The Pearson series, Book 3

Perfect for readers who love a female lead within the criminal underworld. If you think Frank was tough, you'll love reading how Phoebe takes over the reins of the family business. Raw, gritty and fast paced. Buckle up, it's a ride and a half!
If you thought violence was a man’s world, long live the Queen.

Forever being told she would always be in the shadow of men, Phoebe must do all she can to hold on to everything she holds dear. The Pearson family name rests in her hands.

Someone who has held a grudge for over twenty years sees her as vulnerable – a woman doing a man’s job. He wants revenge and will target those closest to her to get what he wants.

Blood will be shed, but the order of things must remain intact. Phoebe must show the world of criminality that she is in the shadow of no man, and she is prepared to do anything to protect everything she has.

In this world, someone’s always trying to take what you’ve got.

WOW, where to start. If you haven’t already, to get the best from this gripping gangster novel you should read the authors 2 previous novels in the trilogy ‘The Wrong Man’ and ‘New Blood’ only then will you truly understand the ‘Pearson’s’.
Started Killing shadows was just like starting a new chapter of ‘New Blood’ as it flows effortlessly into the family of crime and the empire that Frank has created. The whole family are up for keeping what is theirs under any circumstances. Is Phoebe up to the top job, is Alice really cut out for this and what’s happened to Archie since he went running into the sunset? Struck by tragedy with the loss of her number two Alice needs a reshuffle, where should she look as its unanimous what the top table feel about Archie. Alice is a live wire but she might have saved the day with a lucky chance sighting at a London club. Archie is hired muscle in the Costas and has no desire to return home until he’s forced. Tariq feels this isn’t a place for the ladies, it a mans world and he doesn’t like people bucking the trend, he wants what the others have, but can he get it? A well executed hi-jack and things seem to be turning his way but that would be too simple for the author. A cleaver plan from Phoebe and sheer determination when Tariq takes something from her he has no right to have make everyone show their cards. There can only be one winner and they will emerge from the Killing Shadows. 5 Star review and I look forward to more. M J Elliott has set the bar high and left this wide open for more.

This third book will not disappoint. The Pearson Family continue to rule the criminal world . M J Elliot as an author has the ability to keep you gripped throughout the book .It’s full of twist ,turns and suspense . It follows the family in Spain and again in Nottinghamshire .
Having read the other two books The Wrong Man and New Blood ,it was like catching up on your favourite family of Gangsters ,who are so believable as people .Highly recommended but read the first two first .I can’t wait for another instalment of the Pearson Family .

Tremendous third in the series. I was expecting no-nonsense, fast pace, lashings of violence and gangland drama...and that was all delivered aplenty. Keep 'em coming MJ!
It's a page turner and I finished this very quickly on Kindle, I've been waiting for the book to appear on Goodreads to leave a review.

Brilliant follow up to the previous 2 books. The storyline had me hooked from the minute I started reading. The Pearsons are certainly not people you’d want as an enemy. Look forward to seeing another book in the series.
