there wasn’t much of a plot and it was simplistic and very tell-y and there was not enough showing in the book. I never really got into the story. The characters were too underdeveloped for my taste and there wasn’t enough substance to the book. The pacing felt rushed to me. I was hoping for slow burn then steamy, but it never got to that point for anyone.
I did like the playlist for the books because of the song choices that are some of my favourites and am kind of curious as to what will happen in book 2.

Emma loves Carlos, but she also loves John. What’s a girl to do when she doesn’t feel the need to choose? Can she get her guys on board? This book delves deep into polyamory and it’s implications for those involved. It’s also the start of a series following Emma and her relationship so don’t expect a traditional HEA at the end of book one.
Felt this one was a little too serious at times for me. Interesting but not enough fluff, I like to lose myself in my characters and love suspense and drama with an eventual HEA. This one was just a little too deep for my liking.

Emma is in a fix. She has ben happily dating John, a lawyer, for the last six months but due to his work schedule they only really have a couple of dates a month and they have never had a talk about being exclusive.
At a work function she meets Carlos who is as interested in her as she is in him. She chats, flirts and genuinely forgets all about John, they swap numbers, text over the course of a few days and then have their first date. Things move quite quickly after that and Emma finds herself wanting to confide in one of her best friends about the two men.
If you can have more than one best friend why not more than one boyfriend? This is not quite how Helen, the best friend in question sees it, nor does John. How can she see them there is no problem in what she is doing? She is not cheating, she is open and honest. She Google's it, finds her arguments and presents them. Her other best friend understands but can she bring everyone else round to her logic?
This is the first of the 'Polyamorous Passions' books, introducing Emma and her men. I found it funny, passionate, an easy read and also one that confidently and genuinely addresses the question of polygamy. It's a great read and I can't wait to follow the series to find out how these relationships continue.
