Let me do the honors of being the first one to review my own book 🖤 I know some find it cringe but I don’t care. I’m so proud of this book and this story.

It has taken me almost nine months to release it to the world and a lot of tears and sweat and meltdowns. Marie has taught me a lot about my own struggle with alcohol and writing her was confronting in the worst way, but I came out of it more mature I think and more gracious to the girl I used to be. And isn’t that such a gift?

Nico, my unaliver pathetic little sub who teaches those around him how to be more themselves. I’m so happy I got to write someone so steady in his love, so sure in his feelings even when he doesn’t understand them. I hope you won’t miss the fact that Nico is on the autism spectrum. That representation is lived, to a degree, and I had the help of a wonderful sensitivity reader called Moss to help me give him the most authentic experience. I hope you love him as much as I do.

TW for alcohol abuse and death of a character through cancer (on page, vivid descriptions). Proceed with caution and prioritize your mental health 🖤

Femdom, I love reading about it. This book has plenty of that, but also comes with a storyline I enjoyed. The darker themes are my jam. I also enjoyed the D/s dynamic in this book. Especially because of the clear boundaries, safe word and consent throughout the book. They were 🔥 together and underneath it all was their love for each other. All in all, I gobbled up this book. It was my first read by C.J. Lucci and I will have to catch up with her other works. 🖤

Isle of Pain was something totally new for me and I was hooked. We’ve got a femdom who’s a virgin and just stepping into this dynamic, and somehow C.J. made it feel so natural, so powerful, and so tender all at once. And Nico?? The way he crawled for her?? My jaw dropped he was so pretty about it too, like yes sir, go off.

I’ve loved these two from the start and waited a whole year for their book... and wow, it was so worth it. Marie felt so real, so relatable just this woman who’s constantly overlooked, and it hurt to see that. But then there’s Nico, who saw all of her. The way they healed each other and grew together? Emotional damage. I was in my feels.

Also, the spice? With emotion behind it?? C.J. didn’t come to play. It hit every note.

And shhh... don’t tell C.J., but I honestly don’t even know who my favorite couple is in this series anymore. These two are definitely up there though and they’ve carved out a special place in my heart.

Now all I need is a novella. Please, C.J., I'm begging.

ARC REVIEW – Isle of Pain by CJ Lucci
Excuse me while I go SCREAM into the abyss because… WHERE CAN I FIND MY OWN NICO?!
Seriously. This man. This book. My whole chest hurts in the best way.

First off—massive thank you to CJ Lucy for blessing me with an ARC of this beauty. I devoured it in under 24 hours like a starving little angst goblin. And I’m not sorry.

This book is vulnerable, raw, emotional AF, and still somehow manages to scorch your eyeballs with the spice level. It tackles HEAVY topics—so please, for the love of your mental wellbeing, check those trigger warnings—but it never lets you drown in the trauma. Instead, it holds your hand through it, gives you a weighted blanket, and whispers “consent is sexy” in your ear.

Now let’s talk characters.
Marie and Nico? I WAS ROOTING FOR YOU.
The character development had me in shambles. The softness. The respect. The way they talk and listen and check in with each other?? I could cry. Actually, I did cry. And then I blushed. And then I cried again. It was an emotional rollercoaster and I didn’t want to get off.

AND THE TROPES?
CJ said: “What if I take your overdone dom/sub stereotypes and just casually FLIP THEM ON THEIR HEADS?”
And I said: YES MA’AM.
Nico is the experienced one in the BDSM world, but he’s the submissive. Marie is figuring herself out, and the way they explore that together? My heart. My soul. My Kindle is on FIRE.

OH and the virgin trope?? Normally I avoid it like unseasoned chicken—but THIS? They’re both virgins. 🤯They both explore. It’s tender. It’s vulnerable. It’s HOT. I want to bottle this book’s energy and drink it daily.

Bonus heartbreaker: Nico has sensory issues around being touched, and CJ writes it with such care and respect and tenderness. The exploration, the communication, the aftercare?? You can pry this book out of my cold, dead hands.

This was a solid 4 stars and 4 S’s (that’s SPICE, SWEETNESS, SENSITIVITY, and SMUT) and I have zero regrets. In fact, I’m off to stalk the rest of the series because clearly I need more pain, love, and hot emotional men in my life.

