This is an amazing little book about a man and his wife and their SIDS baby. It's written in a simple, straightforward style that draws you into this family's medical crisis, their struggle to keep their baby alive, all their highs and lows- all the fears, tears, and amid all this, the laughs and ultimately the triumphs they experienced. I cried, I laughed, and I cheered Debra who never backed down and would not accept anything less than the survival of her baby boy. This story is told from the baby's Dad's point of view. Being a woman I appreciate a man who is not afraid to reveal his emotions or can express his thoughts in writing. His insights are a refreshing change from what one would expect when reading a story like this. I'm glad he wrote the book because it made it all that much better from the Dad's point of view.
