I really enjoyed the practical advice offered in this book. I listened to the audio version of this book during my commutes, which was great because it would give me time in between commutes to check my own money attitudes and situation and ponder some of the advice.
This is a great starting point for people who want to begin taking ownership of their financial journey, regardless of their age or circumstances.
The author authentically outlines that even with a financial background, there are times in our own lives when it can seem hard and daunting but you only need to begin with one or a few small steps to begin your journey.
Gemma Mitchell is great at taking the reader on a gentle journey, explaining the current Australian financial landscape and how best to make the most of any situation, reminding us all that even setting aside a small amount each week for an emergency fund can become a reason to celebrate the little wins.