I found a new author to love!!!!

this book broke me and didn’t exactly put me back together because i’m an even bigger mess then i was after reading it. the twin trauma was strong in this one and it hit way too close to home. i was bawling my eyes out right off the bat and had to put it down a few times throughout because the raw pain and trauma was so vivid. both main characters were so mentally and emotionally scarred and tormented that i lived their struggles, i faced their demons – some both metaphorically and literally. i was also losing my grandfather as i read this so their story will stay with me, forever a part of my own story.

* i was sent an arc by the author in exchange for a honest review

I received an Advanced Reader's Copy and this is rounded up from a 4.5.

I was a little worried about reading this due to the trigger warning for cancer and death of a loved one. But I loved the other two books so much that I ended up taking my time and I skipped one chapter. And I’m so glad I did.

Nico and Marie’s journey is a tough one, especially Marie. I have no experience close to what she’s felt, but when reading it, it felt raw, visceral and genuine.

The kink in this book was also really well written - it’s the kinkiest out of the three, and I loved how the author made sure to include consent, check-ins, scenes etc, so it felt authentic.

It’s definitely a series/world I’ve become invested in, and I can’t wait to read the next books in this series!

Mediocre - there were a lot of grammatical errors or either spelling mistakes. The main characters lack any real sort of connection.

I received an ARC of this and must admit, when reading the trigger warnings I felt overwhelmed and wasn’t sure how I would feel reading this. My first question was WHY the need to write something with THAT many warnings and tropes, I was quite taken aback and it didn’t set me up for a book I was going to enjoy.

Alas. the plot of this book was decent and it actually had a storyline along with the spicy scenes! Would I read something like it again..? Probably not. However if you’re into DARK mafia romance then this book is one to read.

What a ride. Marie is lost, her twin and soulmate passes leaving an infant daughter. She doesn't know how to cope. She finds the bottom of several bottles. Nico is carrying the guilt of his father's death. Together, they learn to love and accept love from others. Marie and Nico accept each other's darkness.

"I love that I don’t have to pretend that I like contact with her. Intimately, from the very first time we met, she understood what I couldn’t vocalise and has never made me feel bad about it. That’s her strength." - Nico

"For the first time in my life, someone stood up for me and empowered me, made me feel like I was a part of the family." - Marie

I love this book so much! Nico and Marie help each other in moments where nobody is there for them. Marie's twin sister (Lisa) who's just had a baby, passed away. Marie has guardianship over baby Ember. She has a hard time grieving her sister, the one that always saw her. Nico saw her and told her to text him if she wanted to drink again. And she did. That resulted in her and baby Ember living with him. Nico has autism, and I really love how that had a place in this book; his struggles were relatable. Nico doesn't like to be touched, and he had conversations about that with Marie; he wants it, but it's just hard. It was a big step for him, and she understood that and simply helped him and gave him time and space so he could get used to it. I really love the way that was written; they slowly started exploring while being mindful of their boundaries. They really helped each other and tried new things; they opened up to each other.

Nico put a lot of effort into taking care of baby Ember and in being what Marie needs, and Marie helps him with his wants and needs. They built up trust, and she could dominate him; that was so HOT and sexy! And I think that a mmc being in a relationship and with this dynamic with a fmc isn't shown a lot in books, so I'm really glad this book showed that in a loving way! They felt safe with each other and had a lot of fun. They helped each other heal and be the best versions of themselves for their beautiful family and for themselves.

"I never imagined myself a father. But I believe it’s only because I hadn’t met Ember. I was born to be her dad." - Nico

I was smiling (and crying towards the end) while reading this book. And I felt seen. I really love the adoption trope! This book had heavy topics and was written with a lot of care. The characters just felt so real!

I received an ARC copy of this book.

Review:
CJ was not exaggerating when she said this book would hurt. The trauma and healing that both of Marie and Nico go through will tear your heart apart, but also bring you so much joy to see what they are able to overcome with each other. I just wanted to pull sweet Marie into a hug. That girl had so much love to give, but felt like such a disappointment and outcast within her own family. Her wounds were definitely more self inflicted than Nico’s, but his unwavering support and adoration helped her have the courage to help herself in the end. Nico is the sweetest little scary hitman you’ll ever meet. The small things he did for both Marie and Ember melted my heart. From the moment he saw them both he knew that they were his, and he was going to do everything to prove to Marie that he was hers. And now let’s get down to the spicy bits because OH MY GOD. CJ has me ready to start a petition for more submissive whimpering men in books because this was HOT HOT HOT 🔥🔥🔥. Watching Marie come into her power through his submissiveness and him showering her with pure adoration when she was dominant with him was beautiful and so fucking hot. Some of the best smut I’ve read in a while, and such a well researched display of the BDSM community. I can’t wait to dive back into the Moretti world.

