The Wrong Man

Rate this book
Perfect for readers looking for a fast paced, gritty British gangland thriller. Edge of the seat and action packed with real twists, leaving you with a real affinity for Frank and his firm.

Every action has consequences … even when it’s family.

Frank Pearson rules the criminal underworld of the East Midlands. He’s the man with a seat at the top table. A man of honour, who believes a man’s word is his bond.

Unable to accept anyone other than his twin son was to blame for the death of his one true love –their mother – Frank drives a wedge between the family. Bitterness and resentment will never go away. The consequences are unthinkable. The Pearsons will pay, and the family will never be the same again.

In a world of violence, those at the heart of it react in the only way they know.

When people play the game, they play it best when no one else knows there’s a game going on.

The first book in a gripping, raw and energy filled series.

This book is amazing .The characters are very believable and it’s such a page turner.
The way they deal with other gangs is fantastic and you feel the terror of the victims as they are tortured and killed .
This is the first book by MJ Elliott and I can’t wait for more .

An action packed crime story about a mob of territorial hoodlums based in Mansfield, and district. And in Leeds, Derby, Nottingham, Leicester etc...

Fast paced and very direct, brutally violent and uncompromising.

I enjoyed it and finished it pretty promptly. It's a first class page-turner once fully into it.

There are lulls in the action here and there, this tends to be at the start of each act, and where the attention moves to new characters or the mob wives or families, that's where I realise I'm really interested in the nitty-gritty of the dirty business of crime and criminals ... LOL!
