I have never felt this happy to see a character finally happy. They both didn’t deserve any of what happened to them, and it breaks my heart thinking of actual people going through what these characters went through—because I know it happens, but no one talks about it. Overall, it’s a good read.

All little Cirrus wanted was someone to love him and remain a steady rock in his life :(
After reading Cirrus’ backstory I’m not at all surprised why he acts the way he acts. He deserved better from every adult figure in his life. He was a little kid suddenly dealing with the loss of his mother; not understanding why he couldn’t see her anymore. His dad hates him and wishes it were him who died instead of his mom. Seriously imagine overhearing that as a young child. Then his dad decides this is the perfect time to bring home new women without even considering how his child is feeling. But oh no, even though Cirrus doesn’t feel thrilled to have some new woman in the house he is so desperate for parental love that he tries to call this woman mom only to be rejected. His desperate attempts to be loved, which a child shouldn’t ever have to be desperate for, are always squashed out. Finally he thinks he had found safety in viewing his teacher as a father, but this man isn’t safe at all. He’s a bloody child molester.
No wonder this guy wears a fake persona at school. No wonder he acts out. He wants to be the one doing the abandoning instead of being the abandoned.

bueno, un resumen general de la novela son 3.5 ⭐️
la vdd es que senti que fue todo muy rapido, me falto mas desarrollo de cirrus, queria que creciera mas como personaje.
me hubiera gustado mas momentos de skylar y cirrus donde se viera un desarrollo mas profundo y serio de su relación, mas maduro, mas momentos intimos donde pudieran hablar, me falto mas profundidad.
en fin, falto terapearlos a ambos

OPINION PERSONAL - caps: 105-130
Ay, no sé. Aunque todos los personajes reconocieron sus errores, se disculparon por sus actos y aceptaron su responsabilidad, siento que todo sucedió demasiado rápido. La solución, el arrepentimiento y el reconocimiento de sus fallos se desarrollaron de manera tan apresurada que ni siquiera te daba tiempo para procesarlo. Es como si, de la nada y de repente, los personajes se dieran cuenta de que eran inestables, de que ignoraban sus emociones, de que eran violentos, tóxicos, pésimos para comunicarse, reprimían sus sentimientos y, en general, estaban mal mentalmente.
No pues qué bueno que reconocieron sus problemas y qué bueno que se dieron cuenta de que estaban equivocados, pero esperaba al menos un poco más de desarrollo. Sin embargo, todos terminaron reconciliándose y lograron su cliché de found family. No pues, que bien por ellos, que viva el amor y todo eso, supongo.
No sé, pero mi final feliz habría sido, no sé… que fueran a un psicólogo o un psiquiatra yo que sé.
Y la verdad me falto más desarrollo específicamente en el personaje de Cirrus.

Me hubiera gustado que el ex mejor amigo de Skylar haya pagado por el mal q le hizo, me pareció re injusto que él simplemente vaya huido, siento tb que a Sky y a Cirrus les faltó comunicación, Skylar diciéndole que seguía queriendo a Chal In, y Cirrus diciendo cosas como: esperaré a gustarte y dps sin hablarlo se "reconciliaban" no me gustó.
Sin embargo, por fin pude ver una sonrisa genuina en Cirrus, y amé eso.

overall review for all five volumes <33
i wanted to drop this at one point but something about these fucked up characters always intrigues me and that's what made me wanna finish this book. honestly, the character here are everything. i love everything about them and i think i might have just found my new fav haha. cirrusskylar are the best after everything they've been through.