This book hurt but in the best way, the trauma & healing journey Marie & Nico go through is tough but ends in the best way for them both.
Marie has felt unseen by her family for a long time and doesn’t choose the best mother to cope, Nico sees her pain straight away and helps her heal.

Check the content/trigger warnings before reading & enjoy!

Where do I start with this book! Thank you for sending me it as a ARC I devoured it in less than 24 hours!

This book gives smut and spice and good boy a whole new level that I needed this year. I love the dark romance and the acceptance between the main characters.

This book will make your eyes water how hot it is, the only question I have is where can I find my own Nico?

This book contains a lot of heavy topics that are beautifully detailed and emotional but the trigger warnings shouldn’t be brushed over with that being said I give this book 4 stars and 4🌶️ you won’t regret picking up this spice trust me!!

A dark, mafia romance.

A beautiful tale of perseverance, overcoming obstacles and finding true love

Marie is the 4th daughter, the silent, invisible one.
When her twin dies in child birth, she is thrust into the spotlight in her family, blamed for her silence, stricken with the pain of being the surviving twin...

She takes on the responsibility of raising her niece Ember, but as the weight of her secrets becomes too much to bear, she leaves the island of Kalliste and its familiarity behind.

Her path leads her to Nico, a mafia assassin, with whom she develops a serious atraction.

Beautifully written, Marie's story is told with deference and tact, making her character growth and development, even better to read.

I was kindly sent an advanced copy of this book by the author, but this review reflects my honest opinion.

LOVE LOVE LOVE! I had the honor of being an ARC reader and I will scream from the rooftops, this is my favorite book in this series thus far. I love neurodivergent killer Nico - the representation here is so real and raw and beautiful. And Marie’s struggle with addiction was heart wrenching but extremely accurate - made me cry both times I read through this. Harder on the second time actually. The “found family” aspect is so wholesome it makes your heart melt. The story is phenomenal, the smut 🤌. I am so proud of CJ and her journey as a writer, and this book continues to showcase her talents.❤️‍🔥

I really liked this book!
I had read the previous books in the series and this book is a great continuation.
Both the main characters Nico and Marie were "introduced" in Isle of Seduction, and now we get the continuation of their story.
This book deals with the loss of a loved one through cancer and there is alcoholism, but it is done in a way that although I "felt" it, it did not trigger me.
C.J. Lucci writes it in such a way that made it very real but not in a damaging way to my personal experience.
This book also introduced me to fem/dom, and I really enjoyed it.

This is a rather hard book to rate and review, because I both liked and didn’t like it.

I will start with the writing, because that part is done beautifully. While it’s an emotional, heartfelt read about perseverance, healing, and finding love in the most unexpected ways with some heavy topics like grief, cancer, and alcoholism, the writing style allows you to feel the pain but without letting it overwhelm or ruin the reading experience. So a true testament to the author’s skill.

I loved the growth and development of both main characters. Their growth felt authentic, and the way they respected each other’s boundaries, practised patience, and communicated openly, made their relationship truly feel like a partnership. Their connection was powerful, unique and genuine.

The portrayal of the Dom/sub dynamic was done exceptionally well! It emphasised boundaries, consent, open communication, and most importantly, safe words. It’s rare to find such an accurate representation of BDSM in a book, but this one nailed it, especially in how often communication was prioritised.

Now, onto what didn’t work for me: the sheer number of side characters and names. There were just too many. When I saw the family tree at the beginning, I hoped it wouldn’t be too confusing, but it was. I found myself only really keeping track of Marie, Nico, Ember, and Marie’s twin, Lisa. Beyond them, it became a blur.

There were also multiple names for the same person. Mimi was Marie, Lili was Lisa, and Lana was Alana. However, that wasn’t the real confusing part; It were all the other names: Giulia, Catalina, Julian, Andrea, Colomba, Misha Petrov, Lisandru, Ventura, Aleksei Dobrev, Irina, Dante, Angele… and probably a few more I have forgotten. My brain just couldn’t keep up, especially when the POV jumped from Nico and Marie’s to Julian.

