When one of the ice cream competitors was killed at the very first ice cream festival in town, Maddie and Chloe went into sleuth mode and started doing their sleuthing. I just love it when Estelle comes in the shop with her little dachshund, Dottie! The descriptions of that pup are so spot-on for dachsies, I’m wondering if the author has one or knows a dachshund.

The case was getting trickier as Maddie and Chloe eventually faced off with the perp. The showdown wasn’t dangerous at all since the killer turned tail but Noah’s team was on the job and another killer was put away. Now on to the wedding in the next book, can’t wait!

Pistachio Peril

Great story. No one should be murdered but it would have been nice if he knew he was caught. Yes
