Her twenty-first birthday rang in the first day of the humid New Orleans summer and Aziza was hell-bent on making the most of it.

A tall, dark and Creole hunk of a man named Landon walked into the waiting room, something about him rocked her to the core. She knew he was going to be an integral part of her summer.

When two strangers, Ardra and Kaiser, manage to make a place for themselves with her reclusive grandmother, she can't shake the feeling that their arrival signals the beginning of something terrible.

The unseen threat manifests itself in her dreams and she begins to spiral out of control. Having driven away her family and friends, she turns to Landon, Ardra and Kaiser for help only to find out that none of them are quite what they seem.

The battle between Light and Dark has reached a tipping point and the gates of Hell are crumbling. Aziza must find a way to stop the Darkness from spilling over into our world before the scales tip any further and the war destroys us all.

Loved this book. Received an ARC for an honest review. Best in the series to date and you can see how David has grown as an author since the release of the first book in this series. The characters were addictive and I found myself lost in their world more than once while reading this story. Aziza and Landon were super steamy and I loved that the battle between good and evil wasn't what you had come to expect in the first two books. So sneaky!! So excited for Damned to be released!

The third book in the United series, I enjoyed Saved. The addition of Aziza and Landon, and of course, Jynx and Nana to the mix was a welcome one. Landon made me laugh, and anyone' s book-Nana is a friend of mine. AND! Yes, for those who read the preceding reviews and may be wondering - there was sex in this book! Happy moment for this reviewer, indeed.

As in its predecessors, Saved is replete with humor and snark, well developed characters and wonderfully detailed writing. Great development of characters and their relationships as couples, as family, as friends as they gear up to battle Chaos. Once more we are invited to see that all is not black and white... and sometimes the answers are embedded within the gray.

It starts to become clearer that these characters are forces that must at some point unite to defeat Chaos... Looking forward to #4, and once again author David Michael has me wondering not only what is next, but how exactly Luke, Sara and Mak tie into the characters from the previous books and their astral plane!

Every book so far in this series has been packed full of drama but sometimes I have found it hard to keep track of the story line in some areas especially when starting the books. Overall though, I do enjoy reading this series and I'm looking forward to reading book 4.

We got to meet some new characters in this book. Asisa and Laydon and of course Nana, Asisa's grandmother. There are a few secrets between these three that once revealed, make a great explosion. They meet Ardra and Kaiser who are taken in by Nana. There is a new threat to take down and for Asisa, this is a whole new world that she is starting to experience.

Like I said before, this book is packed full of drama and The United Series is a great series to read. I'm looking forward to read what's in store in book 4.

Love it! Received an ARC for an honest review. It is difficult for me to express in words just how much I loved this book! David never fails to lead the reader through a journey full of interesting characters and winding roads. In Saved, he uses a bit of humor and lot of sexy to pull you into his world in a way that makes you never want to leave. Aziza and Landon, coupled with the return of Ardra and Kaiser from Blessed (Book #1), heat up the pages of this hot read! They also bring their own set of special dynamics to the ever-building story that is the United Series. David continues to transform his art as a writer with each book. I am excited to see what the next installment will bring for us!

With the third book in the series I really enjoyed the addition of Aziza, Landon, Nana & Jynx. Well, I have to say I really love Landon, he had me laughing throughout the book. Ardra & Kaiser are back, but Kaiser gets to be human this time, mostly, and had me laughing at his antics through out too. Just like in the first 2 books the story was very well written with lots of twists I wasn't expecting, and had me having a bit of a panic attack at the end lol! This one really shows it's not all black and white or good and evil, so much in between. Can't wait to see who comes back in book 4 and what they'll be getting themselves into next!

Saved

Just as heart pounding and heartbreaking as the fist two in the series. In this one there is a family feud that could get everyone involved killed. Will this generations pride be their undoing or will they break the curse? Can't wait to see where this series goes next.