If the sheer number of names wasn’t enough, there was also just too much happening. The relationship between Marie and Nico and their healing journey was enough to make the story great. But adding in all the Mafia business and the sprawling cast of characters made it feel like overkill, and honestly, it made the book drag. It took me 12 days to get through it.

So, I can’t rate it below a 3, because the writing itself is genuinely excellent. But I didn’t enjoy it enough to rate it any higher.

These are just my thoughts and feelings. This isn’t a bad book, not at all. It simply wasn’t my cup of tea.

CJ Lucci is a new author to me and I was lucky to get an early copy of this book. It was something that intrigued me through the trope list as I had never read a book with a fem dom and maybe they’re out there but just not on my radar but this book was soo good.

There are a handful of sensitive topics such as cancer leading to death and alcoholism but I can’t fault her writing, it was handled so well.

The cancer leading to death was the FMC twin sister who when she found out she was pregnant then found out she had cancer but wanted to keep the baby. The drinking is the FMC who for most of her life has felt invisible to her family, being the youngest of a mafia family and always cast aside she took to drinking.

When Marie’s sister passes away she seeks comfort in Nico, the families angel of death who has his own demons he’s fighting. Marie and Nico help each other while Marie raises her twin sister’s little baby. Nico sees something in Marie which is also something he loves, he sees a dom, which is exactly what Marie also needs, she craves control.

I don’t want to say much else so I’ll leave it there, as always check those triggers. Book releases April 25th and here’s the trope list:

🔥No one can touch him but her
🔥He begs
🔥Femme dom
🔥Adoption trope
🔥Tracker as a love language
🔥Man obsessed
🔥Virgin FMC and MMC
🔥Breeding

Isle of pain is my first book by this author and it most certainly won’t be my last. Isle of pain is the third book of the Moretti Chronicles and even though I didn’t read the first two books I was able to follow the story line very easily. Be sure to check your TWs for this book as it discusses serious topics.

If I could describe Marie and Nico’s story it would be heartbreakingly beautiful. They were both the lifeline that each other needed. The initial spark began the moment the pair laid eyes on each other at Marie’s family Christmas party. Nico’s obsession grew very quickly with Marie’s following right after.

Marie has been keeping a secret from her family for years in that she turns to alcohol quite frequently to numb her pain, and she spirals even further after losing her twin sister and becoming a mother in the blink of an eye. Marie develops a bond with his sister’s daughter Ember and she takes on the role as Embers mother. I understood this gravely as Ember was her last connection to her twin.

Nico on the other hand he is a man who is ridden with guilt as he blames himself gravely for his father’s passing. He is a man who craves pain and likes to be dominated by his partner, he also has an aversion to touch until Marie. At first he can’t understand why he wants to be in her constant proximity, but he soon learns this is a woman he wants to have by his side and her daughter included. He knows they are a package deal and he I adore how much is instantly protective of them both and didn’t hesitate to take on the father role with Ember, in his eyes she was his daughter.

After the passing of her sister, Marie needs to escape the suffocating environment of her family and Nico jumps to offer her that escape. Before you know it she and Ember are moving into Nico’s cabin. When she shows up to the cabin to her utter surprise Nico has organised all the items that she and little Ember may need. Also he was so nervous holding Ember because she was so small and he watched YouTube videos of how to swaddle a baby - I mean bless my heart that adorable man😭

As the book develops Marie and Nico open up to one another and he shows her what exactly it is that he desires when it comes to the bedroom. Marie absolutely took on the fem-dom role like a champ, I was fully ready to bark myself if I’m honest because damn it was hot😮‍💨 The chemistry was undeniable and the spice was delicious. I loved how Nico kept Marie involved with all things family matters wise which is something her family failed to do. He knew she was strong and more capable than ever.

