This book was so incredibly good—I enjoyed every second of it. The fun characters, the amazing family banter, and the heartwarming relationships made it such a joy to read. The workplace romance and the age gap dynamic were really well done, even though I don’t usually like age gaps!
I also found myself relating to Maeve in some moments, which made the story feel even more special. It’s always great when characters feel so real and relatable!

This book was soo good! If you’re a fan of the grumpy/sunshine trope or even grumpy to golden retriever then this is for you. I loved the story. I’m still not feeling some of the antagonist even after finishing the story so you know it’s well written :). As a certified lover girl I totally recommend giving this a read! I wish I could read the next book in the series now!!!!

💭: Kathryn Coin… you’ve officially made me a fan for life! Initially, I was getting 𝘓𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘉𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘦 vibes (giving alllll of the pink), but after meeting The Kelly Family in book 1, I knew this was going to hit so much deeper.
Maeve—the stunner in pink, natural beauty, baby of the family, and utterly impossible not to love—was carrying so much more than she let on. Her determination to succeed? At first, it was for everyone else… but the magic happened when she started doing it for herself.
And Colin… you grumpy, grumpy, 𝘨𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘰𝘶𝘴 man. 🫠 Who knew you had so many layers? The more Maeve peeled them back, the better it got. He may have had a rough upbringing, but watching him grow into the most tender, protective partner melted me completely.
The Kellys remind me so much of my own family (minus the filthy rich part 😅). Loud, overbearing, zero boundaries… but fiercely loyal and always ready to rally. Their bond is as beautiful as the romances blooming in this series. 🥹

Let me start off by saying that this book has saved me from a reading slump and so far is a fav of mine! Like omgg this book brought the summer vibes, the love and fun! Heck yeah!
Okay, so our FMC Maeve Kelly is a spunky, fun - live in the color pink - and is a college student. She's our sunshine and hopefully she agrees to be friends with me. Our MMC Colin Monroe is a grumpy, all about work, doesn't have a hint of olor kind of guy. When both of them meet at a bar and then at the office... let's say things get heated up in the most fun, spicy way!!🔥
Also the Kelly siblings are a handful but they're fun and amazing! Also, the age gap isn't a big one so don't worry y'all! Also, the way Colin is with Maeve like dude - what the heck man!🥹
Y'all are going to want to read this book!! It's the second book in an interconnected standalone series called Coast to Coast!

This book! I’ve always loved a workplace, age- gap romance that shows a strong headed FMC and MMC while still being completely mushy with each other. I love how, yes, they were headstrong, but also the depth and importance of their own personam struggles were shown. Cannot wait for everybody esle to read this!
Somehow, reading these characters gives us this fantasy, but it also somehow touched on reality, and it has somehow made the characters like something you imagine but relatable. Not many authors are able to bring such writing like this book.

Maeve meets a handsome stranger at a bar. Months later, he turns out to be a new grumpy coworker at her internship. Can her light open his heart or will he lose his shot?
So, first of all the chemistry between Maeve and Colin is so HOT. If this had been a paperback book, then my fingers would be singed. The banter and the swoony moments were perfect. The spice was very nice. I loved seeing the different aspects of Maeve come to light as we learned more about her. The side characters/family members added to the fun of the story. It’s part of a series and would have probably been best to read in order but not necessary. Five stars!

Meeting a handsome stranger one night and after a kiss he walks away. Maeve got an internship at KavTech industries and Colin’s boss ask him to mentor the new internship. On the first day they come face to face with each other. Highly recommend this stupendous opposite attraction, secrets, heartwarming, and wonderful sibling dynamic!

I enjoyed this book from the author. It definitely held my interest as the reader. I enjoyed reading about Maeve and Colin. The storyline definitely kept this reader, engaged and invested from the beginning to the end. Looking forward to what she writes next.

Another book in the coast to coast series that I devoured so fast.
Colin is just so swoon worthy from the very first mystery meeting. I loved the way he immediately came up to protect a random girl in the bar, getting harassed by a creep & I love how they so easily fell into a simple role play as strangers. He’s so protective yet, lets her be independent at the same time and it’s very refreshing to see a guy let his girl do both!
I feel as if the Kelly family is really shown how humble they are in how they are so accepting to all different backgrounds. Mr. Kelly is fiercely loyal to his family and, he will stop at no extent to make sure his family is seen/taken care of. Maeve has such an intense personality but, feels everything so intensely as well- it allows for others to try and walk over her when she is trying to shine and trying to work for where she is instead of letting her dad hand it too her.
I loved the progression of their relationship. I think I would have loved to see him propose but I’m hoping later in the series we get to see that happen!

From a sparkly awakening, to serious and cold; Maeve and Colin hit the marks!
Maeve is from a completely different world than Colin, but somehow they mesh so well. Maeve's headstrong "I can do it myself" attitude doesn't bare well with Colin's "I only care about her" feelings. From the bar to the office I couldn't get enough of how Colin cares for Maeve! They both find a part of themselves that needed to be healed and leaned on each other to find that. I laughed, I cried, but most importantly I truly enjoyed the read.

This was a great book to follow up the first one! Who doesn’t love a forbidden age gap romance!? I loved getting to see more of Maeve on her own without her siblings influencing her, but I did miss seeing the whole group living together in the Malibu house. Looking forward to book three and seeing what’s in store for Nolan and Maggie!! So excited for that one!!! And to hopefully see more of the siblings interactions in book 3! I loved Colin and everything related to him and Maeve. Can’t wait to see them again down the road!
