Spring has arrived at the beach, and nothing pairs better with warm breezes and sunshine than a scoop of freshly made ice cream. At Cookie’s Creamery, Maddie and the team are busy churning out new flavors to celebrate the season. But when a delivery driver is found dead, the sweet shop’s sunny vibes take a dark turn.
Detective Noah Grayson is officially on the case, but that won’t stop Maddie and her best friend Chloe from doing a little investigating of their own. With her wedding to Noah fast approaching, Maddie would rather be sampling cake than chasing down a killer—but if they don’t crack the case soon, the culprit may strike again.
Don’t miss this twisty, sun-kissed installment of A Cookie’s Creamery Mystery!
I loved the sweet dachshund that Estelle, Maddie’s favorite customer adopted. The little pup sounded so adorable but I’m a sucker for a cute dachshund anyway and love it when they’re mentioned in a story. Poor Noah sure had a rough case on his hands that just wasn’t coming together like usual. It was sure a mixed bag but it had a quick, effective showdown and explanation that followed. I bet Maddie and Noah were happy just to get some time to spend together after that case!