Overall I absolutely loved this book. These two characters had deep pain but found a light in each other. Thank you so much to the author for providing this e-arc for my honest thoughts 💭

I went in to this book with a bit of prejudice. I've read from this author before, and while I enjoyed it, it couldn't hold a candle to this book! I was BLOWN AWAY! The characters were so detailed, their struggles so real, I was caught between tears and giddy laughter the entire story. Nico was HOT in more ways than one. His unique personality gave him so many layers but also made his love seem that much truer. And Marie's grief? Her feelings of betrayal, rejection, her depression, her addiction all created a character that ripped my heart out. But I cheered out loud when she finally began to recognize her struggles and seek the help she needed. She was so realistic, her pain and coping mechanisms as bad as they were, seemed like exactly what you would see in reality. No part of her was whitewashed for the sake of making her a more "perfect" FMC. Their relationship, helping each other grow and heal while still loving and accepting the other exactly how they were with broken edges and all, was one of the best I've read in a long time. Now let's talk about what my fellow smut-lovers really want to know about. The spice. C.J. Lucci writes some of the best spice I have ever read, hands down! This was my first "femme dom" story, and I loved it! It was hot, it was emotional at times, it handled kink SO WELL. Consent is sexy my friends, and Lucci always knows how to write that so well without taking you out of the buildup of the scene. I recommend this story to anyone looking for gut-wrenching angst, top-tier spice, and characters that you will fall madly in love with. Oh and the plot? Yeah that was also fantastic.

Even though I stopped reading this book for like 2 weeks, I loved picking it back up and continuing on. I really liked the dynamic between Marie and Nico. Two people with really big trauma issues come together and form a power couple. How can it get better than that?! And the way Nico just became dad of the year without even thinking about it. There was no hesitation when it came to Marie and Nico. Anything they needed, he was there. Anything they wanted, he got it. Anything that would come their way to harm them, he was there to defend and ruin. He was thereeeeeeee! While Marie's family was a dysfunctional and a little messed up towards her, unfortunately I can see where they're coming from. But I also think they didn't even try to give Marie the chance to be the mother of Ember. I loved everything about their relationship, their love for each other and their love for Ember. The Capadli's were everything Marie needed in her time of need. I loved the mental health rep of when Marie admitted herself to rehab and got help for herself. Finally for herself. Not only for Ember and not only for Nico, but for herself so she could be better for them. And Nico's thing with the paintings. I loved how all circle that was. I honestly wasn't even mad about the ending where they got married. You know I hate those, but this one I can accept and it felt right because honestly they were already married. Nico said it best, "She is mine and I am hers". In regards of Ember and in regards of Marie. He is a total book boyfriend! This was really really good. It handled everything right and I would totally read more about this family.

Ok, so first off, let me start by saying that this read is darker/more out of my comfort zone than most. So my review pretty much is divided in 2 sides.
1. The writing; the storyline in this book has a nice flow and the used language is understandable and pleasant. I don't really have any remarks here.
The storyline; the book pretty much spans over 2 years and skips months at a time but in the right area's. The build up is chronological and shows us just the right amount of background to get to know our mc's.
The lovestory; this is where my interest was peaked. Because while I did not feel any of the bdsm stuff, the author was able to write it in a way that I still connected with the mc's. Because under the gauze of all that Dom and sub stuff, it is clear that both mc's have a vast attraction to each other and are traumatized both in their own ways. The love shines through brightly and that was what made this read, a 3,5 star for me, even without me liking the rest of it!

2. As said, this book has heavy dom/sub vibes intertwined in the story off our MC's. Of which a large part is linked to bdsm.
I learned that this is something that I have a hard time relating to, and thereby made this read a little harder than average. Since I'm a little in the dark about this whole scene, I want to state that my review is based on the overal writing, storyline and love between the mc's, not the bdsm part as that would not be fair.
I would like to thank the author for this ARC opportunity!

This was my first approach to the author, and I'm absolutely obsessed.

I enjoyed the book so much that I could hardly put it down. I read it in one sitting. The story, the mcs, the dynamics between them, and even the side characters. I loved it everything.

The book has some heavy topics such as death, alcoholism, bdms, so if they're not your cup of tea, this is not the book for you. But if they're, I can assure you that the author did a fantastic job describing everything. It's palpable the amount of research that was conducted to portray everything so graciously. It's something I appreciate a lot.

This was my first femdom book, and I'm still figuring it out if it is something I like, but the consent, the safe words, and the communication were my favourite parts. And let me tell you, the spice was spicing. Loved it.

