With three possible culprits—a brooding son in dire need of an inheritance, a much-gossiped-about wife, and an old Oxford rival with an axe to grind—there are plenty of mysteries to unravel.
But the real question can Robert assist Eudora in solving a murder and convince her to become his bride? Or will she remain far too distracted by crime to notice the most important clue of all—that he’s hopelessly in love with her?

About the author

Claudia Stone was born in South Africa but moved to Plymouth as a young girl. Having trained as an actress at RADA, she moved to New York to pursue her dream of acting on Broadway in 1988. She never did see her name in lights, but she did meet a wonderful Irishman called Conal who whisked her away to the wilds of Kerry, where she has lived ever since.
Claudia and Conal have three children, a dairy farm and a boisterous, black lab called Buddy. When she has any time left over, Claudia enjoys reading Regency as well as writing it.

And I completed the series at last. I enjoyed both the investigation and the romance. Eudora is my favorite sister. I wish there was an epilogue.

A good finish to this series, which I very much enjoyed. I only gave 3 stars for this because I figured out most of the story early on. Having said that, I still read the whole story and did enjoy it. I love Claudia Stone’s books!

Great read

Fun characters, great plot, beautiful love stor and easy to relate to. I really, really enjoy this book. On to read book 1.

As a stand alone, maybe closer to 3 stars. However, I've read 3 other books in this series and had higher hopes. It is Eudora's story. She has spent the last few books wearing a turban and using a cane to look older. I had high hopes for her hijinks. But this book kicks off with a new, reformed Miss Mifford who gives barely a passing thought to her old lady persona. She is squarely in the 'heroine' status and as such, interchangeable with the other three Mifford sisters.
I think I'm going to gracefully retire from reading any more of this series.

This story follows the usual pattern for this series, but the ending has a slight twist that makes it very sad. Eudora has met Robert a few times since he is a good friend to Emily’s husband. He is attracted to her but is not sure of her response to him. They join forces to solve a mysterious death and a murder of one of Jane’s guests. They get to know one another and Eudora sees that she would quite like to be married to Robert after all! There is an extra layer of mystery in this story due to Eudora finding a dead man at the beginning and who Dr Bates says, died of natural causes. It takes a while to piece the two deaths together. An interesting plot.

A fun comedy of manners and murder. A snowed in country house mystery set in Regency times where a murder has taken place and a number of guests are suspects. There are plenty of red herrings thrown in, but you are given the answer as to the culprit about halfway through if you are paying attention.

Sadly this book was let down by bad editing. When there are so many characters to keep track of, it is intolerable that the author should misname and mix them up. It can't be that difficult to get someone to proofread before publishing.

The final book in my Regency Murder and Marriage series is (finally!!) available! It tells the story of the youngest Mifford sister, Eudora, who finds herself snowed-in at a house party with a murder to solve. Luckily, she has help with her investigation in the form of the dashing Lord Robert Delaney - who is intent on making the last single Mifford sister his wife.

I do hope you enjoy the final tale in the series, it has been a joy to revisit some of my favourite characters!

Last Sister gets a murder

Youngest Sister is originally happy her 3 Older Sisters are out of the house but soon realizes that her Mother is now focusing exclusively on her. Fortunately there's a House Party at Sister Jane's, a handsome Baron and another body to occupy her.
Also fortunately for the series future, another Female Cousin has appeared along with new Sisters provided by the Handsome Baron.

a Good Series

Eudora is not my favorite of the sisters. I am a youngest daughter with four older sisters and an equal complement of older brothers. My inclination was to stand out and not to blend in. Eudora seems a little whiny and lacking in gumption. I still hope she and her sisters retain a happily ever after.

Great mystery
Miss Eudora Mifford is the last of the daughters at home. Eudora is feeling down. When she stumbles over a body. Perhaps she can solve a murder just like her sisters and Robert Delaney, Baron Bloomsbury, is being awfully helpful. I wonder why? This is an excellent mystery all the characters from the pervious books put in an appearance.

SPOILER ALERT: This book is missing at least one last chapter. The reader will not find out the name of the culprit. I contacted Amazon, and they blamed the publisher. However, they are the publishers.

Otherwise, this is well-written and engaging. I like the characters and the plot. However, there are some errors in the book, and hopefully, a copywriter will make corrections before this is printed. Currently, it is only available via Amazon Kindle. Other reviewer(s) have mentioned some errors, and I don't need to beat a dying horse.

I hope to be notified when the final chapter is added (for closure).

Glad Eudora Got Her story

Enjoyable read, though culprit was obvious early on. Need a more observant proofreader. Lord Crabb’s name was used in place of Lord Albermay on page 92 and Emily was referred to as a viscountess on page 166.

Nice storytelling, weak editing

I love the entertaining Mr. Mifford and how he handles his silly wife. I did guess the murderer and liked the ending. But this author needs a better editor.
Overall I enjoyed the series and the Mifford family..

really it's a 3.5*. better than the previous one, not as good as the first and yes I skimmed entire chapters and was still able to deduce the mystery correctly... so..
