Lucifer's Hounds

Rate this book
After a spontaneous three day get away to Texas and a wild night in the arms of the president of Lucifer’s Hounds Motorcycle Club, I thought that life would go back to normal when I return home, but that’s the last thing that happens. I find that the bar I work at has been bought, my rental has been sold, and my life is in absolute shambles after being ghosted by a man I cannot stop obsessing over.

***A note from the author***
This book was previously published as Lucifer's Hounds by Erika Blount. It has been rewritten to reflect the style of writing that is used under the pen name Nicole Sulli as I am retiring that pen name for MC Romance and will only be publishing MC Romance under the pen name Nicole Sulli moving forward. This story has not changed any aside from the point of view that it is written.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book and I just want to thank Nicole for allowing me to read her amazing work! I had the opportunity to read Lucifer’s Hounds in its original format. The change in the POV really opened the story up for me and immersed me into Cass and Lilly’s world. As much as I want more Cass, I love that Nicole wrote LH in only Lilly’s perspective. This leaves Cass as more of a mystery to us just as he is still a mystery to Lilly. I love the layers of Lilly. She’s so carefree and lives life on a whim while also trying to balance her gypsy soul with real life. I am wondering if Cass is worth settling down for? Will Lilly find his lifestyle too dangerous? A war has to brewing because THAT ENDING!!! I think Lilly is all in no matter what and I don’t blame her! I cannot wait for book two. Fingers crossed we get some chapters in Cass’s POV. I MUST know his thoughts on Lilly and I’m sure I’ll fall even harder for this mystery MC president. Outstanding job Nicole!!!!!!

ARC READ! Thank you Nicole for the privilege!

As far as MC novels go, this was a pretty tame version of them, which was slightly disappointing, however the characters were all likable, and the ending was great!

I enjoyed how it started. The free, drifter girl meets the hot biker and spend the night together. He disappears, she returns to real life only for him to appear again as her boss. I really liked this idea for a story line!
I like how Cass was a mystery, and that his activities with the MC keep us (and Lilly) guessing, however I felt like his personality was a bit of a mystery too. Felt like a lack of character depth with that one, but I have hopes for book two!

Full honesty, I was not a fan of the spicy scenes!! I absolutely could not get into their dirty talk. Way too much use of the word ‘baby’ for me, and it felt like the scenes ended before they began. On this topic, the cover picture absolutely does not do it for me. The description of Cass was hot, the cover model… not my vibe. At all. Couldn’t stop picturing Cass as a hairy, old, overweight man (sorry!!).

For a novel about a MC, there was VERY little information about it. We hear about the bikes, the cuts, we meet some members, but it probably isn’t until the last 50 or so pages that it actually starts feeling like a MC novel. And I REALLY enjoyed the last 50 pages! I’m looking forward to reading more about Lucifer’s Hounds MC and hopefully delving more into the club life.

I love love love a good MC plot! Overall, Lucifer’s Hounds was a cute story, but it was lacking on the MC front. The MC aspect did start to build up at the end, which tells me that the books after this one might have more of that aspect to it. I’m a huge fan of the connection between Cass and Lilly, and their personalities on their own, though I did find a couple of their character traits a little contradictory. It wasn’t enough to take me out of the story, though. The side characters were cute and fun, and I loved the array there. The only other thing that threw me for a loop was the cover-- Cass is described as a muscled, ripped MC dude but the man on the cover is a teddy bear (which I have zero complaints against). It just made me tilt my head a little bit.

Short but sweet. Lilly takes a few days off to get away and meets Cass (Pres of an MC)at a pool hall. They are pleasantly surprised to find they are both staying at the same hotel. After a couple of nights together Cass disappears. When they meet up again they pick back up where they left off. MC rivals cause trouble but right when the action starts the book ends. This story has a great beginning and I am anxiously awaiting the next piece of the puzzle. There are a couple of instances where the story appears to duplicate portions of a previous chapter, but that is easy enough to overlook when the story is good.

I received an advance review copy and I am leaving this review voluntarily. This is my own opinion and was not influenced by anyone.