Marie is a melancholic character with her issues. It was heartbreaking reading her story and povs, but I adore how she owned it and took care of herself. Nico is a dark character, but the way he carried himself and the way he loved had me in tears. I loved him so much, and I would have loved to read even more of his story and past. Marie and Nico are two complex characters, but they fit together so well, and the amount of love they have for each other was truly incredible.

Overall, I really enjoyed the book, and I absolutely recommend it.

Thank you so much to the author for letting me read this in advance. I received this for free, and I'm leaving an honest review voluntarily.

I had the honor of being and ARC reader, thank you CJ!

What a gorgeous, vulnerable story.
It discusses HEAVY themes but does so in a way that makes you feel the pain, but not drown in it (still, please check the trigger warnings!). The character development is 👌🏻✨️, All the way I was rooting for these two (or these three, really) finding their way and creating the life they wanted.

When it comes to the relationship between Marie and Nico, this book turns a lot of common tropes on their ass and I am HERE FOR IT.

So often we have the male dom being all experienced and he'll show the innocent little sub all the ins and outs of the lifestyle. Here we still have the man as the experienced one in BDSM, but he's the sub and it completely changes the dynamic of showing her what he likes, and what she might like. I absolutely loved this.

I'm ususally not a big fan of the "she's a virgin" trope, but CJ turned that on its head by making them both virgins and OMG it changed the whole game. It was absolutely beautiful.
Add to that the detail that Nico has sensory issues with being touched so they get to explore that together... I ate it up. CJ wrote this so beautifully, so vulnerable...

The way Marie and Nico respect each other's boundaries, talk about their experiences, ask for consent, repeatedly discuss safewords and their needs regarding aftercare... so good. So, so, so good.

I adored this book. A great continuation of the series and Marie and Nico came very close to becoming my fave couple in the series. (That title still belongs to Giulia and Andrea though 💛)

I was really ready for Nico and Marie’s story—and I absolutely enjoyed it. But wow, it was heavy. There’s so much pain in this book. A big twist hits early on, and just when you think they might finally be okay, another one comes at the end. It hurt, but it also kept me completely pulled in.

Nico is neurodivergent, and that made him even more interesting to read about. He has trouble with people and doesn’t always understand social cues, but when he meets Marie, he’s instantly drawn to her. That quiet obsession, that focus on his person—I love that in a main character. He doesn’t always get things right, but everything he does is for her.

Their dynamic in the D/s relationship was well done. The consent, the check-ins, the boundaries—it all felt real and respectful. I liked seeing Marie grow into her role, and how Nico fully trusted her. It wasn’t just about spice (though yes, it was hot), it was about connection and safety too.

Still, I felt like the story mostly focused on Marie. Her trauma, her pain, her journey. She’s been through a lot, and it was emotional to read. But I really wanted more from Nico’s side. I wanted to know what he was feeling during the hardest moments. We see what he does, but I wanted to hear more of what was going on inside him.

Despite all the trauma, there was something beautiful about how they kept choosing each other. They found peace and comfort together, even when everything around them hurt. Nico’s way of loving was quiet but powerful, and the way he looked after both Marie and Ember really stayed with me.

This book isn’t light—it deals with death, grief, trauma, and healing. But it’s written with care, and you feel the love underneath all the darkness. It’s messy and emotional, but also soft in the right places.

Isle of Pain by CJ Lucci is a beautifully intense mafia romance that explores sensitive themes such as trauma, alcohol addiction, and murder. Please make sure to check the trigger warnings before reading, as the content can be heavy at times.

What truly stood out to me was the exceptional portrayal of consent. The steamy scenes were not only hot but also emotionally rich, driven by mutual trust and deep respect.

I adored the fact that both the FMC and MMC are virgins, and they take their time exploring intimacy in a loving and respectful way. Their relationship is a slow burn, not rushed or forced, they build their connection through trust, care, and honest communication.

There’s a 6-year age gap between Marie and Nico, but it’s handled beautifully. Nico never uses his age or power against her. Instead, he supports her without question and always treats her as his equal. After a traumatic event early in the book, Marie is given exactly what she needs: patience, space, and genuine care.

This is also one of the rare femdom romances I’ve read, and I was pleasantly surprised. The dynamic felt natural and tender, as they both discover themselves and each other.

And let’s not forget Nico with baby Ember… My ovaries exploded. I need more.

Highly recommend if you're looking for dark mafia romance with less mafia and more emotions. I received this book in exchange for my honest review.