Nicole Sulli is a new author to me. Lucifer's Hounds did hold my attention with the action and steam. I am an avid reader of MC romances and felt this story was a little mild. While I did enjoy the book, I didn't remember it was a cliffhanger. I think I should have realized it because you feel the build up. The insta love was a bit quick for me but over all I enjoyed the story and the way their relationship grew. I am interested to read the next book to see what happens.

Have a read an MC Romance before this? No. Didn't I think it was my *thing*? Also, nope. Did I LOVE this book, YES. This book (and series) is one of the BEST combinations of spiciness, romance, and intense stories I've read in a long time. This was an eventful read and I never found myself bored with filler.

I am currently reading the prequel Adelaide Black (after, yes 🤦🏽‍♀️) and when I'm done I'll update my review to discuss what my preferred reading order would have been.

Spice Level: 4/5 Straight 🔥 No complaints. My favorite thing about the relationships in this story is that they feel so raw, and real and not ⭐️ it was as big as my forearm and rivaled an elephant dong ⭐️

This is a new to me author, and I was very pleasantly surprised. Insta attraction, hot, ripped MC prez hero, strong, sassy, smart heroine. What's not to love? I really enjoyed how the attraction was instant, but also that they are building a relationship. Cass is so sweet with Lilly, and she really tries to understand this his position as Prez means he will not always be available, and there are some things he cannot share with her. A run in with a rival club leads to them both declaring their love. But, the war is just beginning and I am eagerly anticipating the next book.

loved it!!! Cass & Lilly oh my can you read their chemistry! i am so excited to see what happens between these two! i couldn’t put the book down. I do wish though that there was a Cass POV. I think that would have completed the book 100% on how much he was falling for her. She’s got sass, grit and lots of love to share i love Lilly! She’s someone who u wish u could be, doesn’t back down, strong, fierce, beautiful i love her. Cass being the normal protective handsome love sick brute lol. i really hope there’s more of these two! Their chemistry is on fire!!!!

Up until 50% of the book its just another boss/employee romance book. After that then you start seeing a little more of the MC aspect of it. More details were needed about the MC and members. After the first 50% of the book is where it gets good and juicy. If the beginning would have been more like the ending, then this would have been a five star but since it’s not it’s a 3.5 star for me. I will read the next installment to see what comes next.

This book was a fun ride (pun intended!) as we follow Lily and Cass’ new relationship together grow. At first she thought it was just an amazing weekend hookup on a spontaneous trip, but no one knew they were actually from the same town, and surprise surprise Cass is the man who just bought her bosses failing bar.

Spice: 3/5
Plot: 4/5
Twists that kept me flipping the pages fast? Tons!

Dove right into the second book after I finished this!

Cass and Lilly❤️ it start strong and is an easy read.
Lilly is a strong straight forward character, and won’t stop for anything.
Cass is different, I really can’t put him in any category. But I hope I will see more of him in the next book, because I need to know more what’s in his head. I suspect the next book will be head on with him and his «work»

This is my first book by Nicole Sulli and I am so grateful that I was able to read it. Boy she certainly did not disappoint. I love the characters especially Cass and Lilly. Lilly is spunky, spontaneous, spicy with a touch of jealousy. Cass is a handsome manly man with a very nice soft side when he wants. I cannot wait to read the next book.

Lucifer's Hounds MC book 1 is Lilly and
Cass's story and my first read by this author. It's an insta love/lust story with great characters and an interesting storyline. I love Lilly's free spirit, Gypsy vibe and that Cass doesn't try to suffocate her spirit. There's plenty of surprises, twists, turns and drama to keep readers attention. I'm excited to see what's next for this series.

LOVE the re-writing for this book. Who doesn’t love a good 1st person POV?

Cass and Lilly are two of my favorite characters 🖤 Lilly really is a strong FMC. And I love that when reading- especially 1st POV.
We didn’t get much of Cass’ POV this time book book but I have a feeling that will change in the next book 👀
Perfect mix of 🌶️ and plot!

Loved Cass and Lillys story a short one night stand and a reconnection. Starts out fast paced but slows down for a bit and picks back up. They are getting to know each other and get a HEA for now... war is coming I feel it. Looking forward to the next one.

This one just didn't do it for me entirely.
Lilly is sweet and was going through some things, Cass just has a bunch of secrets. For this being instant attraction/love, you'd think he'd be more open to her and telling her things.

*ARC review-it did have some repeated chapters
